I prefer to do a "meet and greet" but I realize that is not always possible, so I am willing to do cold call visits for well-socialized, and non-aggressive dogs. I am interested in your dogs' health issues, behavioral issues, or idiosyncrasies. It is also helpful to know about their history, behavior toward other dogs (in general), and breed characteristics.
A typical day
I like to create a routine for repeat customers, because dogs respond well to that. I like to walk them in familiar settings, or follow the same route. I like to play traditional dog games like fetch, keep away, and tug of war. My personal philosophy is that as social creatures, dogs require human interaction and socialization as much as they need food and water.
