“Kate was absolutely awesome with my dog and cat while we were away. She expertly dealt with an unexpected broken fence as well as a cat health situation. Can't wait to use her again!”

“Chelsea did a great job taking care of our cat. I loved getting the photos every day. She responded quickly to my messages too. And I can tell my cat really liked her because many of the photos she looked relaxed next to her. Will definitely have Chelsea care for kitty next time we need someone!”

“Annabelle was the best sitter! I was so nervous leaving our dogs for a week, as we have never left them for that long of a period of time. They stayed at our house, and Annabelle came 3x a day and sent me tons of pictures. It was so reassuring to see that they were always happy and smiling and wagging their tails upon her arrival. I left lots of directions, and she followed them perfectly. I found that I didn't have to worry one bit about them because Annabelle went above and beyond in caring for our dogs. I would absolutely recommend Annabelle to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter!”

“Lizzy was Absolutely Amazing! She took such great care of my dog and treated him like her own. I had complete peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Lizzy to anyone looking for a Caring, Eeliable & Great person. She's simply the BEST! ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Sandra had been amazing! I had knee surgery and needed someone to help with Nyx's daily walks. Sandra took care of early mornings. She was always on time and Nyx was excited to see her each morning. I will definitely use Sandra's services again in the future!”

About: I have always had a way with animals, even the ones that don't typically like new people. I love animals, I have 5 of my own, 3 dogs (varying in age from 4 to 12) and 2 cats (both 9). I have experience with animals varying from puppies/kittens to seniors. This has given me invaluable insights into the needs and behaviors of different pets, allowing me to provide exceptional care tailored to each unique companion. I also fully understand that your pet is like your baby, and I will treat them as if they were my own. I believe in creating a positive environment that fosters the overall well-being of every pet. Through patience, understanding, and a compassionate approach, I aim to establish a bond of trust with every pet I care for. This enables me to address their individual needs and preferences, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved throughout their time with me. When you entrust your beloved fur baby to my care, you can rest assured knowing that they will receive the utmost love, attention, and exceptional care they deserve. I am available for dog walks or drop-ins anytime between 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM Monday - Friday. My time on the weekends will vary, but I am sure we can work something out! I love animals and treat them as if they are my babies. I will do the same for yours! I will always be on time and ready for walks, and ensure that your dog or cat is safe and comfortable.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds since childhood from fish to reptiles, cats and dogs, and even horses. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for pets with different needs, personalities, and energy levels. I’m currently in the process of becoming a certified service animal trainer, which has given me advanced skills in handling, training, and understanding animal behavior. Along the way, I’ve also completed multiple animal care courses that taught me best practices in safety, health, and enrichment. I’m here to not only grow my resume but to show love to all the animals I take care of and be their new friend 🐶🐱 I’m usually available for any time/day of the week. I am unable to do over nights and boarding. I can stay with your pet up to 1 hour a day The first thing I do when entering a home is check that everything looks safe and normal since the time you left, doors secure, no hazards on the floor, and your pets are comfortable. I strictly follow your preferences and routines, because I know consistency helps pets feel secure. If one pet requires a different routine care than the other, I make sure each one gets the attention they need. I’ll keep you updated so you always know how things are going
“Jessica watched my senior cat while I was on vacation and was fantastic! She sent pictures and was punctual with her visit times! I highly recommend Jessica and will use her for future visits :)”

“Kiersten was the perfect match for our 15 year old Sadie girl! We were so worried about leaving her for two weeks but after speaking with Kiersten, it eased all our worries. I highly recommend her and 100% will be using her services again in the very near future!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for a few years now through a different service and have had my own pets my whole life! I love animals of all kinds and I value having a job where I get to meet new animal friends all the time. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats (I even once cared for a bearded dragon!), all sizes and breeds. I currently have 3 cats but have had dogs in the past, my last dog lived to 19 years old so I have experience caring for senior pets. I have my own business that I run from home so my schedule is quite flexible. I have teenagers that require some pick ups and drop offs during the school year but they’re pretty independent at this age so that helps my flexibility! For dog visits I always make sure your fur babies get time outside, I can do walks or let them out in a yard depending on your preference. I of course can feed them and make sure they have fresh water and am comfortable with most pet medications if that’s required. With cat visits I prioritize making sure fresh water and food are available and that their litter is clean. I’m always excited when cat clients let me love on them but I understand that sometimes new people can cause them anxiety. I’m flexible and take my cues from my kitty clients about what they’re comfortable with! I don’t mind getting mail or putting out trash if you’re out of town along with my visits and I love sending pics of your pet if you’d like! I know it can be hard to leave them, especially for a few days at a time.
“Mia did such an amazing job watching our 3 cats when we went away for a long weekend. She took pictures so I could see my fur babies while gone and followed all instructions perfectly, and goodness knows I err on the side of too many details. She was also able to get one of cats to take her daily medicine even though our kitty did not make it easy by hiding under the bed for the first couple of times Mia came by. I felt instantly so much more comfortable after Mia's first visit and I knew my cats were in good hands. I will definitely be asking Mia in the future to watch the babies again when needed.”

“Hailey was very communicative and caring to our pups! She played with the dogs, administered pills every morning and even took our trash to the curb! Thank you Hailey!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Flower Mound
Lynn has cat-sit for us multiple times now and also keeps our dog in her home. She let's us know if anything is going on at the house (like the power is out) and will bring in any unexpected deliveries. I appreciate all her communication and will continue to try to use her services for both of our pets 😊

Lily went above and beyond to make sure my two girls were happy and well cared for while I was away. She sent daily photos of my cats, which brought me so much joy to see them eating, playing and relaxing with her. After a long 10 day trip and a 13 hour flight, I came home completely stress free knowing Lily had recently cleaned their litter box and fed them dinner. I highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs, especially if you have a shy cat. I was genuinely surprised to see my normally shy kitty asking for belly rubs and coming up for attention in her daily photos. Lily's background in vet med put me at ease in case one of my cats caused trouble while away. I will be booking again next time I have a long trip. 10 out of 10 stars!!!!!

Annie is the best! She’s done drop in visits for my kitty while I’m out of town for the holidays the past few years and she puts my mind at ease every time I book. So nice, communicative, and love the pics she sends. My shy kitty loves her. Highly recommend as always!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
