“Had a 3 week commitment and needed sitting for my 2 occasionally moody cats, and Kelly was perfect for the job. I received an update and pictures everyday (at least of the cats that weren't in hardcore hide mode) and I could tell through the course of pictures day to day that they became fast friends. Will definitely hire again next trip!”

“Ava was perfect for my 11 year old lab while I was gone for a week. She was super communicative and flexible giving consistent updates and paying attention to how my dog was acting so I didn’t have to stress or wonder.”

About: First time booking on Rover? Get $20 off! Hi! I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three Golden Retrievers, and they truly felt like part of the family. My most recent one recently passed after an illness, so opening my home to care for other dogs feels really special to me. I have experience caring for pets of friends and family, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, comfort, and a safe place to stay. My children also love having dogs around and are gentle and respectful, which helps create a warm, welcoming environment. We do have a Burmese cat in the home, but she has her own space and knows where to go if she prefers not to interact with dogs. Our home includes a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play, plus a kiddie pool for those hot days. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Your dog will be treated like family here—with love, patience, and attention. I work part-time from home, so I’m able to give plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My children are homeschooled and home most of the time, creating a calm, family-centered environment. We do leave occasionally for errands, church, or family events, but your dog will still have a consistent, loving, and supervised home most of the day. I also provide overnight boarding, so your dog will be safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play, and a calm, family environment with my two children who enjoy giving gentle attention and companionship. If a dog needs a little quiet time or separation, I do have an office space available. For dogs that require crating, I ask that you please provide your own crate so they can feel familiar and secure.
About: I have fostered around 100 dogs since I moved to DFW 7 years ago for different rescues in the area. I love all animals and have alot of experience caring for dogs. I was a hospice foster for a few dogs also so i have alot of empathy for animals. I have 2 princesses in the house, my little 7 year old boxer Xena who has been amazing in helping me socialize other dogs I've fostered and my mini schnauzer Princess Belle. From my pics obviously my specialty is snuggling. I do have an in ground pool in the backyard but will never leave any dogs outside unsupervised. I love animals and will treat your pets like my own. Dogs can go in a crate or have free roam of the living room at night and sleep on the couch. I will help your dog feel comfortable at my house. I work 100% remote so I can pet sit and not leave your animals for long periods of time. I can do 2 walks per day and lots of potty breaks. I can offer pet sitting/boarding and make sure your animals are safe at all times. I can crate when needed and make sure they stick to their daily routine when you are gone.

“Carol met Honey and I before her scheduled drop in visits. She followed the instructions. Carol was very good to my puppy, shared photos and you can feel she took care of my Honey in the hours time. I would highly recommend Carol!”

“I have an 11 year old large breed dog with multiple health problems and Rachel takes excellent care of him, often managing multiple medications and maintaining his complex schedule with competency and care. She truly loves him as if he's her own fur baby. She also takes great care of my plants. I have known her for 9 years, and she is extremely reliable and trustworthy. He's the only person I'd trust him with. It's so nice to be able to relax knowing he's in good hands. The peace of mind she provides when I'm gone is so valuable!”

About: I'm a UNT graduate with a degree in Dance! I have had dogs, cats, and other pets since I was of young age. I am a big animal lover; I have three dogs: Polly (chihuahua mix), Lilo (terrier mix), and Flik (terrier mix), and a sulcata tortoise named Jumba! I pay close attention to detail and I will care for your pets like they are my own. Friends always reach out to me for dog sitting and I love it! I have babysat all sizes ranging from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds so I have great experience with all size dogs. I have also worked in the VetMed/Animal Health field for over 6 years. Can't wait to meet you and your pup(s)! I’m currently stay-at-home, so I have open availability for the time being. I enjoy taking care of dogs and cats and fill my days doing so. When pets are in my home I treat them as my own; I take great safety precautions, go with them to the backyard and for potty breaks, and make sure play time is supervised. When house sitting, I always make sure to respect the space and leave it as I found it! It’s important that your pets feel at home.
“Jada and Chandler took such good care of our cats. They were constantly sending us pictures and updates during our trip. They were so caring of our babies, and we would definitely use their services again !”

About: Taking care of 2 German-rottie mixes before sending them off to their forever home left me with a realization I’d never expected: dogs are so much better than humans. Since then, I’ve picked up dog walking for my current manager as well as the occasional dog-sitting for friends. I am currently working part-time but would love to take your dog(s) on a stroll to enjoy the morning air and feel the warmth of the rising sun. The latest requests I can take would be around 2/3PM. I am the type to venture out and will definitely make sure your precious enjoys the ride. Long but manageable walks with endless conversations (mostly on my part).
About: I’ve been caring for pets for most of my life and have hands-on experience with daily routines, walks, feeding, and companionship. I’ve had my dog, Echo, for the past eight years, and both of my dogs are deaf, which has given me extensive experience with patience, nonverbal communication, consistency, and special-needs care. I’ve also had cats my entire life, so I’m very familiar with their unique personalities, routines, and individual needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I work full-time as a paralegal, which has helped me develop strong time-management skills and reliability. I maintain a consistent schedule and am intentional about planning pet care around my workday, ensuring pets receive dependable attention, timely walks, feedings, and check-ins. I’m communicative, punctual, and happy to coordinate schedules in advance so your pet’s routine stays as normal and stress-free as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home or during walks, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all feeding instructions, walk schedules, and care preferences closely, and I pay careful attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort. I’m experienced with administering basic care, providing enrichment and companionship, and ensuring safety at all times—especially for pets with special needs. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos so they can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away.

Adrianna has been extremely amazing. She communicates very well and ensures that’s she provides the best service possible. My apartment stays clean, my dog had a great routine, and I knew he was well taken care of. I’m going to miss her as she goes to school but can’t thank her enough.

Elizabeth was great! She took excellent care of my dog while I was away and made the whole experience stress-free. She was reliable, communicative, and I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her and would happily book with her again!

Jacob was absolutely phenomenal taking care of our babies! From day one, he went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were well cared for, well exercised, and happy while we were away. He was incredibly attentive, detail oriented, and followed every instruction we left regarding their care. What impressed us the most was how quickly our dogs warmed up to him. Even though Jacob was a complete stranger to them at first, they took a liking to him almost immediately. His kind personality, gentle nature, and genuine love for animals made them feel comfortable and safe right away. It was clear from the start that he has a special connection with pets and truly enjoys caring for them. He kept us updated, paid close attention to their needs, and gave us complete peace of mind during our trip. Knowing our dogs were in such caring hands allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away. Hoping he enjoyed our dogs and continues to be our go to person! We will book with him always .

Emily is truly the best sitter we have had. I cannot express how much we (both humans and animal) have loved getting to know her and spend time with her. Your animals will always be taken care of and have a blast with Emily and I cannot recommend her enough!!!
