About: I have loved and cared for our family black lab when I was 16. Now I have an 8 year old Cavapoo who is my world! I love taking care of our neighbors dogs. Walks, playing, even just sitting with them I know means so much to them! I currently have a kindergartner and volunteer with bible studies during the week. But I’m typically wide open Monday-Friday 7:45-2:30. As soon as I drop off my kid and get to her school in time for pick up, I’m available for dog time! I have created my dog, but now with older age, he has access to our house. I have a fully gated backyard with tons of room to roam. Every family that I have cared for has been fenced in. And a schedule is always helpful whether they need walks, play time, potty time, treat time, and feeding time.

About: I have raised 3 Yorkies. 1 silky and 2 toy yorkies. I am also former owner of a small tech dog site doesn’t exist anymore but that’s how much I love pets it was a social media site for dog lovers. I am very trustworthy and care very much. I’m free 7 days a week early mornings and evenings. I am also available overnight with 1 day notice. I’m flexible. I love birds, cats and dogs. I am available daily. I’d prefer a days notices but I’m very flexible. Can do overnights at clients home. I care about my job and I make sure I do a good job and have good constant communication to get you updated on your pet.

About: Hello, my name is Dana, and I absolutely love caring for and being around pets. I live in Watauga and have been pet sitting off and on since 2014. I know how hard it is to leave your fur-babies all day while you work or run errands. Daytime play dates can make a huge difference in their mental enrichment and help curb bad behaviors. In my home your pup will get plenty of love and playtime and while you get peace of mind updates throughout the day. I can’t wait to meet you! On weekends, your pet and I will hang out together all day. Weekdays, I work outside the home full time, so they will be alone during daytime hours. If your pet is ok to lounge around the house while I'm gone, thats fine with me. Or I have a large crate if needed. I have a fenced yard and we will hang out outside to play as much as your pet would like. They will also be allowed on the couch if they want. I love to snuggle!

About: I am Svenja, or Anthea and I am certified in animal care according to the standards of Germany and the European Union. And as long as I can think I have loved to care for animals. What does that mean? It means I have successfully completed a 3 year apprenticeship and passed the final exams in animal care, which consists of a full time position as a trainee in a state acknowledged animal shelter as well as school classes on basics of medical care for animals, animal rights (EU standards), basic dog training and proper enrichment and species appropriate care and enclosure conditions, to name a few. I also received education and training for farm animals and rodents. During my work at the animal shelter I have raised many litters of orphaned kittens as well as cared for pets with disabilities, seniors and pups of all kinds. I have experience in administering medications such as insulin and assisted our vet during examinations. I have also worked with rodents, birds, reptiles and aquatic life. After my time at the shelter I worked in a dog day care where I supervised large groups of dogs, formed play groups based on the different dogs character, energy level and play style and provided owners with reports about unusual behaviors or possible health or training related concerns. Please note that I am not a vet or vet tech, and therefore am not able to make any final diagnosis. If I notice symptoms or other reasons for concern during my time with your pet I will always communicate it with you and if deemed appropriate, seek out a vet for a proper examination! I do have a full time job, my hours are usually either 7am-3:30pm or occasionally 10am-6:30pm, which means I am available in the afternoon, evening and during nighttime for walks and drop ins. I am open to do housesitting during my work days as well as long as you and your pet are confident, they will be fine unsupervised during my work time, or you have arrangements for another supervisor whilst I'm gone. (dog daycare, family member, drop in/walk sitter...) If someone else will be in your home while I am gone please ensure that I am aware of the times they will be there and provide me with a way to contact them, so we can ensure the best care for your pet. I am also rather flexible with my days off as long as you notify me ahead of time in case you need full 24hour (or longer) supervised care for your pet, just let me know! I have several years of experience working for animal shelters and dog daycares, and owned both cats and dogs myself during most of my life. When it comes to training a pet I work with positive reinforcement. For one on one time with your pet I adjust my approach depending on the animals demands. I generally keep it calm and remain approachable however I do not force contact or cuddles onto an animal that wants to keep to itself. Whenever your pet decides it feels ready to approach me I will happily shower it with affection but it will always be on their terms (unless necessary medication is involved).

I also respect your home by keeping everything clean, tidy, and exactly how you left it. In my home (if you plan to offer this): If a pet stays in my home, they receive constant attention as pet care is my full-time work. I provide a calm, smoke-free environment and make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to relax. Pets get regular bathroom breaks, structured feeding times, and lots of love and engagement throughout the day. My goal in either setting is to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for, and to give owners complete peace of mind.

I work from home and my pet care is apart of my daily routine.
