“Ashley was great and reliable! Our cat loved that she would make time to sit with him and give him lots of pets and treats! Always responsive when we had questions, and we never had to worry about our cat while we were away. She is awesome!”

About: I’ve been helping friends and family care for their dogs since I was in elementary school, from daily evening walks to boarding them for long trips. I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds from a Yorkie to a German shepherd and have loved them all immensely. I currently work a full time job but have evenings and weekends completely available. I’d love to get off of work and spend time walking your dog in the evening! I have a fenced yard with turf and a covered patio for time outside. Inside has plenty of room for zoomies and a big dog bed to cuddle up on.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old, giving me years of hands-on experience. I provide reliable, loving care and treat every pet like family. I always love to start or end my day with a walk and playtime—it is my favorite way to unwind and stay active every day. In my home, pets get a safe, clean, and cozy environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and walks. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, and keep routines consistent. In a client’s home, I respect their space and care for pets exactly as instructed—maintaining their comfort, safety, and normal habits while giving them lots of love and exercise.
About: Dogs have always been part of my life! I’d love to give your dog the same care I’d want for my own—friendly, reliable, and trustworthy! While I work a standard 9–5 schedule during the week, I have great availability before and after work and am completely open on weekends. For extended stays, a lunchtime visit may also be an option. I know every dog has different needs, and I’m always happy to work with owners to find a schedule that works well for everyone. I follow your pet’s normal routine, providing walks, meals, playtime, potty breaks, medication if needed, and plenty of love, attention! I know how important our pets are, so I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and provide the best care. I understand that attention to detail matters, and I’ll make every effort to ensure your dog receives the exact care you’ve requested so you can be away with confidence and peace of mind. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos along the way!

“We are happy with the care of our challenging pups! She made sure the job got done no matter how resistant my pups were and took lots of photos of them. We will definitely consider using her services again in the future :)”

“John did a great job. He look after our cat for 5 days. My cat was happy with him. Food bowls were filled, water fountain was clean and litter was also clean. I will be glad to book him again.”

“Marybeth did great with the "boys" they were happy and thrived at home versus going to a kennel while I was gone. Marybeth kept me up to date on what was going on with both dogs and I received texts and pics from each check in.”

About: I have loved dogs since I was old enough to learn what they are. I have been around dogs since I was a kid. I helped my parents raise a puppy for my grandmother when I was younger. During COVID I spent my time raising my family dog. During my adult life I have volunteered at the Aggieland Humane Society and enjoyed my time there. I love meeting new dogs, taking care of animals and helping people with their pets. For this summer I am only focusing on my online college courses, so I have an empty schedule that I am hoping to fill with meeting dogs. I approach dogs gently, and let them set the tone for our meeting. If the dog does not want me to pet them, I will only do what I need to so that I can take them on a walk. If a dog is energetic, I will play with them in the backyard or a large area. I also am good at following directions and will enjoy completing the directions the owner has left.
“We loved Ashley!! So kind with our pets! Very patient and followed instructions well. We truly enjoyed getting the pictures from her! We will always use her! Dont know why we haven’t u tik now! lol”

I can definitely pass any background check and very reliable. I wake up early and like to be up late at night. I love walks, hikes, swimming and biking. I’m also great at dog cuddles and any upkeep in training you are doing. I have one dog and she has her own kennel. I prefer you bring your own kennel if you’re going to board over night. I can walk your dog alone and give them their own attention as well. I’m happy to stick to your routines that are laid out and communicate about it before hand thoroughly. I will be available for your calls as well in case of emergencies. If I miss a call I will get back to you right away.
About: Since I started caring for clients' cats and dogs, I have been very happy with my work. I really love animals. When I care for my clients' pets, I pay close attention to them by monitoring, playing with, and petting them. Most pets and I have a very close connection. I have a lot of experience caring for multiple pets at once. If I am house-sitting your dog or cat, you can be sure that I will leave your home as I found it. I take pride in cleaning up after myself before leaving a client's home. Pet sitting is my full time job. I often balance visiting clients pets on the same day. When I stay at a client's house, I give the pets plenty of attention and play with them. I adapt to whatever home environment i'm in for pet sitting. My goal is to make the pet feel at home in its own home. I take great pride in leaving your home in the same condition you left it when my time with your pet is done.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
