“I couldn’t be more pleased with the care my dog received! From the start, she was attentive, professional, and truly compassionate. She sent frequent photo updates, followed all of my care instructions, including food preferences and tips for managing my dog’s anxiety and remained open to any suggestions I had. My dog seemed so comfortable and happy during her stay, and I especially loved that she had a friendly companion to play with! The environment was clean, safe, and welcoming. It’s clear this sitter genuinely loves what she does. I highly recommend her services and will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Barbara is great. She’s sweet, responsive and provides constant updates. She made my big furry baby feel welcomed and comfortable. We will definitely rebook her.”
“Denise was amazing with my Dolce! Super reliable and kept me updated with pictures every day! My dog came back happy, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief to have someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring to count on. I’ll definitely be booking with Denise again!”

“Cassie took great care of Mia over the weekend! Will definitely entrust Cassie to watch Mia again in the future! Enjoyed all the pics she sent during her stay :)”

About: I have over 10yrs of experience caring for animals of all breeds, ages, and personalities. Professionally, I’ve worked at both PetSmart Hotel and PetBar, where I administered medication and assisted with grooming. I welcome the youngest of puppies as I not only watch them during boarding/day-care, but also assist with training (potty, walking & commands) as they grow. I’m currently working a FT job M-F but I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your pet over the weekend. I have a 8yr old fur-son here to keep yours company as well. I’m always happy to make accommodations based on your pet’s unique needs—whether that’s extra walks, baths, or just more cuddle time. I love capturing a pet’s personality in photos and will send you regular updates so you can feel connected and at ease while you're away.
“Cody was simply amazing! He watched Navi literally within minutes of reaching out. He was a true hero! Cody sent pictures of Navi everyday and kept her company when I was away. He went above and beyond. I highly recommend him to watch your pup!”

“Pamela was great with my dog, Tucker. She treated him like her own and I knew he had a great time. She sent wonderful photos and updated me throughout my trip so I was never worried. I highly recommend her as a sitter on Rover! We will be using her again :)”

“Was a great stay for my dog. Kept me updated on her the whole time I was away including photos and videos. Very friendly and accommodating to my drop off and pick up needs. Would definitely use again”

“Meghan & John treats Rocko as if he were their own. I couldn’t ask for my pup to be in better care. They are absolutely AMAZING and communicative. I don’t trust Rocko with anyone else!”

“Haley was wonderful! Our cats loved her so much, so was so welcoming and made sure they felt at home in her place! She communicated so well and made us feel very secure that our boys were in great hands! We will definitely be rebooking. She has the most animal loving energy :)”

“Hei wa was absolutely lovely! My dogs enjoyed spending time with her, from the moment of the initial meeting until the moment I picked them up! She was very communicative, and took a lot of pictures and videos to show that my dogs were doing well with her. She was very caring, and attentive to and understanding of their needs, likes, and dislikes, and adapted very well to any change that came up. I even learned some dog care tips from her!”

“Adam always takes such great care of Lola. I can tell she has fun because she is always pooped when we get home! His dogs always welcome her into their home as another member of the family and it’s neat to see pictures of them all lined up on the sofa napping together. Adam is a fantastic sitter and I recommend him highly for any dog who likes to be with other dogs.”

“Amazing dog sitter! Great communication, reliable, and took wonderful care of our pup. We received updates, pics/videos throughout the stay, and our dog came home happy and well cared for. Highly recommend and would definitely book again! 🐾❤️”

“Grayson was incredible, very flexible, sent so many updates, and even gave Leo a Bath and took a cute Xmas Polaroid of him. I really appreciate all his genuine care for my Leo, I would def book again.”

“Melissa is so good with our girl! She sends daily updates and pictures of her playing with the other dogs in the complex and makes sure we know that she’s being loved on and cared for. Melissa is our go to sitter, and we would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a responsible, loving sitter for their little ones!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Dallas
Tyler and Jordan are amazing. I loved that they sent pictures and videos of my dog. It was my first time boarding her and that was very reassuring to me. Thank you. Millie even seems a little more behaved than when I dropped her off. Will definitely book with them again.

Talia was great! She was very attentive and gentle with my pup. He’s 16 and is very delicate at this stage of his life and she was able to connect with him in a short amount of time and make him feel comfortable. Not every rover has this capability and Talia is a rare person that does. Will definitely book again! Tysm Talia.

Second time we’ve used Roy and like the first time our Birdie had a blast running around and playing with her doggie friends! Great communication, very responsive sending messages, photos and videos regularly. We could tell our baby was well taken care of which gave us such piece of mind while we were out of town. Already booked with Roy for our next trip in a few weeks!

I cannot say enough good things about Whitney. She was so attentive to my dogs needs and made sure to keep me updated. My dog, Rosie had a stomach issue during her stay (an ongoing problem she has had previously) Whitney went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of and constantly kept me updated. I would recommend Whitney to everyone, my dog came back happy and healthy after her stay.

Reagan was amazing! She took amazing care of my pup and was extra attentive. She sent me updates and images frequently and took extra care to Greg being his first time staying with someone else. Would recommend Reagan who is needing a trustworthy friend person to watch their pet.

My pup Henny loves it here. He literally ran to her front door waiting for her to open it so he can play with his new bff Gilli. Jirah is very attentive and sends lots of pictures. She provides a loving, safe, fun and comfortable environment for Henny to enjoy! I feel great knowing I can drop him off and he is going to get the attention and love that he gets at home.

Toby—our senior Terrier w/several serious health issues—left us two days before we left on a trip that could not be rescheduled. Toby and Lola were due to stay with Jeannine for 9 days. Jeannine has always taken especially good care of our senior dogs with all of their health issues and various medications/special diets. Plus she and Toby had bonded over his many stays with her. Jeannine sweetly came to spend nearly two hours with Toby one last time the night before he left us. As sick as Toby was, he was having a relatively good day. Toby was therefore thrilled to have Jeannine at his house, lavishing him with her attention once again. After Toby was gone and we had to leave, Jeannine took extra good care of Lola, now on her own. Lola is a very active dog but it was too hot to walk during the day. Jeannine found creative ways to keep Lola active and happy. Jeannine’s communication is always very good, especially meaningful to us this time as we worried about Lola w/o Toby—and as we grieved Toby ourselves from afar.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
