“Willy is an outstanding dog sitter. He is patient, trustworthy, and always on time. Since he is studying to become a veterinarian, he truly understands dogs and gives them the time they need to feel comfortable. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about their well-being. My dogs are very comfortable with Willy, and I feel completely confident leaving them in his care.”

About: My experience hasn’t been too expansive, I’ve taken care of my sisters dog for a few weeks at a time. Worked on a ranch for a while, and housesat with a family friends cat for a couple days. To be honest, I like animals. If there was an option to babysit horses goats or other interesting animals I’d probably sign up for it! While I’m doing college remote and helping my family business, I can work fully online and I’m flexible with hours. If you need me there with a strange schedule or only stopping by a few times, that’s fine with me. I can fit to your schedule, whenever you aren’t able to! My primary intention is to respect your house, and your pets! If it’s no dogs inside I’ll keep it that way, or no shoes on carpet, you tell me and I’ll follow it to a T.
“Hope was amazing! She took great care of my dog and cat while we were on vacation. She stayed in communication if she had issues or questions. I have an anxious dog, and she took extra steps to make sure he would enjoy her visits. She always sent a few pics and an update on how the visit went. I highly recommend and will definitely use Hope again!”

“I cannot recommend Libby enough!! She took such great care of our dogs and played with them and sent the cutest videos and photos! She watched them for a week and was on time every time and followed the instructions perfectly! Would highly recommend and will definitely be using her again :)”

About: I have had animals my entire life and especially love dogs. I already watch dogs and house sit for personal clients so figured I would try this out too. I have also trained dogs. Sit, speak, stay, whisper, shake etc. I am a real estate agent who works completely remote. I do not have any pets at the moment so my schedule is completely open to help out. I personally do not have any pets and am not allowed to have them in my apartment. I would prefer not to stay overnight at a clients home, I would like to just do walks and check ins. Am open to negotiations if there were a pet that needed special care of course.
“Ashley was awesome ! She took care of my two cats and did such a fantastic job, I definitely would recommend her for anyone who needs a loving and caring pet sitter! Thank you so much Ashely! I’ll definitely be reaching out in the near future! ☺️”

“Annabelle took wonderful care of my cat Pookie this weekend. Knowing Pookie was safe, happy & well looked after gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. Annabelle was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept me updated with photos & texts & it’s obvious Pookie was comfortable and well cared for in her hands. I highly recommend Annabelle to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. I will absolutely be using her services again in the future! 🐾💕”

“Cori is amazing!! She is very communicative and efficient. Her care is second to none. I feel very secure knowing Cori is caring for my sweet fur baby. 12/10!! 5 ⭐️’s!!”

“My cat is so shy that he hid out for the first few days before he ventured out. Tracy was there morning & evening to check on him as well as feed, water &,clean his litter boxes. She never gave up trying to win him over. She got my mail & watered my outdoor plants in addition to her "cat duties". She was a real lifesaver. I will definitely use her again & would highly recommend her.”

“Sandra had been amazing! I had knee surgery and needed someone to help with Nyx's daily walks. Sandra took care of early mornings. She was always on time and Nyx was excited to see her each morning. I will definitely use Sandra's services again in the future!”

“Absolutely amazing! Kaylan is fantastic! She made our first ever vacation without the dogs stress-free and peaceful. So grateful! She went above and beyond and she even watered my flowers! Thank you Kaylan!”

“Christie was amazing! It was our first time using this service so we were very nervous. She made us feel at ease with constant communication and pictures of our babies. Thank you!”

“Kristen took the time and care to make sure my kitties were okay. She spent time with my girls to make sure they ate, got some socialization, and were gelling on their own. I would recommend Kristen for all pet sitting needs. She has been a god-send and I am so grateful for her services.”

“Zoe did a fantastic job taking care of our baby!! We will definitely hire her again. Our dog loved her and was the most happy and well cared for that she has ever been when we’ve been out of town.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Southlake. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
