“Grayson always go above and beyond when having to take care of my little pup. The daily pictures and updates warms my heart to know my little pup is being cared for as if it’s his own. I really appreciate it! Highly recommend! Do not pass Grayson up, this will be your go to boarding guy!”

“Shaylor and his family took such great care of Bailey. They sent updates and she looked like she was having fun. They were so kind and helpful. I can’t think of anyone else I’d be as comfortable leaving Bailey with.”

“Amanda is the absolute best! We were so appreciative to receive photo updates, and it was obvious in each of them that our dog was having a blast with her and her companions. I’ve had so many mediocre to bad experiences with boarding, that this experience has totally redeemed. Thank you, Amanda, for taking care of our baby!”

“We were very pleased with having Karen watch our dog Blanca during a holiday time frame. We received pictures and updates every day. Definitely taking her again next time we need someone to watch her.”

“Samantha and Ryan were great at communication and we felt very comfortable leaving Riley with them. They gave us updates and pictures to let us know how she was doing and we will definitely be booking Riley another stay with them in the future. Thanks!”

“Valerie was amazing!! This was my first time leaving my 5 month old golden retriever and I don’t have any suggestions or input as to what Valerie could have done better. My boy came back happy and sad to see her go and that’s always a good sign. Valerie is so sweet and easy to work with. I will definitely be using her again within the month.”

About: As a dog mom myself, I know how it is when you’re wanting to trust someone! Have no fear! I’ll be your fur baby favorite homegirl! I work full time (for myself) Monday-Thursday. My availability would be starting sometimes Thursday evening or Fridays-Sundays. However I’m open to being as flexible as needed! While I’m home we tend to chill or play with toys! When it’s nap time we nap in crates and go outside to play after!
About: There’s not many dog parks around here so would love my dog to meet your furry pals to hangout and play. He is playful 💞 I am a stay home dog mom full time! Me and Jacoby lounge around, he comes with me and make errands at times, we go for walks and there’s a fenced up playground where he loves to go late at night and freely roam around we love it there. If you let me sit your furry one I will take my dog and your dog to the dog park Fridays 🥰 your dog will always have something to do 🫶🏽 I will also send you videos and pictures throughout the day so you can enjoy your day with ease. I have a fenced yard with a shaded patio the dogs are welcomed inside I do have a huge crate for my Dane. Your dog must be house trained in order for me to keep them inside. 2 dogs at a time will be welcomed to make sure all dogs are fully getting the well deserved attention 🥰
“Jaylon was very responsive during the booking process, provided a detailed questionnaire in preparation for the dog sitting and provided daily updates on the status of our dog while we were out of town.”

“Ms.D is EXACTLY what I needed. She made Lady Christina feel part of her family. My baby didn't want to get in the car afterwards and she loves car trips. I will be using Ms.D again. Thanks for your hospitality.”

“Zeus had an amazing time. He looked so at ease and relaxed in the pictures that Marci sent me. He had a stressful trip traveling to Texas so to see him look just as comfortable as he does in his own home was amazing. I can't recommend Marci enough. She did a GREAT job with him.”

“Alina, is a great dog sitter. She Handled my big German Shepard no problem! I can’t recommend her enough! She sends lots of pictures and makes sure your pup is well exercised! 5 out of 5 stars for sure!”
“My Cooper so enjoyed her visit with Teresa. Teresa was very accommodating to all of our needs and so enjoyed the environment and attention while she stayed with Teresa!”

“Vimonluck was such a breathe of fresh air and gave me so much peace of mind when watching Hershey! She provided updates, pictures, and videos. Hershey was living her best life playing my hide and seek with Vimonluck’s dog Miso! I’d definitely recommend and rebook with Vimonluck on future occasions. Thank you so much!”

“My fur children had an amazing time with Mariah! She did an amazing job updating us on their well being during their stay! I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Wonderful experience! Emma sent loads of pictures, updates, and my dog really didn’t want to leave! Emma is the epitome of calm assertive energy and all the dogs love her. She is very attentive and quick to respond to any of my questions. I trust her completely!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - DeSoto
I am new in town and needed someone to take great care of my baby for a few days. Admittedly, I was very nervous about leaving her with someone I did not know but Tabitha made me feel so comfortable. I had no worries. My baby was happy there and thrived around the other dogs. Tabitha definitely put my mind at ease and I highly recommend her! If I ever need someone she will be the only person I will call! Tabitha is definitely worth five stars!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
