About: I’ve been around dogs and many other animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve trained my own dogs basic commands using patience and positive reinforcement. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Whether your dog enjoys an energetic walk, extra playtime, or a slower pace with plenty of sniff breaks, I’ll provide care that’s tailored to their needs. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and will always communicate with updates and photos so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I love incorporating pet care into my week because spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy. My mornings are especially flexible since my workday doesn’t begin until 10:00 a.m., making me available for early walks, potty breaks, and drop-in visits when many pet parents need them most. Whether it’s an early morning adventure or a midday stroll, I make sure every pet gets quality time, attention, exercise, and plenty of love. I value consistency and communication, so you can count on me to show up on time and keep you updated every step of the way. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, energy level, and routine so they feel comfortable with me. During walks, I stay alert to our surroundings, use secure leash handling, and avoid unsafe situations or overly crowded areas. In your home, I’ll respect your space while following all care instructions carefully, including feeding, fresh water, medications (if needed), and locking up securely before I leave.
“Pacita and her husband took an amazing job dog sitting Sadie! I felt relaxed and confident Sadie was doing well. I was updated frequently with pictures and notes on how she was doing with the other dogs. I will definitely request Pacita to love Sadie again soon!”

“Yen and David were amazing with my dog, Penny! Their communication from the start was excellent - Yen sent plenty of photo updates, which really put me at ease while Penny was in a new environment. It was clear she was in great hands, and that their dog Bailey was a calm, easy companion who helped her settle in. You can truly tell that Yen and David love what they do. I would highly recommend and will definitely book with them again!”

“Jala was super fast to connect and flexible. She took great care of my dog, due to flight delays she was able to extend the stay for my dog with grace and kindness. Strongly recommended. Thank you”

“I can't express enough about how awesome Joy was throughout this whole process! I was super nervous about leaving my young puppy with a sitter but she was amazing and her communication put me at ease :) I definitely would reccomend her!”

“Georgina, was an awesome sitter. She went above and beyond for Milano. I love that she kept me informed about his day by pictures and just regular messages letting me know he was doing okay. I knew it was going to be a great stay for him when he took off to her as though he knew her his whole life. Its hard for him to warm up to people. Lol that being said I will for sure book her again she is the real deal. Thank you so much.”

“Micheal and Britney took amazing care of our 6 month old energetic puppy. He had tons of play time and amazing care over the weekend and we received many updates and videos while we were gone! We will definitely book with them again!”

“Delana was the best!! Very good with our dog, Gemi. Plenty of tender loving care. You could tell Gemi was happy from the pictures Delana shared. Our dog was a member of their family. We will definitely request her again and hope she is available.”

“Blanca and her boyfriend are very genuine and caring! They have two dogs of their own and you can tell that they would do anything for them. From the moment I met Blanca, I knew my Waffles would be in great hands! She sent me photos and videos and kept me updated on how things were going. I was running behind on dropping him off and she was very understanding and easy going. They are very active and love to take your dog for a walk, go to the dog park and play in the back yard with them. I already scheduled to book them again for an upcoming trip and will be using them for future trips to come! Y’all are the best, thanks again!”

About: Growing up, my family had a Beagle named Chloe, who we adopted as a tiny pup. Later, we rescued an Australian Shepherd who quickly became my best buddy. I loved bathing him, taking him on walks, feeding him, and teaching him new tricks. When I moved to Texas in 2021, I stayed with a family who had a pit mix named Rosie. She immediately attached herself to me and I to her. When I moved out on my own, they allowed me to take me with her and she became my baby girl who did everything with me! In January 2026, I adopted my second dog, Raffi, another pit mix. He is a snuggle bug and very high energy. Rosie and him instantly became best friends and he was exactly the addition to the family that we needed! I am currently a Special Education Teacher in Lewisville ISD and am looking for something easy and meaningful to do over the summer- like caring for animals! Because of that I have a super flexible schedule during the summer months, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, or pet sitting. Once the school year begins, I will still have flexible availability on weeknights and weekends. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and love providing them with attention, care, and companionship while their owners are away. I will care for your pet as if they were my own dog- with love, attention, pets, and treats if they’re allowed :) If I am house sitting, I treat your home as if it were my own.
“Melky and Jorge were fabulous! We left our 3 pups with them for a few days over the Christmas holiday. It was a last minute decision and our regular sitter was fully booked. Melky send a lot of photos every day showing the pups were having a good time, eating well, and having fun. When we got back, I went to pick them up. They were happy to see me but they kinda wanted to stay there longer. We will re-book with them for sure.”

Deandra is always a delight! I feel completely comfortable leaving my two doggos with her! She does a wonderful job of filling me in on how their day is going and of any potential issues. Not only does she give them plenty of time out side, and plenty of attention overall, she takes amazing photos! I’m going to have to find a frame for some of them! I definitely feel confident recommending her!
Rachel and her family went above and beyond for Scout this week! They took great care of him all week and then when our travel was severely disrupted they kept him longer for us and were very accommodating to our constantly changing schedule. I can tell he loved being there with them!

We are so thankful to have found Bryn to watch our pups while we were away! She took such good care of them, that they didn’t want to leave! Sometimes it takes a day or so for our girls to warm up to strangers, but Bryn was so awesome that they warmed up to her super quickly and made themselves comfortable. She checked in regularly with updates and pictures and followed care instructions. If she had any questions, she made sure to ask. She has a wonderful area to take them out and walk them, that is very pet friendly! Our girls loved sitting out on the patio just watching everyone go by. They were given lots of love during their stay and we couldn’t be happier with the service Bryn provided!

Shallu was amazing, she accommodated my last minute request. This was my dog's first time being boarded through Rover, and it was a wonderful experience! I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I would definitely book again.

I’m so happy with the care my dog received! She stayed for a week and came back very happy, calm and on a good sleeping and eating schedule. It was clear she was loved and kept in a healthy routine. I really appreciate the wonderful care and would absolutely recommend her!

Such an amazing sitter. She’s so smart and knows how to handle dogs. She’s also the sweetest person I’ve ever met. Our dog has never really stayed anywhere before due to shelter anxiety, but Frances knew how to handle him and also care for him. If you need to find and trust a sitter, she’s the one!

Kaley and her family took wonderful care of Alfie. He had never been boarded before and gets very nervous when he’s away from us, but she made the whole experience so much easier. She kept me updated, sent pictures, and he looked genuinely happy. I would definitely trust her to watch Alfie again.

I did a last minute booking with Nicholas, and it was great! He was extremely flexible with my schedule which was really appreciated. He provided me with pictures and updates. My baby looked very happy and he was well taken care of!! I highly recommend Nicholas and will use him again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
