About: Taking care of 2 German-rottie mixes before sending them off to their forever home left me with a realization I’d never expected: dogs are so much better than humans. Since then, I’ve picked up dog walking for my current manager as well as the occasional dog-sitting for friends. I am currently working part-time but would love to take your dog(s) on a stroll to enjoy the morning air and feel the warmth of the rising sun. The latest requests I can take would be around 2/3PM. About: First time booking on Rover? Get $20 off! Hi! I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three Golden Retrievers, and they truly felt like part of the family. My most recent one recently passed after an illness, so opening my home to care for other dogs feels really special to me. I have experience caring for pets of friends and family, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, comfort, and a safe place to stay. My children also love having dogs around and are gentle and respectful, which helps create a warm, welcoming environment. We do have a Burmese cat in the home, but she has her own space and knows where to go if she prefers not to interact with dogs. Our home includes a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play, plus a kiddie pool for those hot days. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Your dog will be treated like family here—with love, patience, and attention. I work part-time from home, so I’m able to give plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My children are homeschooled and home most of the time, creating a calm, family-centered environment. We do leave occasionally for errands, church, or family events, but your dog will still have a consistent, loving, and supervised home most of the day. I also provide overnight boarding, so your dog will be safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play, and a calm, family environment with my two children who enjoy giving gentle attention and companionship. If a dog needs a little quiet time or separation, I do have an office space available. For dogs that require crating, I ask that you please provide your own crate so they can feel familiar and secure.

With over a decade of experience caring for dogs that need daily medication, I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and patient. I take time to play, comfort, and bond with each animal - not just to meet their needs, but to make sure they feel loved and secure. Just let me know how I can help! All summer I am FREE! During the school year I’m available for some Saturdays, all Sundays, and weekdays after 6-7 PM. I am a teacher! Whether you need an evening walk, weekend drop-in, or someone to spend a little extra time with your pets while you’re away, I’m happy to help whenever I can! When caring for pets in their own homes, I make sure they feel completely comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I follow each pet’s routine closely — feeding times, walks, medications, playtime, and cuddles — to keep everything as familiar as possible for them. I’m available for week day walks, drop-ins, and extended sitting, depending on what your pets need. I have over 10 years of hands-on experience giving medications to my own dogs (one of whom needs multiple meds daily), so I’m very comfortable administering pills, liquids, or injections if needed. Communication is a must for me. I will always let you know if something comes up, all I ask is the same from you! If we have clear communication from the start we will be just fine! Whether it’s walks around the block, belly rubs, backyard fetch sessions, or just sitting with them for comfort, I give every pet the same love and attention I give my own - Roscoe and Blue have taught me how much those little moments matter. My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.
