Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine! On weekdays, I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks before work and again after 4:00 p.m. Since I work a consistent first-shift schedule (7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.), you can count on reliable availability. My weekends are Sunday and Monday, when I have much more flexibility for visits and walks throughout the day.

I’ll follow your care instructions closely, whether that’s feeding, refreshing water, administering approved medications, cleaning litter boxes, potty breaks, playtime, or simply spending quality time with your pet. During walks, I pay close attention to each dog’s body language, the environment, weather conditions, and any potential hazards. I use positive reinforcement and never force a pet into situations that make them uncomfortable. Please let me know about their normal routine, favorite activities, personality, medical needs, medications, fears or triggers, leash manners, and any quirks or behaviors I should be aware of. I also appreciate knowing what motivates them—whether it’s treats, toys, or affection—and any commands they know. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while providing safe, attentive care that fits their individual needs.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor each visit to their personality and energy level. Most dogs enjoy a neighborhood walk, a game of fetch, tug-of-war, custom enrichment, or simply seeing someone to pay attention to them. Felines enjoy interactive play with their favorite toys, napping on a warm lap, treats, or just checking basics and respecting their space. My goal is to make each visit more than just a quick stop. I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, mental stimulation, and affection they need while maintaining the routine they’re comfortable with. Every visit ends with fresh water, plenty of love, and an update with photos so you know exactly how your furry family member is doing.

I’ve had the privilege to care for animals professionally for over 20 years in the zoo field. My work has given me extensive experience reading animal behavior and providing patient, low-stress care tailored to each individual’s needs. While my career includes working with a wide variety of species, I genuinely love spending time with dogs and cats. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or just likes things done a certain way, I’ll take the time to get to know them and make each visit a positive experience. I’m comfortable caring for puppies and kittens, senior pets, multi-pet households, and administering many oral medications.
