About: I have taken care of dogs full time for 23 years. I owned and ran a family owned kennel for 22 years where I offered breeding, whelping and obedience and protection training. I have loved dogs since I was a little girl and I have never had a period in my life where I did not have a dog. I work full-time at home (remote). I am home all day meaning I can be with your baby. I look forward to watching your baby! My home is pet friendly and I have several kennels and dog beds in my home. I also have easy access to a very nice, clean, controlled dog park.
“Brianna was great and very accommodating. She provided great communications throught the week and we could tell our companions were well taken care of. We really enjoyed the numerous photos to allow us tobsee how well they were doing. Our minds were certainly at ease allowing us to enjoy our time away from home. Thanks Brianna!”

“Kristen did an amazing job checking in on our dog. She was great with communicating when she was coming and leaving. She also sent pictures at each check in. I highly recommend Kristen for watching your pet. We will be going back to Kristen if ever in need :)”
“Melany was fantastic! She was attentive to our pups and provided nice updates and photos from her visits. I am also familiar with giving dogs any medication if needed.

About: I grew up raising all kinds of animals in 4-H. Today I currently have chickens and a dog. I have a long history of caring for animals and the eye to notice if something might not be right/normal. I’m currently going to school, so taking your dog for a walk will be my much needed study break 😎. It benefits both them and me. I will pick up after myself as I come in and out and make sure things are safe for your pet before leaving your home.

About: As an incoming 3rd year veterinary student at Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine, I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, aquatic species, and large animals. My background gives me the knowledge to recognize health concerns, provide attentive care, and keep your pets safe and comfortable. I’m also comfortable with pets that need extra patience, specialized care, or detailed routines. Since I’m on summer break, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I also spend a few days each week working in an animal clinic, which helps me continue building my hands-on veterinary experience while staying actively involved in animal care. I strive to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention while you’re away. In your home, I’ll make sure your pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive walks/playtime, medications if needed, and lots of love and supervision. I also keep owners updated with regular photos and messages so you can feel confident your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for in their familiar environment.
“Kayla was WONDERFUL! It was our first time doing a drop-in visit, and she really eased my anxiety. She played with my girl, sat with her and gave her all cuddles and treats. Will be going back to her for SURE!”

“As always Hilary is professional, kind, considerate and comforting when I have to leave my furbies behind while I travel until I return. This was the first time I’ve ever done drop in visits and was nervous leaving the kitties by themsvles but she took very good care of them while calming my separation anxieties. She’s awesome, five stars every time!”

About: Hello! My name is jewel and I attend Spelman College where I am a biology major on the pre-vet med track. I love animals and work part-time at a boarding and daycare facility. I have lots of experience taking care of pets including walking, feeding, analyzing behaviors, and spending quality time. I aspire to be a veterinarian and I adore all animals. I’m currently working part-time at a boarding and daycare facility, which gives me additional time to provide pet sitting and dog walking services. My work schedule varies throughout the week, but my shifts are typically from 6:15 AM to 1:00 PM. This allows me to be available for pet care in the afternoons, evenings, and on many days throughout the week. Because I already work with animals professionally, caring for pets fits naturally into my schedule and daily routine. I won’t be caring for pets in my home due to limited space but I look forward to caring for your animals where they are most comfortable/home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Midlothian with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
