Caring for your pet as my own!
I’ve taken care of animals my entire life. I grew up on a 600-acre farm in Ohio and raised farm animals in adulthood as well. Throughout the years, I’ve also raised, loved and cared for our own family dogs. One of our dogs, who is now in heaven, required daily medications and extra attentive care, so I understand the additional patience and attention senior dogs may need. My mom also has two cats that I absolutely adore, so I love my kitty clients too! A little about me; I’m a former Marine, my husband is a Police Officer, and we’re now college football parents with our son away at school. I provide pet care full-time through Rover, including boarding in my home as well as dog walks and drop-in visits. Because this is what I do full-time, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and am able to spend plenty of time with the dogs staying in my home. During the work week, I do have a few regular clients that I visit for midday walks and drop-ins, so I may occasionally be away from home for short periods during the day. Otherwise, I’m home quite a bit and love having my boarding pups here with me! For the safety and comfort of everyone, I do require a meet & greet before accepting any new boarding guests. This gives us a chance to make sure your pup is comfortable in my home and that we’re a good fit before their stay. I’m a nurturer in all areas of my life, and I truly care for every animal as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your pets, so I make communication a priority and love sending plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away. Caring for animals genuinely brings me joy, and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to do this full-time! ❤️

Libby took excellent care of our Moosey boy. Our dog is a large breed with a lot of energy. She kept him busy and tired him out each day with walks and lots of play time. She makes your dog feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they enter her home.
Libby was great with my dog Raider! She was very communicative from the initial meet and greet through the entire stay and sent multiple picture and video updates each day. She was also very thoughtful about introducing Raider to another dog in her home and made sure they were comfortable together. She took Raider on walks, gave him plenty of attention, and gave me some really helpful feedback when I picked him up. I especially appreciated her suggestions on a few things I can continue working on since Raider is still fairly new to me. I felt very comfortable having him stay with Libby and would definitely book with her again!
Libby is an angel. This is the second time she has taken care of our babies while we were out of the country. Knowing she is here brings a peace of mind that I cannot that l her for enough. She does so much for our pets to make them feel loved while we are away and it allows us to take a deep breath and enjoy our trip. She sends wonderful messages every time she visits with photos of all the kids and lets us know how things are around the house as well. We’re so grateful to her. She’s just part of the family.

Libby went above and beyond for me and my pets during our check in visits. I love the feedback I get of my pups after the visits and appreciate her playing fetch with them every time so they can expel some energy. She far exceeded any expectations I had and will book her for all of my future pet sitting needs.

Schedule
Pet care is my full-time job, so my schedule is centered around the pets in my care. I’ve been doing this full-time for almost four years and offer boarding, walks and drop-in visits. When I have boarding guests, I’m home much of the day, although I do have a few regular clients I visit for midday walks and drop-ins during the work week. This gives me lots of flexibility to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime and love throughout the day!

I have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for supervised outside time, along with a great neighborhood for walks. I’m happy to crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, and I do my best to maintain the schedule and rules they’re accustomed to at home. For the safety and comfort of everyone, I require a meet & greet before accepting any new boarding guests. This gives us a chance to make sure your pup is comfortable in my home and that we’re a good fit before their stay.
A typical day
Every day is based on the individual needs and routine of the pets in my care. Boarding pups get lots of attention, supervised backyard time, potty breaks, playtime and walks as appropriate. Some dogs want to play and be busy, while others are perfectly happy curling up next to me and relaxing! I want my home to feel like their home away from home, so I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, sleeping and exercise routines as closely as possible.

Please let me know about their normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, fears or triggers, sleeping habits and any special needs or quirks I should know about. For boarding guests, I also like to know how they do with other dogs, whether they’re crate trained, how they do when left alone for short periods and anything else that will help them feel safe and comfortable while they’re away from home. ❤️
