“Thanks so much for providing excellent care for our Cavapoo. We greatly appreciated the video and text message updates. Blaze is looking forward to us going out of town again so he can come back to play with Copper and Lancer. Thanks so much, William.”

“Our experience is amazing. Thuy kept me posted with updates and photos throughout the day. She is truly a dog lover. I felt comfortable leaving my baby fur with her even though it’s their first time being together.”

“Nana and Scott were incredible with my older pup! They were flexible on drop-off and pick-up times, kept my dog well fed and active, and were just generally kind and caring. I will definitely be scheduling with them again soon!”

“Dulce is the best! She took great care of my pet beagle Lucy. Even when i've had to make some last minute schedule changes, Dulce has been very accomodating. Even her dog Otis is such a sweetheart! Throughout the day she would be in touch with me as to how Lucy was doing, which I greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for all your help Dulce!”

“Our Oliver's first day on April 29th 2026 at Celeste's house was just perfect! He loved playing with Celeste's cute & sweet fur baby Tula and the other sweet & another friendly Dachshund baby who Oliver spend the day with. Celeste is so caring, loving and patient and just wonderful! She sent us a lot of updates and so many cute & adorable pictures of Oliver and his sweetest fur baby friends. She took the time to make Oliver comfortable. Oliver had a blast at Celeste's with his new little friends. He had so much fun that he did not want to come home with us and wanted to go back with Celeste and her little fur babies who are Oliver's best friends now!! Celeste's profile says "Your fur babies are my priority." and she truly makes our fur babies her priority. We can see that she truly loves dogs and cares for them wholeheartedly. Celeste is such a sweet, considerate, loving, caring and kind person and we could see that in the way Oliver was wanting to go back with her. Oliver had so much amazing time and great fun after such a long time. Oliver cannot wait to go back to spend the day with Celeste and Tula and make more new friends!! “Ronas has been awesome at taking care of Pixel. Pixel is usually picky and won’t eat with anyone but us, so it says a lot that she consistently eats her food when she’s over there. She clearly feels comfortable and safe, and Ronas does a great job making her feel at home. Pixel also seems to love hanging out with Bailey, which makes the stay even better. I’d absolutely recommend Ronas as a reliable, caring sitter.”

“I had such a great experience with this pet sitter! She was incredibly easy to work with—very sweet, kind-hearted, and understanding from start to finish. She treated my dog with so much care and attention, which gave me real peace of mind. I especially appreciated how responsive she was and how she kept me updated throughout the day with messages and updates about my pet. It made a huge difference knowing my dog was in such good hands. I’m truly grateful for the care she provided, and my dog will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 12 years old I have walked, bathed and fed them with responsibility and a lot of love for me they are our furry families I'm currently working part-time so I can take care of your pet after 2pm and on weekends full-time I’ll be really glad and happy to take care of your furry friend. I have a fenced yard and two furry babies who will keep your dog child company they are very friendly if it is necessary to have a cage I have no problems with that
“Amazing job!! They took day-care of my baby and stayed home with her all day. They took her on walks and played with her as a fun family. Bliss was so excited to go back every day and I loved the comfort of knowing she was in good hands while I had to be away from her during the day.”

“After a few days at the doggy day care center we could tell our doggo was not enjoying it. With an upcoming trip we need to find somewhere to board her. The day care center doesn’t have someone there overnight and I don’t think that would work for us. So we gave Rover a shot and found Shierly to start our dog with day care w her. Our fur baby is an anxious girl and Sheirly was so great with her. Shierly has plenty of space for Maya to run around in the yard and a welcoming home. We feel at ease that we have found a place to take Maya to and feel comfortable she will do well for the upcoming boarding.”

About: I’ve had my own pets since I was 16. I’ve had anything from rabbits, cats, and dogs. I’ve trained my own dog as well and am experienced with administering medication as well. I’m also an expert when it comes to attention, so I have plenty of that to give! As of right now I’m a stay at home wife, so I’m able to give the pets that I do have the full care and attention they need. I also absolutely love other peoples animals and can fit the care for other people’s baby’s into my schedule. I don’t have a fenced yard but if the client has one, I will let their pet(s) out to play and stretch. If there is no yard, I will be doing an extended walk. I will also make sure that their area is clean and that they have food and water.
“Shalini and Jeremiah were fantastic! They were able to watch my pup super last minute and kept me updated with pictures and answered any questions i had! Will def be using them again if need be!”

