I was born an animal lover and have had pets of my own my whole life. Many of my pets were/are dogs, but I have also had cats as well as some exotic pets over the years, like frogs, lizards, turtles and a hedgehog. I have loved caring for animals of mine and others from a young age. My wife and I started our own house and pet sitting company many years ago as a branch off from another business. We love animals so much that we decided to change our diet to pescatarian (vegetarians that also eat seafood) in 2014, which we still are to this day. I am a licensed insurance adjuster in the state of Texas and I visit all sorts of properties from homes to farms, so I am always surrounded by animals of all types. As an adjuster, I have been background checked and fingerprinted through the state to obtain my license, which is still current to this day. My family and I love to travel and we plan our trips where we can see as much wildlife as possible. We have traveled the world seeing all the wonderful animals that abound. I have a fondness for birding as well. My wife calls me a bird nerd, but she has become almost as fascinated with birds as I have. I have 2 young sons who also love all things animals, they just can't get enough. I became a certified SCUBA diver in Cozumel in January 2020 to see even more of the beautiful animals of the sea. As travelers we know how stressful and expensive it can be to pay for someone to care for your animals while you are away. We try to keep our pet sitting rates reasonable so others can travel without breaking the bank hiring someone to watch the animals. I offer all types of sitting. I can come by just to let out and feed the animals one evening or I can watch your animals long term. I am very flexible. We are an active family and so are our animals. We love to go on family walks, plus I run, bike, hike and swim. Taking the dogs for a walk is no problem at all.
