About: I have quite a bit of experience when it comes to caring for animals. I’ve personally taken care of my own dogs as well as family members. I can feed, bathe, walk, administer medication, and complete whatever duties needed to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable. I have experience in caring for puppies and senior dogs. I’ve also earned my certification to be a Veterinary Assistant. Im currently not employed full time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am currently enrolled in my 1st year of Vet Tech school, but it will not affect me being able to work for rover. I have a fenced in backyard that is secure for my pets. I make sure that there’s nothing on the ground that can harm my pets. I keep a close eye on my pets while they are outside whether it’s to play or potty. I also have cameras for extra security. I plan to care for my clients pets like they are my own. If I’m visiting a clients home I would follow those same safety precautions.

About: I have taken care of many dogs through out my years from small chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees. I currently own a German Shepherd, Blue Heeler and two Great Pyrenees that I love with all my heart. I have experience with many breeds and also with training dogs. I can potty train them and teach them a few discipline skills like sit and stays and also teach them funny tricks. I have always loved animals and I want to use this opportunity to experience more with animals as a future veterinarian. I believe becoming a dog sitter will help me have more experience with getting to know different dogs. I honestly believe this will be a fun experience to meet new people and their beloved pets.

About: About me: I have time & quality care to give to the pet(s) you love while walking or pet/house sitting because I'm an online college student. I have 22 years of dog, cat and other pet care experience to include pet walking, training, transporting, vet visits & pet/house sitting listed in detail below. I'm starting in the job field of Animal Behavior on completion of my college degree. My previous career of 21 years was in oceanography, & I look forward to giving your pet the love and attention they deserve. Experience in DOG CARE: In the last 22 years, on the side of my regular job, I have been trusted by family, friends and new clients via word of mouth to pet sit for canines of all sorts to include senior dogs, dogs with cancer, high energy dogs, shy and nervous dogs, a Great Dane, puppies and multi-pet households. Experience in CAT CARE: I've been cat sitting for 21 years for senior cats, cats with diabetes, cats with swimmer’s syndrome, one cat in a wheelchair, shy cats, active cats, multi-pet households, hairless cats, indoor/outdoor cats, indoor only cats, outdoor only cats & kittens. ADDITIONAL PET CARE: I also have 22 years' pet sitting experience with other pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fresh water fish, turtles, geese and pigs. In my free time, I've rescued, rehabilitated, trained, fostered and been a pet owner to both dogs and cats in Texas, Virginia, California, Hawaii, Spain and the Kingdom of Bahrain. I have also volunteered at animal rescue and no-kill shelters in all of those places as follows: Humane Society, PAWS of Texas, Hawai'i Bird Rescue, Hawai'i Marine Animal Response, Rota Animal Welfare League Spain, and Bahrain SPCA. I am available for walking, pet/house sitting, pet care, vet visits, pet transportation and moving because I'm a full-time online university student. I have my own reliable transportation to come to you, but I do not have the availability to board animals in my residence at this time. My goal is to keep your pet(s) in their routine with the same worry-free, stress-free care as you have set up for them for walking, pet/house sitting, pet care, vet visits, pet transportation or moving. I have my own reliable transportation to come to you. I offer pet transportation in my own vehicle as well, but I do not have boarding facilities available at this time.

I currently stay at home with my baby, which means your pet will get lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day, they’ll never feel alone or neglected. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I have a gentle, hypoallergenic dog at home who is very friendly and well behaved, so I’m comfortable managing multiple pets and making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I’m happy to accommodate different personalities, energy levels, and routines, whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, or just a peaceful place to relax. What you can expect from me: • A clean, safe, and pet-friendly home • Lots of attention, affection, and supervision • Flexibility with scheduling when possible • Clear communication and updates while you’re away I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to make their time with me as stress-free and happy as possible. I’m able to provide consistent potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. Pets are rarely left alone and are always supervised. I follow a calm, structured routine and can easily adjust to your pet’s specific needs, energy level, and schedule. Caring for pets is a natural part of my day, not something I squeeze in. I provide a safe, calm, and fully supervised environment for every pet. In my home, I keep a clean, pet-friendly space and only take a small number of dogs so each one gets plenty of attention. I’m careful with introductions and always prioritize safety and comfort. Pets get regular potty breaks, playtime, and a routine that matches what they’re used to at home. About: I've always been the go-to pet sitter for my friends and family. I don't have a dog of my own but I love that I can have them for short time. I always enjoy the companionship of any pet that comes my way! Note: Recently had family move in with their cats. The cats have no issues with other animals in the house. They pay no mind to dogs coming in. My weekend is Sundays and Mondays. I do work a regular 9 but can come home during my lunch break and have family members that work from home that can help out with potty breaks. I do live with my boyfriend that is able to help me out on weekends a bit since those are his days off also. I live in house with a spacious backyard so potty breaks are easy but I do enjoy going to dog parks or going on walking trails so the both of us can enjoy the outside and get our exercise in!

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, including high-energy dogs, puppies, and senior dogs that need extra patience and attention. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, medication instructions, and making sure pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I focus on safety, structure, and making pets feel secure. I’m very reliable, communicative, and I send regular updates and photos so owners always know their pet is doing well. I’m also active, so dogs that need long walks, playtime, or exercise will get plenty of activity. I’m comfortable with basic puppy training like leash walking, crate routines, and reinforcing simple commands. I’m also patient with senior dogs who may move slower or need more gentle care and attention. My goal is always to make pets feel at home, safe, and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I prioritize consistency, reliability, and time management. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as overnight stays when needed. I’m able to plan my day around walks, feedings, and check-ins to make sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s regular daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended care, I make sure pets stay on their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I also make time for play, exercise, and updates to owners, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. Pet care isn’t just something I fit in—it’s something I intentionally make time for and prioritize. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I always take time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, and any special instructions to make sure they feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything clean and organized while following all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, and preferred routines. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure to prevent any safety risks. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, and a structured routine. I make sure pets are never left unattended for long periods and that they feel safe and relaxed. I also stay in regular communication with owners by providing updates and photos, so there’s always transparency and peace of mind. My goal is to create a safe, trustworthy environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for at all times.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
