Hi, I'm Bertha Perez! I have been passionate about animals my whole life and have experience caring for a variety of pets. I have over 10 years of experience with dogs and small mammals. I haven’t cared for cats but open to the experience. Whether it's administering medication, providing special diets, or just giving lots of love and attention, I can handle it all. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for dog walking, pet sitting, and grooming. Experienced in handling high maintenance, energetic, elderly, special needs dogs. My friends and family always joke that I treat animals better than people! Whenever I see a dog while I'm out, I can't resist going over to give some love and attention. Taking care of animals brings me immense joy and satisfaction. Each pet has its own personality, and I love getting to know them and ensuring they are happy and well-cared for.

If you are looking for a phenomenal dog sitter, look no farther. Berth was everything I was looking for plus more. She was incredibly communicative the entire time, sent me tons of pictures and updates, and was so loving and attentive with my dogs. She was also super proactive about anything they could have possibly needed, which gave me peace of mind. She went above and beyond in so many little ways, including taking the cutest pictures of them and even leaving me a Polaroid photo of them to come home to. 🥹 She left my house in even better condition than I left it! I came home to two very happy dogs. I will absolutely book her again and recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can fully trust.

Our 1st experience with Rover & Bertha was outstanding! It’s obvious Bertha has a love for animals, and our 17.5 year old Bindi. We are so appreciative of Bertha for the photos and immediate text responses during our trip. As well as an experienced understanding of older dog’s care as Bindi is mostly deaf & blind. Highly recommend both Rover & Bertha P!
Bertha was absolutely amazing with our little Sophie! She gave her so much love and attention, we couldn’t have asked for better care while we were out of town!
Bertha was great! We appreciated the photos and videos she would send each day! We loved the little welcome home printed photos of our dogs when we got home. One of our dogs usually hides a lot with dog sitters but Bertha must have the magic touch cause he hung out with her a lot! More than with us! Bertha is a keeper and we'll hire her again for sure!
She was absolutely amazing with my dogs! She kept me updated every step of the way with pictures and messages, letting me know how they were doing, if they didn’t eat, or if their allergies were acting up. She was very attentive to the hot weather, making sure they stayed hydrated and comfortable. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!

Schedule
I am available for pet sitting and dog walking most weekdays and weekends. I currently work from home, so my schedule can be flexible and accommodate most request. Please check my calendar for specific dates.

Pet sitting in the clients home allows for your fur babies to be more comfortable with their humans being away, by being in an environment they are comfortable with. I always strive to treat your fur babies as if they were my own and take exceptional care of them! I will always leave the home in better condition than when I arrived, I want to make sure you come home to a clean house and happy fur babies.
A typical day
Each fur baby has their own routine and I am committed to following that routine, so that they can be comfortable with me. Whether that routine be walks, playing with toys, or even snuggles - I will make sure your pet feels happy and comfortable at all times.

- I require a questionnaire at the time of booking that includes information such as pet behaviors, special needs, medications, emergency contact numbers, veterinarian, and more! I always appreciate any information given, so that I can provide your pet with the best care and yourself with an ease of mind that your fur babies are being well taken care of while you’re away!
