“This is our second time having Megan house/Dog sit for us. She does an incredible job! She is respectful of our home, has all the trash, keg, solo cups etc...picked up from her big notorious house parties she throws (as seen on insta 😉) JUST KIDDING!!!! About the house party not the being respectful thing! Our Blue is always happy the house is left as it was. We will continue to hire Megan as needed. You will not be dissatisfied having her stay with your fur baby. Thank you Megan for being AWESOME!”

“Tyler was great with our dogs! He is reliable and I appreciate him texting me before he offered a treat to our dog that is elderly and on a special diet. We will definitely book with him again!”

“We had such an amazing experience with Dani watching Laylah! She went above and beyond in every way and treated Laylah like she was her own. While we were away, Laylah unfortunately had a seizure, and Dani handled the situation with so much care, calmness, and compassion. She kept us updated the entire time, made sure Laylah was safe and comfortable, and truly gave us so much peace of mind during a very stressful moment. She also sent tons of updates, pictures, and messages throughout the stay, which made us feel so connected and reassured. It was obvious Laylah was getting so much love and attention. We are beyond grateful for her kindness, communication, and the level of care she provided. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring for their pets!”

“were gone, his communication was top tier. We got regular updates, sweet photos, and little check-ins about how the dogs were doing—even during a storm—which honestly made it so much easier to relax and enjoy our trip. And then we came home… and that’s where he really went above and beyond. Not only were the dogs happy and clearly well cared for, but the house was spotless—trash taken out, dishes done, floors cleaned, and he even washed his sheets/towels and remade the guest bed. I mean… who does that?! Corbin is thoughtful, reliable, and clearly takes a lot of pride in what he does. We’ll absolutely be booking him again and would recommend him without hesitation.”
“I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs in Ann’s care!! She kept me updated consistently and seemed to really care about my pups!! She also left the house in great condition. Can’t say enough good things about the experience!”

“First time for my pups to stay at home with a sitter. Flo was wonderful!! The pups had a great week with her. Flo made it easy for my family and I to enjoy our family vacation. I wasn’t worried at all! Communication was great! We came home to some happy pups. We’ll definitely be booking Flo again.”

“Kaylan did an amazing job with our somewhat difficult dog. She sent so many pictures and really eased our minds while we were traveling abroad! I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you, Kaylan!”
“Hope was so great to work with: she gave regular updates, the house was in good shape when we got back and most importantly, the doggos were happy and calm. We absolutely will have her help us in the future!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for 7 years and have cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and needs. I grew up with dogs and currently have a special-needs dog, giving me experience with medication schedules, extra care, and individualized routines. I treat every pet like my own and work to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I currently work part-time 2–3 days per week for about 4 hours each day, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive care for your pets. I have plenty of time in my schedule to make sure your pets receive the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, and household rules. I always make sure doors, gates, and fences are secure, keep a close eye on pets during outdoor time, and maintain a clean, safe environment. My goal is to provide dependable care while treating both your pets and your home with the same respect and attention I would give my own.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, whether they were my own or family members. I have experience in end of life care for senior and young dogs as well. I also know general first aid and CPR for adults, babies, and animals. I’m currently working a part time job but will be available a majority of most days (or all of some) to take care of your animals! I can drop by your home or walk your pet from early in the morning to late at night. I will always follow the owner’s instructions to a T. I will always be up to play with or walk your pet. I will give them all the love and treats they deserve (unless they are on a diet). I will never ignore their needs.
“Sandra did a great job taking care of our senior dog Zoe. Sandra is very easy to work with and worked well with our Alexa robots without getting intimidated. We would recommend Sandra wholeheartedly for your pet sitting needs!”

About: Since I was about 10 years old and had my first dog, a floppy Basset Hound named Happy, I have loved taking care of pets, especially dogs. Just like Happy received, I believe every dog deserves genuine care, attention and affection. I'll be sure to love on and give your dog special care, just like I did Happy. I work from home Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care for your dog, including walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of affection. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because I work from home during the week, your dog will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. I provide a calm, loving environment with regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, fresh water, and lots of affection and belly rubs. I follow each pet's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions. In your home, I'll treat both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would my own, keeping you updated with photos and messages so you have peace of mind while you're away.
“Brittany took care of our pup with no problems. We appreciate her communication and willingness to meet our pup before her stay. We also appreciate her being respectful to his schedule and keeping him active!”

