“Perfect hosts for us and our dogs! It's the first time we've used Rover, but I'm so glad we did. From the very beginning, they made us feel completely at ease—great communication, very attentive, and clearly experienced with dogs. A special mention to Jessica, who has her own bakery/pastry business—she even gifted us some of her products, and they were absolutely delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and genuinely caring hosts.”

“This was our second time leaving our pups with Zachary, it was another great experience. They sent us pictures daily, they took great care of our dogs. Our dogs came home happy and healthy. We definitely recommend Zachary & will continue to board here going forward 😊”

“What a great job Lucy did with our cat! She was kind and professional and went above and beyond when we had a pickup issue. Our cat was extremely well cared for so we will definitely use her again when needed. Many thanks Lucy!!”

“Perhaps the best recommendation I can give for Aimee is that now when I tell my dog Pippa that she is going to "go see Aimee," she starts jumping up and down with excitement! Seriously, it's wonderful to know that Pippa is safe and happy while we are away. Huge thanks!”

“I have a 3 month old kitten. This my first time leaving my baby girl since I adopted her. Alyssa reassured me constantly and sent photos and Videos of my fur baby so I could enjoy my vacation in peace. She feed her properly and returned all of her things at pick up. (I’m sure I sent my kittens whole house of stuff) She responded quickly and gave updates daily. I will definitely recommend her and will definitely be using her again. Thank uuuu Alyssa!!”

“Sarah and her family were the best. This was my first time using the rover app. I was referred by a friend and I was definitely very nervous in the beginning. We had to book the reservation last minute but the process was extremely smooth. We have never had to ask anyone other than family to look after cookie while we travel. Needless to say even with a few mishaps with cookie getting adjusted Sarah and her family handled cookie with absolute love and care. I was updated with pictures and that made my family and I feel even more at ease. I will definitely be using Sarah again as long and her and her family allows cookie to be a guest again. Thanks again we greatly appreciate the help. I would highly recommend Sarah.”
“This is the 2nd time we have used Robert and zSaluba to look after our multipoo. We are extremely satisfied with the care given and being in touch with us right throughout the sitting period. The communication with the Robert is extremely fast abs responsive. We'll use this host again every time in the future.”

“Jacob did a beautiful job with our dog Ripley; he was communicative, stuck to the schedule we provided, and sent us many adorable photos of Ripley during their time together (which helped us miss him a little less!). I think it helps that Jacob himself is so calm, as is his space, that Ripley, who is a bit hyper, was chilled out too. Would heartily recommend Jacob to anyone who needs a safe, reliable, and responsible sitter!”

“Brittney is awesome! She has a great personality and made me feel comfortable leaving my Ziggy with her instantly. She has watched Ziggy twice, for one week each time. During Thanksgiving she even gave him a bow tie and gift bag! To top it off she also sends pictures periodically so you have no reason to worry. You won’t be disappointed!!”

“Our dog was well taken care of with Anthony and his family. We could tell that she was happy when we picked her up, so happy that I don’t think she wanted to leave.”

About: I would love to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am semi retired and currently have 2 rescues, Archie, 7 schnauzer mix and Sugar, 3 Jack Russell mix. I live on 3/4 of an acre lot in town with my husband and enjoy taking our dogs for daily walks sometimes up to 3 miles at our surrounding parks in Mansfield. I have experience walking 3-4 dogs at a time :) For the past 2 years I have cared for my daughter and son in laws dog, a Labrador, while they were overseas with the military. They recently came back to the states and reunited with their dog. Dogs are like family members to me and I include them in all parts of my daily routine. My dogs daily routine is morning potty, outside run in the yard first, and then breakfast inside. I walk the pups during the coolest part of the day whether it be mid morning or early evening. In between they are inside and follow me into my sewing room or out into the yard to check my flower beds and vegetable gardens. They go where I go. Dinner around 5pm because they are very good at reading the clock. :) Last chance potty in the yard at 9:30pm and then in for a chew stick before settling in for the night. MY dogs are couch sleepers. When there have been visiting dogs in my home ( our kids dogs/ mom's dog) I stay with them to make sure they are acclimated with their surroundings. My home has a large fenced lot for running and playing and cameras in the house to keep an extra eye as well. I do have an inground pool, so any dogs that are unfamiliar with that I stay with when taking them outdoors for play for safety reasons. If your dog is a crate sleeper, I do have an extra large crate that I keep in my family room inside.
“This is our third time having Linda watch our fur baby. Linda communicates well and is patient with our pup, who was reverting back on the potty training. Xôi loves staying with Linda and her parents!”

“Lynda was wonderful with our pups. She took great care of them, sent us photo updates and showed our dogs all the love they could want. We will definitely be using her in the future”
“Luis is great with dogs...and their human conterpart. I have large breed. She has separation anxiety. The first time I left her -back in June- she was panicked about my leaving. However, when I picked her up two days later, I was talking to Luis in the backyard and she was so super relaxed, running around his amazing property having a good time. This last time (November) she didn't panick so much about my lvg. He was honest & open that she showed signs of intial separation anxiety when I first was leaving, but quickly acclimated to having a relaxing time. When I picked her up this time, again while we spoke she was running off to the far back, like she wasn't even bothered if I was leaving. She really likes Luis and his place... as do I -her human ((; ChristaRuth. I'll be going to the area abt once a month now, and will use his great service. So many ppl don't know how to manage dogs. He is not one. Thanks again Luis!”

“India took great care of my dog and his particular needs. He had recently had a medical issue and she accommodated all of his issues. She is kind, communicative, patient, and very open to adapting to routines. I felt very at ease leaving Bosco in her care.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
