“Cassandra was wonderful with both me and my dog. She was very responsive and did a great job keeping me updated each day with photos. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Silvana was amazing with Bella! She sent frequent pictures and videos and Bella was always having so much fun. We love the backyard area and splash pad and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Megan was a great sitter! She was very professional and she spent lots of time with my pup. She sent me lots of pics and kept me updated with his activities daily. I will definitely be using her again when I need someone to watch Frank.”

“Highly recommend! David was beyond great watching our pup for the weekend! He answered any and all questions we had, was very flexible for the meet and greet, and sent us many photos, videos and messages to keep us updated on how our dog was doing. Our dog has separation anxiety and David was understanding and treated potentially weird situations with a great sense of humor. We will definitely use David again!”

“I cannot express the utmost gratitude I have for Lilivette! I am often worrisome when I leave my Chuckie when I go on vacation but from beginning to end, Lilivette has made the process so very smoothe. She met with me ahead of time with her dog to ensure they met and were friendly. She was very communicative about her picking up Chuckie from daycare and gave constant updates which relieved a lot of my anxiety. But I want to mainly mention that she was beyond accommodating for when I had to pick up Chuckie. She understood that I was traveling and was going to be tired the next day and she was so considerate about picking him up later in the evening so I can decompress from my long trip back home. Again, I cannot express how grateful I am for Lilivette and her family for allowing Chuckie to stay and feel so welcomed!! Everyone got along so well and I think Chuckie made a new best friend with her dog! I would definitely be using Lilivette again for any of trips where I may have to leave Chuckie!!! if I could give more stars I would!!!!!”

“Very nice! Stephanie gave updates and sent multiple pictures a day which made me happy each time. Seeing that my dog is doing good, helped me have a stress free vacation.”

About: I have over 10yrs of experience caring for animals of all breeds, ages, and personalities. Professionally, I’ve worked at both PetSmart Hotel and PetBar, where I administered medication and assisted with grooming. I welcome the youngest of puppies as I not only watch them during boarding/day-care, but also assist with training (potty, walking & commands) as they grow. I’m currently working a FT job M-F but I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your pet over the weekend. I have a 8yr old fur-son here to keep yours company as well. I’m always happy to make accommodations based on your pet’s unique needs—whether that’s extra walks, baths, or just more cuddle time. I love capturing a pet’s personality in photos and will send you regular updates so you can feel connected and at ease while you're away.

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have years of experience looking after cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels for my friends and family. From energetic puppies and kittens to calm seniors, I know how to read each pet’s unique personality and provide the perfect mix of exercise, play, affection, and care. What sets me apart is my calm, attentive approach and practical skills like administering oral medications on schedule, supporting anxious or senior pets, and helping them feel safe and loved in any situation. I treat every precious animal like they’re part of my own family and am happy to send plenty of photo updates so you can relax while you’re away! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work weekdays during the day, but I’m consistently available in the afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-ins, and extended visits. This allows me to give pets my full attention when they’re most active and need companionship. I also have flexibility on weekends, so I can accommodate a variety of schedules, including recurring bookings or last-minute requests. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine, personality, and the service requested, making sure they feel comfortable and secure at all times. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime while keeping their space clean and treating their home with respect. I give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship so they don’t feel stressed while their owner is away. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, calm environment with supervision, regular trips outside, and activities that match their energy level. My apartment has a great dog park, and plenty of walking trails outside! I always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication, and I keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is in good hands.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - University Park
Lynn was absolutely wonderful with Frankie! From the moment we dropped her off, we could tell she was in such good hands. Lynn kept us updated with sweet photos and messages, and it was clear that Frankie felt right at home with her. I even messed up the pickup times, and Lynn was incredibly kind and accommodating about it. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Frankie was happy and well cared for. We’re so grateful and will definitely be booking with Lynn again! ❤️

Zachary took such good care of Poppins and was also a great communicator. He enforced our house rules with Poppins, and took great care with her on stairs, as requested. Then Zachary was there at the curb to meet us upon pickup. A great experience! We will definitely rebook!

This was my second time using Nicole to watch Puddin, and she has been consistently amazing! She is caring, attentive, communicative, and always makes me feel completely at ease while I’m away. I would absolutely recommend Nicole and will definitely continue using her!

Tyler and Jordan are amazing. I loved that they sent pictures and videos of my dog. It was my first time boarding her and that was very reassuring to me. Thank you. Millie even seems a little more behaved than when I dropped her off. Will definitely book with them again.

I cannot say enough good things about Whitney. She was so attentive to my dogs needs and made sure to keep me updated. My dog, Rosie had a stomach issue during her stay (an ongoing problem she has had previously) Whitney went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of and constantly kept me updated. I would recommend Whitney to everyone, my dog came back happy and healthy after her stay.

Jocelyn is an awesome Rover. Her home is centrally located in Dallas and near a fenced dog park, which is perfect for play time even in the summer. She sent great pictures and updates both days, and communicating with her was super easy. Highly recommend her and hope to work with her again next time I need boarding!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