“Allison was a fantastic sitter for our dog, Leo! She was reliable, communicative, and made sure Leo was well cared for while we were out of town. I really appreciated the updates and photos she sent throughout the stay—it gave us peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. We came home to a happy pup and would absolutely recommend Allison to anyone looking for a responsible and kind pet sitter!”

About: Since I was a young child I have had cats and dogs galore to watch since I was homeschooled. I also was paid to watch my grandparents 10 dogs and numerous catsl I myself have 2 beautiful cats named Binks and Yoda. I have always loved animals and will always keep your pet active! I am currently going to school at Tulsa welding school but I’ll only need 2 days out of the week to go to school at night which gives me plenty of time to keep your pets occupied! I always keep doors closed to places that might be harmful to your pet. And I will always follow your instructions to the letter because I understand that you have rules set in place for your pets. I also am really good at knowing when a pet is going to do something they’re not supposed to do and stop them accordingly.
“Sophia dog sat in our house over Memorial Day weekend & was fantastic!! She sent several updates and photos daily. She was super responsive and our doggies seemed to be happy in her care! She left our house in great condition. She even volunteered to let out the dogs again after leaving due to our flight being delayed. Would highly recommend her for any dog sitting or drop-in needs!!”

Megan did such an awesome job caring for my dog. She was kind, professional, helpful, on time, communicative and sent photos/updates during each visit. She has such a sweet demeanor that allowed my pet to be at ease while she was here. I highly recommend her and will def be using her again in the future!

This is our second time to have Kelly stay at our house for a week each time. She is just so fabulous. She takes the best pictures. She spends a lot of time at the house with Scooter and Booger, the cat, this time. She knows all of Scooter's favorite things. The best part this time was that we were flying out of state for my daughter's wedding, and our flight kept being delayed. I told Kelly I would text her when we were leaving. I totally forgot to do it until I was up in the air and couldn't get my text to send. Luckily, Kelly went on ahead and came over because she was worried when I wasn't responding to her texts. She took charge, and wanted to make sure all was well. It really puts my mind at ease knowing that she is so responsible. I highly recommend Kelly.

Olivia was absolutely amazing! 💕 She took care of our dogs while we were on vacation, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly sweet, responsive, and quick to communicate whenever we reached out. She truly put our dogs first, giving them so much love, care, and affection, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. 🐶❤️ She also did a wonderful job keeping us updated with pictures and messages, so we always knew our pups were happy and well cared for. On top of that, she treated our home with so much respect and took great care of everything.! I would 100% book with Olivia again for any future trips! If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, reliable, and who will love your pets like they’re her own, I highly recommend Olivia!

Allison was the perfect choice for our two small co-dependent dogs! I was anxious about leaving my teacup maltipoo for 8 days because she is literally the pickiest eater and has to be coaxed into mealtime. She had been losing weight after refusing to eat following vaccines the month prior to needing a dog sitter. Allison was patient with her, and when we returned home, our picky eater had filled out and actually gained some weight back! Our other clingy maltipoo was so much less anxious upon our return than she typically is when we leave for vacation as well. Allison left our home just as clean as it was when we left! We will definitely use Allison again (praying she is available) when we need to leave our fur babies again! Thank you so much Allison!

Jordan is a lovely, responsible young lady. I highly recommend her for pets and home care. Our go-to pet sitter had a last minute family emergency and cancelled. We were scheduled for a 10-day cruise. I randomly picked Jordan B, after reviewing her current recommendations. I requested that she overnight in our home for 10 days. She promptly responded with her availability, came to our home and met our fur babies, noted all my instructions for home maintenance, and was so nice. We returned home to find happy, healthy pets and a clean well maintained home. Thank you Jordan, you are awesome!

Kelsey was a great fit to stay with our senior dog Pennie. She was attentive to all of her needs and took great care of her. We were provided with daily updates and pictures of a very happy dog. Our trip was stress free as we knew Pennie was in great hands. Kelsey was very respectful of our home and it was very tidy when we got back. We would definitely have Kelsey back to watch our sweet Pennie.

FAQs for House Sitting - Keller
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Keller on Rover is $44.4 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 4,956 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Keller. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Keller walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Keller maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Keller choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Keller. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