About: I grew up on a farm caring for animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, bunnies, pigs, cows, horses, and more. Caring for animals has always been a part of my daily life, not just a hobby. That experience taught me how to read animal behavior, respect different temperaments, and provide consistent, responsible care. I have extensive hands on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, from playful puppies to calm seniors. Over the years, I have helped with walking, feeding, administering medications, teeth brushing, light grooming, and basic training using positive reinforcement. Friends and family regularly trust me as their go to sitter because I prioritize safety, structure, and attentive care. I live in a quiet apartment with my partner and our dog, Koda, a mini dachshund born in 2021. There are no kids in the home. Koda is friendly, social, and ready to have a fur friend around. He is allowed on furniture and sleeps in bed with my partner and me, and visiting dogs are welcome to do the same if that matches their routine at home. Koda is taken out for potty breaks and walks more than three times a day and is fed three times a day, and I follow the same level of care and consistency for visiting pups. I am happy to stick to your dog’s existing feeding, walking, and sleep schedule rather than expecting them to adjust to mine. I work from home Wednesday through Friday and am fully available those days, as well as most weekends. I am in office Mondays and Tuesdays and unavailable those days, which is reflected in my schedule. When I step out briefly, dogs are safely crated, and I return within a reasonable amount of time to let both your pup and my own out. During boarding stays, dogs enjoy structured walks, regular potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment based on their energy level and preferences. My goal is to provide a calm, clean, and predictable environment where dogs feel comfortable and cared for. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Dogs spend most of their time indoors with me in a clean, well maintained apartment, with plenty of outdoor time for walks and fresh air. I do require dogs to be crate trained, as crates are used for safety during rest periods or brief outings. I believe owners know their dogs best, so I always welcome detailed notes about routines, preferences, and anything that helps your dog feel at home. I am happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you are away. Requirements for boarding with me: • Dogs must be crate trained • Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, proof required • Dogs must be on flea and heartworm prevention • Dogs new to boarding in a home with another dog may require a meet and greet I work from home Wednesdays through Fridays and am fully available those days to provide attentive, consistent care. I am typically home on weekends as well and available for boarding during that time. I work in office on Mondays and Tuesdays and am unavailable those days, which is reflected in my Rover calendar. When I do step out briefly on evenings or weekends, dogs are safely crated and I always return within a reasonable amount of time to let both your pup and my own out. If my availability changes, my Rover schedule will always be kept up to date so you know exactly when I am available. I live in a clean, quiet apartment with my partner and our miniature dachshund, Koda, born in 2021. There are no kids in the home. Dogs are treated as part of the family and are allowed on furniture and in the bed if that matches their routine at home. Safety is always my top priority. I provide a calm, structured environment and closely supervise all interactions. Dogs are never left unattended with unfamiliar pets, and I take time to ensure proper introductions and comfort levels. I follow each dog’s individual routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, and rest. Dogs are taken out multiple times a day and receive regular exercise and mental enrichment. When I step out briefly, dogs are safely crated for their comfort and security. I am very communicative and happy to provide updates and photos so you feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care.
“Jose was great able to do a booking last minute. He also sent pics and updates how Simba was doing. His kids loved playing with Simba and he was such a respectful host. I will definitely be using him again!”

“Wow! Clara was great and her puppy was seeet to Jamaal. Her place was immaculately clean and Clara obviously loves dogs and was very thorough in wanting to know exactly what Jamaal needed for the day. Jamaal stayed all day with them when I was in a meeting in town and I will definitely use her as a sitter for Jamaal the next time I’m in Dallas. Thank you, Clara!”

Thuy was amazing! Plenty of updates on how my pup was doing since it was his first time there. Videos and pictures…absolutely loved all of them! Gave me peace of mind. My dog can be skittish about someone new. But he walked right up to her and followed her into the back yard without a look back at me. I’ve tried a few daycare & boarding places recently and just wasn’t happy with them. I will definitely book with her again and highly recommend her!

Our Oliver had another 4 days of absolute fun with Celeste and her sweet little Tula! Lots of fun time, walks, treats and belly rubs.......Oliver has been in wonderful caring and loving hands with Celeste and having Celeste's cute & adorableTula to play with is the icing on the cake!! Celeste always sends pictures and updates on Oliver and Oliver is very comfortable at Celeste's and is always ready to go back. Thank you Celeste, Cesar and Tula for the excellent care and a wonderful experience for Oliver every single time!! Celeste goes over and above in making our fur babies feel comfortable and at home! We could not ask for a better care giver for our Oliver and 100% recommend Celeste and her excellent and loving care for all precious fur babies! 🥰🥰🥰🌻🌻🌻

Dakota had such a great first doggy daycare experience with Lauren and her sweet Goldendoodle, Remi! As a first-timer, I was a little nervous, but Lauren made everything so easy and reassuring. Dakota clearly had an amazing time and came home happy, tired, and well cared for. Lauren was super easy to communicate with, and I felt really comfortable leaving Dakota with her. I loved the photos and updates! We hope to set up more day care/play dates in the future!

We love Ivanna!!!! She’s very attentive with Buddy (he’s 8 weeks old). She gave him so much love! Whatever she did, keep doing it. When we got home, he was more active and not just following me around. He wasn’t playing with his toys prior to his visit, but now he’s extremely playful with us and his toys. He’s calmer in his kennel and less anxious. Ivanna, you are AMAZING! We will be going to Ivanna regularly , and if you have an anxious dog or a puppy, Ivanna is the one you need.

Lily loved playing with Mariah's Kobe, but tuckered out early from so much play. Lily is part Newfie so has separation anxiety. Mariah was loving and attentive to her. She sent me pics of Lily which was reassuring. Her kids are young but seem to take big dogs in stride. I would highly recommend Mariah. I will definitely be requesting her services again in the future. Thanks, Mariah, for taking such good care of Lily.

Not only did Julianna and her husband accept a late request, they took the best care of my puppy Miley. I even had to ask if they could watch her longer and there was no hesitation. My dog is definitely excited to go back and play with their dog!! Communication was amazing, pictures were so fun to look at, and they went above and beyond!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Hebron commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
