About: Growing up on a ranch, I was responsible for the daily care of dogs, cats, horses, goats, and cattle, which helped me develop strong animal-handling skills, patience, and an understanding of animal behavior. Animals have always been part of my everyday life. I focus on providing quality care and attention to your furry friends. Pet care is a natural part of my routine alongside my equine farrier apprenticeship. Although my schedule may change from week to week, I carefully manage my availability and only take on bookings where I can give each pet my full attention and priority. I am committed to following each client’s instructions and routine, and to being respectful, careful, and safe while caring for your pet in your home.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 13. I love spending time with dogs and cats. I make sure their owners are at peace knowing that their pets are having a great time at home. Many friends, neighbors, and Rover clients have relied on me to care for their pets while they were away and have been highly satisfied with my services. I have open availability to make sure that your pets are well taken care of. I have lots of time to give them attention and scratches. I can take your dogs on walks or play with them in your yard or house. I will closely follow the care instructions that are left for your pets to make sure they are happy and healthy while you are away.
About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs since I was little. I grew up having dogs and cats of all temperaments in the home. I am very active so I am definitely able to handle high energy animals as well as moderate and low energy animals. I like to stick to a schedule so if you like your pet to have routine I am more than willing to work with them! Older animals, anxious animals, hyper animals, I have experience with them all so trust that your furry (or not so furry) babies will be in good hands! I am currently doing Rover as a side hustle as I am in between jobs since moving here so I am available whenever you need me! My animals get regular affection, just about every hour on the hour by their request! I give potty breaks every 1-2 hours as well as plenty of exercise and play throughout the day to keep them enriched and engaged!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover, educator, and dependable caregiver who understands that pets are family. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and loving home where your dog will feel comfortable while you’re away. As a teacher, patience, responsibility, and attention to detail are part of who I am. I bring those same qualities to caring for every pet. Whether your dog enjoys playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing with lots of affection, I’ll tailor their care to fit their routine and personality. I believe in keeping pet parents informed, so you can expect regular updates and photos during your dog’s stay. I know how reassuring it is to know your pet is happy and well cared for. My home is a peaceful environment, and I treat every dog like one of my own. Before boarding, I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet so we can make sure it’s the perfect fit for everyone. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work full-time as a teacher Monday through Friday. On weekdays, I leave home around 6:45 a.m. and return by approximately 4:30 p.m. Because of this, I am best suited for dogs that are comfortable being home without a human during the school day. I have two dogs of my own that could be your pet’s company. I also have cameras that helped me keep an eye on the dogs. Outside of work, I’m home for the evenings and provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and affection. On weekends, I’m typically home most of the day, allowing for lots of companionship and quality time with your pet. I’m committed to maintaining your dog’s normal routine as much as possible and will provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in good hands. Every dog is different, so I like to tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and the owner’s preferences. Before each stay, we’ll discuss your dog’s routine, sleeping arrangements, exercise needs, and any special instructions so I can provide care that’s as close to home as possible. I have a secure, fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time. My home also has a dog door that can be opened or closed depending on what’s safest and most appropriate for your dog. If your dog is crate trained, I have dog kennels available and am happy to follow your normal crate routine, including during the school day if that’s what they’re accustomed to. If your dog is not crate trained, we’ll discuss the best option to ensure they’re safe and comfortable while I’m at work. My priority is always your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being. On evenings and weekends, I’m home to provide plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and affection.

About: The Key Word is Patience, when you first meet an animal you must be calm and patient. Over the years one learned that once an animal realized you're not a threat you quickly become part of the pack. I've raise dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hampsters. All lived and are living Long, Healthy, and Active lives. Proper medication and on time administered is important and I will ensure that it's done to you and your vets specifications. I work from home so I'm pretty flexible sorting the week to ensure adequate time is dedicated to the care of mine and your pets. I prefer to do a home visit prior to the first sitting or walking visit, to get an idea of the environment you're pet is a custom to as well as their routine. This also gives me and your pet a chance to have a brief meet and greet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
