“Perfect hosts for us and our dogs! It's the first time we've used Rover, but I'm so glad we did. From the very beginning, they made us feel completely at ease—great communication, very attentive, and clearly experienced with dogs. A special mention to Jessica, who has her own bakery/pastry business—she even gifted us some of her products, and they were absolutely delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and genuinely caring hosts.”

“Sara was wonderful with my baby, Diva. She took great care of her and kept me updated, which really put this worried dog mom's mind at ease during a stressful time. I'm so grateful for her kindness, care, and attention. Highly recommend! 🐾💕”

“Narmeen is the best! She is the go-to sitter for our big lovable baby Bogart. We're always confident that he's in good hands with regular update & pictures. We travel twice a year & wouldn't consider using anyone else. Thanks to Narmeen for making our vacations even more relaxing! Mike”

“I have nothing but good things to say about Lucyna! I felt so safe, leaving my dog with her for over a week. I received lots of pictures while I was gone and updates and he came back completely healthy and happy. Will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Naomi and her husband took such good care of Bayleah. I am super happy with their services and have already rebooked them. I know Bayleah can be a handful at time and they were able to keep Bayleah "in check" as you would say. They have an adorable dog for Bayleah to play with. They kept me posted throughout Bayleah visit with tons of photos and videos. I love that they have a super cool dog park too. I would highly recommend Naomi for your fur babies babysitting needs.”

“Dayna is amazing! She has been available on short notice every time. The dogs are happy and excited to go to her home and I don't have to worry about them. Thank you Dayna for being awesome....and you entire family!”

“Samantha is wonderful with animals! My pup had so much fun with her dogs. She always sent update text & videos of my pup. He was in really good care & I will book again.”

“Lili was very pleasant during our booking interaction and even more pleasant at our 1st meeting. My dog (Truffles) had never been away from home nor around other dogs; however, she ensured my dog had smooth transition to both her home and her pets. She greeted us each day with pictures of Truffles, which gave us more assurance that he was in a happy place. I would most definitely use her as a sitter again, and I highly recommend her services.”

“I would highly recommend Anthony. From the beginning he was very responsive and thorough. He was flexible working around my schedule and did a great job with my dogs. 5 stars all around.”

“First time I ever left my baby with someone I did not personally know and was beyond happy! She exceeded all my expectations and made the whole experience worry free. My little dog had a blast and is now going to be extra excited I go on vacation!”

“Aimee was absolutely amazing with Oslo, she kept me informed and took the best care of him. It was so nice getting so many photos of how well he was doing and how much he was enjoying time with her and her kids. I will undoubtedly be using her again!”

“Jacob did a great job taking care of Pluto! He was reliable, friendly, and kept me updated the whole time. Pluto was happy and well taken care of when I got back. I would definitely recommend Jacob and will be booking him again in the future! 🐾”

“Hands down the best pet sitter I’ve had! Always communicating and sending so many pictures throughout the day! Apollo gets so much love and attention when with Brenda and her family!!”

About: I would love to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am semi retired and currently have 2 rescues, Archie, 7 schnauzer mix and Sugar, 3 Jack Russell mix. I live on 3/4 of an acre lot in town with my husband and enjoy taking our dogs for daily walks sometimes up to 3 miles at our surrounding parks in Mansfield. I have experience walking 3-4 dogs at a time :) For the past 2 years I have cared for my daughter and son in laws dog, a Labrador, while they were overseas with the military. They recently came back to the states and reunited with their dog. Dogs are like family members to me and I include them in all parts of my daily routine. My dogs daily routine is morning potty, outside run in the yard first, and then breakfast inside. I walk the pups during the coolest part of the day whether it be mid morning or early evening. In between they are inside and follow me into my sewing room or out into the yard to check my flower beds and vegetable gardens. They go where I go. Dinner around 5pm because they are very good at reading the clock. :) Last chance potty in the yard at 9:30pm and then in for a chew stick before settling in for the night. MY dogs are couch sleepers. When there have been visiting dogs in my home ( our kids dogs/ mom's dog) I stay with them to make sure they are acclimated with their surroundings. My home has a large fenced lot for running and playing and cameras in the house to keep an extra eye as well. I do have an inground pool, so any dogs that are unfamiliar with that I stay with when taking them outdoors for play for safety reasons. If your dog is a crate sleeper, I do have an extra large crate that I keep in my family room inside.
“Linda and her family are wonderful! I was very nervous leaving my dog with a sitter for the first time. Our dog stayed with Linda for two weeks while we traveled to Europe. Linda’s home is very welcoming and meticulously cared for. Linda and her parents instantly took to our dog. I felt extremely confident at drop off that this was the right place and he was going to be safe and loved. Linda is very detail oriented. She follows care instructions to the letter. Every day I received thoughtful updates, photos, and videos. It made our vacation so much more enjoyable knowing our dog was in such a loving environment. I will definitely be a return client. We feel so blessed to have found Linda and her family through Rover. Many thanks!!! 💕”

“Jkiyah accepted our request for a dog sitter at the last minute as our family was traveling out of the states for Christmas Eve weekend. We really felt comfortable leaving our senior dog, Scruffy, with her. Jkiyah was very attentive of Scruffy's needs and kept us updated of his daily activities. He appeared quite comfortable with her. We will definately book Jkiyah as our sitter whenever we travel again. She gets our highest recommendation.”

“Nyrice provided excellent care for my Doberman during his stay. Her attention and service were so impressive that I’ll definitely return to her for future boarding needs. When I needed last-minute boarding, she was the first to respond and consistently answered my messages quickly throughout the process.”

“Thanks to David and Etienne, I was able to go to my wedding with a piece of mind about gunner being taken care of. They were able to respond to my request fairly quickly and kept me updated on gunner while I was gone.”

“Blair was very awesome! Highly recommend her for your dog. Was very quick to respond and watch our pup. Provided updates and kept us informed the whole time. Our pup warmed up ve try quick and came home happy! Will be back for sure!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Kennedale
Joshua has been great with our English Bulldog Choppa from the beginning through pickup. He responded right away to a last minute booking as we needed to go out of town unexpectedly. Joshua sent us pictures and updates which made us feel so at ease with leaving our pet. I recommend Joshua for anyone needing care for their pet.

Aimee did a great job caring for my cat, Mister. He turned out to be quite vocal when we left him, but she was very patient and kind to him. Thank you Aimee for giving us the opportunity to take our trip and not worry about him! We appreciate you (and your daughter) 😊!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
There are 2,895 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Kennedale. About 91% of Kennedale sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
