“Maggie was the first Rover sitter I ever booked with, and I have been a repeat customer since. She is so easy to work with, and she goes above and beyond in all aspects. She is very communicative and intentional in her care for animals. I receive adorable pictures of my cat and very thorough updates each visit, so I always feel comfortable and trust that my animal is in incredible hands with Maggie. The litter box stays fresh, her bowls stay refilled and clean, and she spends her visits playing and getting to know your animal as much as they’ll allow. My cat once had a small accident outside the litter box and Maggie didn’t hesitate to deep clean the mess. I also once had to leave town for a last minute family emergency, and Maggie was incredibly understanding and helpful with scheduling visits If you’re a first time Rover user or frequently book on the app, I highly recommend Maggie.”

About: I've taken care of dogs for about two years now. I first started when my roommate left for Korea for about a month. I've always had an affinity towards dogs so taking care of his dog made me want to take care of other dogs as well. Ever since then, I've been able to take care of 8 other dogs. Whether it be playing with your pets or walking them around or going potty, I have everything covered! I have time to take care of your pets on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between the times of 10:30 AM-1 PM and 3:30-7 PM. Also, Saturdays I am free until 6 PM. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. Whether in my home or the client’s home, I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and lots of attention. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for.
“Haylee was awesome!!! Her great communication made us feel that our Zeke was safe, happy, and well taken care of. We loved all the updates & pictures. We would highly recommend!!!!!!”

“Ashanti stepped in at the last minute to help with my pup, and she was so easy to with despite the fact that this was our first time booking together! She responded quickly, ensured all was taken care of, and provided great feedback on the visit. Definitely recommend and will be booking with again in the future!”

“Kelsey was EXCELLENT! I had her watch my cat for a few days and he has never been as calm/happy when I returned from some time away than the weekend when Kelsey looked after him. She was so easy to communicate with and her responses were always quick. I will absolutely have her watch my cat again when I leave town for a few days :)”
“Carrin was amazing. She took such good care of my senior cat. She was very communicative and sent me tons of photos every day to update me. Mort could not have been in better hands.”
“Erica was great! She took very good care of my dog, Abby. Abby was ill during the visit and Erica did a wonderful job administering pills and making sure my girl was OK. Erica is an extremely good communicator, very dependable, and left detailed rover cards. I highly recommend.”

“Chaka is the best dog sitter. This is my first time ever using a service like this and she made things so easy with the process of getting to know my dog (K2) and me from start to finish. She's always going above and beyond and her care for my dog is level 1000% thank you Chaka!!!”

“Tiffany was the perfect sitter for our precious babies! Did everything we asked of her and beyond. Would absolutely book her again if we needed another sitter. Thank you!!”

“Catherine was so great with my boy! She was punctual, communicative, took lots of pictures, and went above & beyond to make sure he was taken care of. He is big and can get a bit skiddish outside/with new people but she was able to handle him really well. I appreciated that she cleaned up when he had an accident in the hallway, and even made an additional stop by my place to make sure he went #2 when he was too scared to go earlier in the day. I would definitely book with Catherine in the future :)”

About: I have taken care of different pets for as long as I can remember. I would love to help walk and play with your pet! It would truly be the highlight of my day! I am currently a student and so I am available Mondays before 12, W/F before 12 or after 3pm, Tues/Thurs before 12:30 or after 3pm. I have no animals in my first floor apartment and will provide constant attention to your animals! I will take them on constant walks and play with them consistently!
About: I have lived with cats all my life and been around lots of my family’s doggies. I have been trusted to pet-sit for my mom’s friends, family, and my friends. I was relied on to walk, feed, play and love all the dogs I was entrusted with. I am a HUGE nature fan, I love all creatures, even those who get bad reputations! I have taken care of senior dogs, cats, rabbits, a sweet lizard named sunny, and a snake! :) I currently have a full time job, but I spend plenty of time at home to give your pets the attention they need! I am available for boarding on weekends, or on weekdays after 5pm. Depending on your friend’s needs, I can make time to see them during the day, as I live very close to where I work. I live in an apartment complex, with some green space and lots of walkable areas. Depending on how much activity your furry baby needs, I am able to go on very long walks with them. I live on my own, with no other pets at my place, so I am very able to pet-sit in your home if needed!
“We recently moved to Texas and finding a good pet sitter was one of my biggest worries. I have 2 cats, one of which needs daily medication. We had our first out of town trip this weekend and Bethany was able to ensure that Mia got her medicine and sent some lovely pictures / updates. Would highly recommend!”
“Adri is always amazing. this was the 3rd time she stayed w my cats, they love her ! thanks Adri for all you do for us and for the xmas gifts!!!! Pri, Lana and Coachella”

“I've had so many nightmare experiences with pet sitters but working with Kimberly is so easy. I feel like I can actually relax knowing that she's taking care of the "kiddos". She lives close by and she really spends quality time with them. Reduce your headache and relax by booking with her.”

“Farhan provided great service, showing up on time and making sure my dog got plenty of exercise and attention. I would highly recommend Farhan to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker. Would hire again 💯”

“This was my second time to use Kyle while I was away and he did a fantastic job with my dog Kenzie who is 14. He’s very communicative and honest person. I know Kenzie feels safe with him! He takes awesome pics on the walks! Also turned on animals with music on my TV, to give Kenzie some noise in my apartment so she didn’t feel alone. Will definitely use again!”

“Brittany and Tadas were great! Came on time and frequently sent updates. They asked if there was anything in particular they needed to know to care for Monty and were wonderful with how shy he can be with new people.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - University Park
Erica has been consistently an excellent sitter for my pups. I have felt comfortable leaving them in her capable hands for extended periods at this point, knowing I am going to come back to happy and healthy dogs. She communicates well and keeps me informed and I'm appreciative to have found someone that I can trust them with!

Averille was great! She was very patient with my cat, even though Violet is a timid cat. She always kept me updated on how she was doing and even tried making her comfortable with liquid food pack. By the end of the week with Averille, Violet was letting her pet her and playing with her.

This is the second time I have used Kytari’s pet sitting services since she did SUCH an amazing job the first time around. She is great with communication and you can tell she truly cares about the well-being of your pets as if they were her own. I returned from my weekend trip to happy, healthy kitties and never once had to worry about them. Thanks again to Kytari!

Kelsey was AMAZING!!! She agreed to watch our pup for a pretty lengthy period of time and on short notice and took such wonderful care of him. She provided frequent updates and was extremely reliable. We are so thankful for her and will definitely be using her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
