I’ve cared for animals at every life stage—from newborn puppies and kittens to senior pets requiring extra patience, monitoring, and gentle care. I am comfortable with feeding routines, habitat maintenance, medication administration, and providing loving companionship tailored to each animal’s needs. What Sets Me Apart What sets me apart is my ability to confidently care for many different types of pets and adapt to each animal’s unique needs. I have experience with basic puppy training, including leash manners, crate training, and reinforcing commands. I also provide attentive senior pet care, such as mobility assistance, medication reminders, and closely monitoring changes in behavior or health. Sharolyn was the perfect pet sitter. My 19 year old cat had special needs and they were no problem for Sharolyn. I was so happy to meet her. I could tell that she really loved animals and that made me feel good about leaving town. No worries. She also has such a nice personality and is easy to talk to.
Sharolyn is wonderful! She has taken care of our dogs on multiple occasions over the past two years. They love her and she takes great care of them. I never have to worry about the dogs when we are away if Sharolyn is taking care of them.
Sharolyn Ervin did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of my parakeets, Sprite and Glacier. From the very beginning, she was attentive, kind, and clearly comfortable caring for birds. Parakeets can be delicate and routine-oriented, and Sharolyn made sure all their needs were met while keeping them calm and happy. I really appreciated the updates and the peace of mind knowing Sprite and Glacier were in such good hands. I came home to two content, well-cared-for birds and a clean space. Schedule
I’m a teacher who offers pet care part-time during the school year, with availability in the early mornings, evenings, and on weekends. When I’m on school breaks, I’m available for full-time, 24/7 care. Caring for pets is something I intentionally build into my daily and weekly routine.
