About: I’ve been around pets my entire life and have frequently cared for those of my friends and family members, including young pets. Coming from healthcare also gives me unique experience in caring for others and knowing how to manage health complications. My fiance and I have cared for his own cat who requires insulin for diabetes. I am a work from home professional with a log of flexibility within my schedule to support you. My fiance also has a hybrid role. I have experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I am able to walk pets of all sizes and care for them inside the home, whether it is crated or outside a crate. I have also raised pets with access to a backyard and deep pool so am comfortable maintaining pet safety both indoors and outdoors. Being a dietitian, I am knowledgeable with nutrition and food when it comes to pets and humans if needed!

“Kyle came to pick up Flapjacks already prepared with treats for their walk. He was more than willing to use my clicker and provide treats to reinforce her training. He sent me lots of pictures of her on their walk and stopping to enjoy a stick. One half hour walk and she slept the rest of the afternoon and allowed me to work. I appreciated how friendly Kyle was and his willingness to continue my training with my pup on her walk. I would definitely recommend!”

“Elizabeth is a new walker for me and she takes great care of my 13 year old poodle. She takes him for 30 minute walks and I love that she takes him all the way around the building. She was great with the directions I left and very communicative about anything she needed. 10/10”

About: We just moved my golden doodle away from his dog roommates and he’s sad. He needs a friend to play with during the day, that’s why it’s so cheap😊 I'm a young and enthusiastic dog lover who's been around dogs of all shapes and sizes my whole life. I've had two Cocker Spaniels, a Golden Retriever mixed with Border Collie, a super sweet Golden Retriever, and now a lively Golden Doodle. I've also pet-sat for Golden Retrievers, Doodles, Poodles, Irish Setters, Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus, Yorkies, Pugs, Boxers, Labs and more. What makes me a great dog sitter is that I truly enjoy spending time with dogs. I love playing with them, showing them lots of affection, and making sure they get plenty of exercise. Whether your dog needs a good run or a leisurely walk, I'm here to keep them happy and healthy. I currently work from home so I am around the dogs all day. I love to take lots of breaks for play time and walks. I live in an apartment with a small fenced in porch area that’s on floor level. Very easy drop off and pick up! There’s a big park that is right around the corner from me that I enjoy letting my dog run around in.
“Clover was great! She arrives on time and let my pup sniff around and get to know her before she tried to pet her. Ollie seemed very comfortable and was happy when he came back from is walk!”

About: I’ve spent four years watching dogs and ten years living around them. I’m active and outdoorsy, making sure your dog gets walks, attention, and care. I’m currently between full-time roles, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time for pets. I’m available for walks, drop-ins throughout the week, and even boarding on the weekends. With my current schedule, I can match your dog’s needs and routine. I live in a single-bed apartment with a gated dog play area on the property. I also live next to very walkable neighborhood, where I have seen dozens of other dogs out for their daily walks and exercise.
Highland Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had such a great experience! He took amazing care of our 10-week-old puppy and really spent time making him feel comfortable and safe. At that age, it means so much to have someone patient and attentive. His work ethic and communication were excellent, and we felt completely at ease knowing our puppy was in great hands. Highly recommend!

I can never leave enough positive comments about Kara and John. They are great and give me good dog advice throughout the day whenever I have a question (even when they are not walking my dog). They are on time and my dog does much better when they walk him. I highly recommend.

Maria is amazing! My dog, Lasso, is very anxious and as he'd never met Maria before he was a little shy for his walk but Maria was patient, caring and she got him out of the house and he loved his walk with her! She was very responsive and kept me updated. I'll absolutely re-book Maria again and recommend her!

Hollis has been walking our dog for almost half a year. She is dependable, communicative, and great with our Goldendoodle, Rocky. We have a difficult situation where the high-rise we live in is a no-dog building. We have a grandfathered emotional support exemption, but our neighbors are always looking for something to complain about. Hollis has been very understanding and has worked with us to minimize the welcome barking Rocky gives when he sees her. We are grateful and hope she can continue walking him in the future.

Kianna was super helpful in taking my pup out for a walk! She followed all my instructions and I feel confident with her looking after my rescue who is super anxious. She was communicative and let me know how he did, which was extremely comforting especially with him being very timid. Will be booking her again!

Jeanne was the best person to watch my senior dog. She took her time to make sure my dog had everything she needed and took her time to walk and spend time with her. She even went out of the way to make her feel special on her birthday. Thank you for all you did and taking care of the member I do consider my family.
