With younger puppies, I can maintain any training protocols you’re working on (leash walking, potty training, chewing). For seniors, I can accommodate whatever you need from me while in my care. For all others, we have lots of options to have fun, keep them busy, or just chill out. I’m home all day so there’s plenty of time for playing, cuddles, walks and attention. Lots of toys, furniture and dog beds for your babies to play with or get comfy. I have a lot of experience with dogs that may have difficulties on walks (pulling, chasing, reactive). I always make sure the pets are comfortable and have their needs met. My apartment is on the 1st floor and the back door leads to the doggy courtyard so potty breaks don’t have to be scorching for them in these Texas summer months.

About: I'm always the first one called when a family member or friend is in need of a pet sitter. It can be so difficult to find someone who will love and care for your pet the way you would. As a fellow dog owner I understand the immense amount of love we feel for our furry babies. I currently work full time from home so I'll have plenty of time for your pup! I have a small, partially turfed, fenced in backyard area and a funny golden doodle named Chapo to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if needed. “If I had to describe John in one word, it would be “amazing.” We are new to Dallas and needed someone to walk our two dogs on very short notice, and John was kind enough to step in and help. Our dogs are not difficult, but they definitely have their own personalities. One is a 120 lb German Shepherd who loves chasing squirrels (and climb trees to meet their families), rabbits, and sometimes even butterflies, and he also thinks he needs to make friends with every dog he sees. Our other one is an 18 lb Shih Tzu who is a little pampered and does not like walking in the sun. What really stood out to us was how patient, caring, and thoughtful John was with both of them. During the first couple of days, when our Shih Tzu decided he was done walking after finishing his business, John actually picked him up and carried him while continuing the walk because our German Shepherd still wanted more time outside. For the last few days, he even walked them separately so each of them could get the individual attention they needed. That level of care says a lot about John. He was always on time, courteous, respectful, responsible, and genuinely loving toward our dogs. We are very thankful for his help and would definitely look forward to having him take care of our boys again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of 4 dogs over the course of 6 years, one of them being my own and I would make their stay luxurious. I like to pamper the dog if it is okay, and give them the best stay ever. I am currently a college student, and working, and I don’t have to go office full day, so I am pretty much free all day. My parents are at home all day too and they can help. I take care of my dog by giving him plenty of treats and outdoor time, and I always give him kisses. I listen to what he says and make sure he is always having a good time. He is always bored though because of me being busy quite often and so I think pet sitting would be a great option for him to have company.

Our dogs had never been watched by anyone else for that long and we were worried but Steven made us feel so comfortable from the time we contacted him. Our 16 year old Chihuahua is on heart medication that needs to be given twice a day and Steven was very accommodating to our dogs’ needs. He sent plenty of pictures and updates throughout our trip and we really appreciated that.
