I work from home, so someone is always home! I have 2 kiddos that love to help out too. We are an early morning family, so typically up before 6 - but we do go to bed by 10. My daughter likes dogs to sleep with her if they are willing! But we also have kennels if that is what they are used to. Most of the time, they sleep on dog beds (you can bring yours, or we have some).

We treat our houseguests like our own dog! We don't have restricted spaces for them (unless they have frequent accidents, then we try to keep them in a smaller space). I am able to feed them on their normal schedule (our dog eats between 6-8 am and 4-6 pm).

I like to know the dogs routine, where they sleep, specifics on how much food and when they eat. Also, their likes and dislikes. Timeliness is important to me. If you are not able to drop off/pick up at scheduled times, please let me know asap. Sometimes this can interfere with picking the kids up from school or hosting a meet and greet. Please bring your dogs food. I don't like to give a dog a different food as it can cause tummy issues.
A typical day
We do go on walks when it is not too hot. My dog loves to play fetch and play - so they get lots of exercise.

I am especially adamant about keeping pet owners up to date on how their pet is doing in my care. I am pretty flexible with drop off/pick up, but ask you to be respectful with times (not before 6 am or after 9 pm). I want your pet to be as comfortable as possible. I do have several sizes kennels if your pet feels safer sleeping in one at night or if they need one if left alone during the day. We have a park 2 streets over that we walk to. I am also comfortable with older dogs that may have special needs (diapers, injections, medication, etc.) Please feel comfortable asking any questions or talking to me about requests. I can usually be available on short notice. I rarely will accept more than 3 dogs at a time, so rest assured your pet won't be overwhelmed!
