Before I care for your pet, I always like to know a few key things to make sure they feel safe and cared for: Daily routine: Mealtimes, walk times, litter habits, energy level, etc. Behavioral notes: Are they shy? Protective? Reactive on walks? Do they get nervous when you're gone? Medical needs: Medications, allergies, or anything I should monitor. House rules: Are there areas they’re not allowed? Do they get treats or need to stay off furniture? Emergency contact: Vet info and who to reach if needed. I’m happy to follow your instructions closely—just let me know what helps your pet feel most at home when you’re not around.

A typical day with me is calm, structured, and focused on what your pet needs most—routine, attention, and comfort. I always start by making sure they have fresh food and water, a clean space, and a quick check-in on how they’re feeling. If I’m doing a drop-in visit, I’ll take time to connect—whether that’s play, a walk, or just sitting nearby if they’re shy. I move at their pace and follow any routines you leave for me. If I’m house-sitting or staying overnight, I make sure your pet feels safe while you're away. That means sticking to their schedule, keeping their space clean, and giving them plenty of company and affection (if they want it). I also keep you updated with a quick message and a photo or two so you can relax knowing they're okay. Every pet’s different, and I’m always happy to adjust my day to match what yours needs most.
