Your dog will be part of our family
I have had dogs my entire life...and guinea pigs, gerbils, birds, and cats! My family loves animals, and your pet will be spoiled and loved on while in our home. I have been to pet training classes, and I have a fenced yard to run in and a great neighborhood with sidewalks to walk in. I am a private music teacher who works in my home afternoons and evenings during the school year, and all day in the summer. I try to keep just one pet at a time, so they will receive plenty of attention and love. I just got an elderly female miniature dachshund who has a bad back, so she may not do well with dogs who are super high energy and will want to include her in their big play. She will probably hurt herself again.

Schedule
I work outside the home half the day, and then I teach at home the other half a day, so I'm here with the dogs in the afternoons and evenings. I try to keep the dog in the same routine they are accustomed to at home, with the same sleeping and eating arrangements.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a tall fenced yard for your dog to play in. I want the dogs to stay as close to their normal routine as possible, so if they are used to being crated, I am happy to keep them crate-trained. If they sleep next to your bed or in a separate room, I will do the same.
Pets
A typical day
I live near a pond, and it's a great place to go for walks and smells. My backyard also is a fun and safe space to play games and chase squirrels.
