About: I’ve been around pets all my life! I’ve never lived in a house that did not have a dog or cat present, and it just doesn’t feel like home without one! I’m currently an owner of a 7 year old (still a baby!) cat myself, but I frequently pet sit and stay overnight for family members, as well. I also helped foster a friend’s cat for 2 years until she was able to take him home again.

I have been pet sitting in people's homes for nearly 20 years now, and have worked professionally with animals for many years. Dogs to Hedgehogs and snakes, tell me how to best care for your pets and I will exceed your expectations. I have watched over nursing puppies in shelters, and senior dogs in veterinary care and boarding, so I have experience with animals with anxiety and giving medications. I am on summer break from work at a local school, so your little ones will have my full attention. I do have a few 2/3 hr events two evenings a week, but I will be available for any pets in training, or who may need more frequents outdoor breaks. Because I understand that for many pets, consistency is very important, I try to stick as close to your regular walk/outside schedules as possible to make sure routines are kept just that*. Since every animal is different, I will let your pet lead the way with how much attention/ what kind of enrichment they like. I don't mean to brag, but my belly rubs are the bark of the town my neighborhood. **With the summer heat, I expect any walks taken will be very early or as the sun is setting so their paws are protected.

About: Hi there! My husband and I have 3 kids (8-13) and 1 sweet pup. We have both had dogs our whole lives. My daughter started a pet sitting and boarding business several years ago for friends and family, and we've all fallen in love with it, so we decided to give Rover a shot! Our dog, Piper, loves having new friends to play with, we joke that she loves pet boarding more than we do! Our kids are homeschooled, and my husband works from home, so someone is nearly always here and ready for some playtime! We have a 6 year old mixed breed rescue pup (German shepherd/cattle dog is out best guess) who is living her best life when we have other pups come to visit. Our yard is large and fenced, with plenty of space to run and play. Our home is two stories, and pets are allowed to roam wherever they please! We do request that a crate be provided for the few times we will be away from home, and to give your pup their own space. Even the best playdates occasionally need a break, and we want your pet to feel like they have a place that's just for them!

About: I cannot remember a time in my life when dogs were not around. As soon as I graduated college, I began volunteering with a no-kill shelter in Austin, Texas. Volunteering at the shelter quickly expanded to becoming a dog foster. At the time, I did not have dogs of my own, so I was the perfect candidate to foster long-stay dogs as well as dogs with behavior and medical issues. My first foster was a tiny puppy recovering from Parvo. It was one of the toughest and most rewarding dog experiences of my life! Fostering dogs with behavior issues gave me the opportunity to participate in several training courses and programs. One of those dogs even inspired a dog-empowerment non-profit organization (Dogs Out Loud) -- she was also the logo! After several years of working with this dog, she became my last foster dog...because we adopted her! We introduced another dog into our home a few years later and it was a constant work in progress (and training) to keep those two in each other's good graces. Both of those babes have since crossed the rainbow bridge. We currently foster through DFW Lab Rescue because we are not ready to adopt, but as mentioned above, I can't imagine a home with no dog. My journey with dogs has allowed me to meet a wide range of unique creatures with unique needs, giving me the confidence to handle all types of dog situations. I work from home and am able to tend to pets all throughout the day. I love interacting with animals and I try to work them into any part of my day that is possible. I have also pet sat for my neighbors, family members, and friends. there’s nothing I love more than this world and animals and I love getting to take care of them. I’m currently working a part-time job. My hours stay pretty consistent but if you have specific times for drop ins definitely let me know and I can work around that. Other than work I’m not in school at the moment so have a bit more free time for frequent drop ins Depending on where I’m asked to be in my own house I have a nice yard that your animals can play in in a very sturdy fence. If it’s at your house, I love to take animals outside for a little while so they can spend some time getting fresh air and just getting to run around. I love playing fetch or tug-of-war and I love giving pets.

About: I did Rover back in college and stopped to fully focus on my masters degree. I have graduated and am looking to make and save some extra money while I'm job searching for my career!! I have two large dogs, Mason, an unknown mixed breed at 10 years old, and Milee a german shepherd at 7 years old. I raised them both from 3 months old and are both very well behaved, so I have experience with puppies all the way to large dogs. I am extremely active since I used to be a college athlete. If your dog needs to let out a lot of energy, I can run with your dog instead of walking if that's what you prefer! Any money I make is being saved for my future so it is much appreciated! I currently don't have any commitments for the mornings and afternoons. Will update my schedule if so! I go to the gym around 3:30-4:00 PM so I am available all morning and afternoon to walk your dogs! My pets are reaching seniority so they are pretty easy going and well trained. They are good with other dogs but I am only doing dog walking so they shouldn't be crossing paths unless I started the doggy day care. Maybe later on!
