I got my first cat when I was 7, and even though he was a little mean, I loved him dearly, and he was a big part of my life until he passed away when I was 17. I’ve had cats in my life ever since, and I’m very much a proud cat lady. I currently live in a household with five cats and two dogs, so there’s never a shortage of animal personalities around here. Living in a multi-pet household has given me plenty of experience with how different every animal can be and how important it is to respect their individual personalities, boundaries, and routines. I understand that every cat has their own personality. Some are affectionate and want attention all day, while others prefer their own space or need more time to warm up to someone new. I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own home.
