“Great with my 80 lb, strong willed boy! Friendly and puppy comes home happy and worn out. Everything I could ask for! Will hire Richard again for sure. So glad we got connected with him!”

“As always, Hilda is such a great dog walker. She was able to help me on short notice and took care to keep my dog in grassy areas and off thr pavement since it was so hot out. She's always on my to call list when I need help!”

“Cathy was great and my dog loved his time walking with her! She was on time, professional, and sent great updates and photos from their walk. I would highly recommend Cathy if you’re looking for someone to help out take care of your pets!”

“Sandra has been wonderful to our two pups. Very reliable and flexible. I am completely confident that our girls are well cared for while I am at work and my wife is out of town. Sandra even jumped in on short notice one weekend when a house sitting arrangement fell through. She provides great walk updates and constant communication. I highly recommend her and will definitely rebook in the future.”

About: I’ve never not had pets in my life! I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets, young and old, traditional pets and more exotic ones. I don’t mind caring for any type of pet— if it’s your baby, it’ll be mine too for a bit! Currently I have completely open availability! Some weekends I do theatre productions but those weekends are few and far between. I’m also a night owl and am open to care for your pets at all odd hours of the day or night. Routine is key for your pets. As a sitter, it is my responsibility to ensure your babies still follow their routine as if you were still at home. I have experience with more complex routines or routines that involve medication as well!
About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for over 20 years and truly treat every dog like family. In addition to raising my own pups, I’ve fostered dogs, volunteered with a rescue organization, and have been providing pet care through Rover since 2019. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for hundreds of dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, or simply relax, I’ll provide the same love, attention, and care that I give my own. My goal is to make sure both you and your pup feel comfortable, confident, and stress-free while you’re apart. About me: Typically I work from home 2 days a week but those days are flexible and I’m home on the weekends. I volunteer for DFW Boxer Rescue and have fostered a couple dogs for them. I am a HUGE Boxer lover so if you have a Boxer...🙋🏼♀️ please, pick me!! If you want to know more about me or see photos and videos of my Rover dogs feel free to ask for any photos and/or videos. When I say that I treat pets like my children, it is no exaggeration! We treat all dogs like they are our own and they even sleep in the bed with us. I have crates for when they are needed (or wanted) but I do not require them nor do I want to use them unless necessary (which is mainly for meal time). I prefer for the dogs to roam the house and get comfortable like this is their own home.
“Karina has been absolutely amazing and has saved me many times. I have a busy schedule and I travel a lot for work. She has helped me in a pinch with a smile on her face! My pets adore her and I think the world of her.”

About: I have been responsible for dogs since the age of 10. I love nothing more than to go on walks around the neighborhood and would be more than happy to bring your furry friend along with me! Whether it’s feeding, taking your dog out, or just being someone they can play with, I will be happy to assist you with any of your pet needs! I am currently working full time during the week starting the first week of August. Weekends remain extremely free for a majority of the rest of the year! Reach out if you think we could make a Friday evening work as well. We would be happy to board even during the work week given that we occasionally work from home. Safety and security is of utmost importance when visiting your home and caring for your pet. I can do anything you would like me to when it comes to entering and exiting your home. I can supply you with any pictures necessary plus any updates about the inside and outside of your home. I will also make sure to provide both text and photo updates about the status of your pet!
“If I had to describe John in one word, it would be “amazing.” We are new to Dallas and needed someone to walk our two dogs on very short notice, and John was kind enough to step in and help. Our dogs are not difficult, but they definitely have their own personalities. One is a 120 lb German Shepherd who loves chasing squirrels (and climb trees to meet their families), rabbits, and sometimes even butterflies, and he also thinks he needs to make friends with every dog he sees. Our other one is an 18 lb Shih Tzu who is a little pampered and does not like walking in the sun. What really stood out to us was how patient, caring, and thoughtful John was with both of them. During the first couple of days, when our Shih Tzu decided he was done walking after finishing his business, John actually picked him up and carried him while continuing the walk because our German Shepherd still wanted more time outside. For the last few days, he even walked them separately so each of them could get the individual attention they needed. That level of care says a lot about John. He was always on time, courteous, respectful, responsible, and genuinely loving toward our dogs. We are very thankful for his help and would definitely look forward to having him take care of our boys again in the future.”

“Kyra has been the best walker for our dog! She’s always prompt and on time, communicates well, and leaves our dog nice and tired after her walks. I appreciate you Kyra! Highly recommend.”

I am currently a graduate student working on my doctoral capstone which is 100% WFH so I will always be around to make sure your pet is getting the care they need. I’m a full time independent contractor, so I have a lot of flexibility during my day to play with your fur animals! I am available to drop in Monday-Sunday, from the morning to evening. I currently live in a house with a backyard for my dog to go out and play and two cats that have enough space to roam around! I will make sure that they are comfortable with me around by waiting patiently for them to open up to me and do what I can to make the 15-30 minutes valuable for them. I constantly play with my dog/cats with their favorite toys and get them jumping and moving around :)

Kendall is very quick to respond, she was available to help with walking my dog, Bella, on such short notice. She took care of everything while I was away on a trip. She sent me updates and cute photos of Bella as well! I definitely will use Kendall’s services again!

Nicole is awesome! She walked my Milo twice for me today. In this Texas heat! God Bless her! She made sure my sweet boy had playtime in the yard, she gave him lots of loving, he loves to be scratched on his back & belly rubs❤️I work all day & having a Border Collie, I know he gets bored at home while Im gone. So she was an angel for making sure he got some exercise & playtime & got some of that Border Collie energy out. Nicole is the best!

Shannon walked Gus 3 days a week for the last 8ish months and has been wonderful! I highly recommend her. She’s a great communicator, sends good photo updates, and great with animals. She was able to provide additional support to Gus when he hurt his back and I always trusted she was providing Gus with great care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
