“Haven went above and beyond to make sure Ava got all the love and attention while we were away on a long trip. From taking her on long walks to keeping me in the loop on her schedule, I had full confidence that Ava was well taken care of.”

“Laurie did a great job with all the dogs. She came regularly and spent a great deal of time with him. She's very commutative and attentive to the dogs. I would recommend her to anybody.”

“My baby Coco hates leaving the house but hates being alone for sure! Mya has been very flexible and a good doggy sitter for Coco, especially since he can be very defensive. :)”

“What a wonderful experience! Leslie is an amazing person who took care of my house and kids like they were her own. I received photos and texts every day and it really made my vacation truly relaxing because she is so trustworthy. I didn't have to worry about a thing! When I came home after two weeks, the house was immaculate and the kids were happy and healthy. I would give 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend Leslie!”

“Yvette did a great job. We have an aggressive dog so our situation isn’t the easiest for most sitters but she kept everyone safe and our home clean. We would highly recommend her.”
“Maya did a great job house sitting and looking after our 2 dogs. She was great about keeping us updated every day we were gone. We have already booked her again for later in the year.”
“Joshua and his family took great care of our dogs in our home while we were away for the holidays. They even got our little “shy” guy to relax and snuggle up. Highly recommend Joshua!”

“Buddy loves Paula and that's saying a lot since he's pretty independent. She takes wonderful care of him and I trust her. I appreciate being able to not worry about him while I am away from home.”

“Kayla was great! She was willing to stay in our home to watch our pups and showed them lots of love! We received photos and videos which is a big plus for us! Will definitely rebook!”

About: I have grown up taking care of my dog Bruce who is now 12 years old. Neighbors and friends have reached out to me to take care of and watch their dogs because they know I am someone they can trust. I am currently a life guard and an online college student with a flexible school schedule. I use dog sitting as my side hustle to make a little extra money along with my current job. I have taken care of dogs whose owners use kennels and a fenced in backyard for playtime, and also the opposite. This would be no kennel but keeping the dog inside when I leave, and taking the dog outside for playtime in a fenced in backyard. This depends on your preferences. I will feed, play with, and give potty breaks/outdoor playtime for your dog. I can also walk your dog for an extra charge.

About: “I have been caring for dogs since high school and now, at nearly 20 years old, I bring several years of hands-on experience. What sets me apart is my high energy and genuine love for animals — I enjoy not only keeping pets safe and cared for, but also making sure they get plenty of playtime, exercise, and opportunities to explore and have fun. I am a new business owner as an esthetician so starting up a business takes some time so I am very flexible. I am available everyday and am very quick to communicate and respond! I make sure to always have doors shut and back yard gate shut before letting a dog go outside. I also sit with them outside so they can play and get some energy out. When walking I make sure to always check my surroundings and any cars or other animals around me.
“We have a large crew of large dogs who require extra love and Adam was wonderful with them. They all enjoyed his company and he took such great care of them! He kept in constant contact with us about how they were doing and sent lots of pictures which left my mama heart at ease! Our home was also just as we left it when we got back. We will be using Adam again in the future! Thank you so much!”

“Abigail did a great job watching our fur babies! They can be high maintenance sometimes and nervous around new people, but they warmed right up to her during our meet and greet, and she did a great job taking care of them!”

“Amber is great! Our dog needs someone who wants to play and be active. She also helped us with a few other things we needed. We will be using her to dog sit again.”

About: I am a reliable, experienced dog lover. I’ve had dogs my whole life and dog-sat for five years. I love cats as well but have a little less experience. I’m currently looking for a job, so I have lots of availability right now, but that will change soon when I find a job. I am willing to stay with pets in their home, but my dog isn’t very friendly with other dogs so I won’t be offering boarding.

“Meredith is a treasure! Our 4 dogs were immediately comfortable with her, which is nothing short of a miracle. A German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, and 2 minpins is a handful, but Meredith took great care of them. She sent text updates and pictures daily while we were away. I would definitely recommend Meredith to anyone!”

Kennedale pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jordan and her boyfriend are such great and caring people. We will miss them tremendously as we are moving and I know our animals will miss them too. ;( They outsmarted our escape artist kitty keeping her home, took our pup on walks, and provided both animals with tons of cuddles. ❤️

When our booked sitter failed to show up, we were already out of state. Rover refunded us that booking, but we still had two dogs at home all alone and no sitter. We started searching for an emergency sitter and Narmeen answered the call. She not only agreed to the last minute booking, she even headed over to our house immediately to check on the dogs. She stayed in touch and sent us pictures of the dogs and let us know how they were doing- especially helpful considering we were already on edge from the last sitter no-showing. I couldn’t be more thankful!

Mia was wonderful! Our yorkie is 3 years old and had never been left with anyone before. After meeting with Mia we knew we had nothing to worry about. She is definitely a dog lover! We left care instructions and she seemed appreciative. We communicated via text frequently.
