About: I have had dogs for 25+ years. They're a part of my everyday existence. I was primary caretaker for the last three dogs for ten years. I have successfully trained and retrained all of them "post adoption", and then again at every three year mark. I'm the "dog whisperer" in our family. Dogs are "better" judges of character than most humans, and they love me! I will treat your fur baby with the same level of love, attention, and care that I treat my own. I walk my own before the sun comes up, and again at night if its below 90. We do little training sets anytime behavior starts to slip. I take care of my aging parents, which occupies a few hours in the mornings and evenings. Outside of that, I am more than willing and able to take the proper time, attention, and effort that your pet needs and deserves. I can be flexible with your scheduling needs. Sometimes life is busy, but the "babies" still need prioritization. I have a fenced yard with a dozen grown oak trees for shade and yard play. There is also a pool where my current dog enjoys a morning cool down swim! Dog care in my home is very routine. Feeding and walking times are on a consistent daily schedule. All pills are marked clearly for time and dosage. I keep the treats to a minimum based on daily activity. I/we do treat them a bit more like "people" than dogs. They ARE family to us. We have never had a health or safety related "incident" that would fall outside the normal scope of animal health. Our family dogs have all lived long, happy, healthy lives. We spare no expense. They get what they need and then some, just as if they were a child.

I can definitely pass any background check and very reliable. I wake up early and like to be up late at night. I love walks, hikes, swimming and biking. I’m also great at dog cuddles and any upkeep in training you are doing. I have one dog and she has her own kennel. I prefer you bring your own kennel if you’re going to board over night. I can walk your dog alone and give them their own attention as well. I’m happy to stick to your routines that are laid out and communicate about it before hand thoroughly. About: Dogs are a big part of our lives! I've been caring for other families' dogs for the past 3 years and have spent my entire life around dogs, both my own and within my family. My fiancé and I are home full-time, which allows us to provide plenty of attention and flexibility to match your pet's routine and needs. We have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may need extra patience and care. Your pup will receive plenty of affection, playtime, walks, treats (with your approval), and cuddles while staying with us. I am currently in a hybrid nursing school program, and my fiancé works from home, so we are both home full-time. We are able to let the dogs out, play with them, and walk them at any time. We live in a home with a fenced backyard and an open floor plan. There are many places for your dog to explore and play with our dogs :)

I also respect your home by keeping everything clean, tidy, and exactly how you left it. In my home (if you plan to offer this): If a pet stays in my home, they receive constant attention as pet care is my full-time work. Pets get regular bathroom breaks, structured feeding times, and lots of love and engagement throughout the day. Mucking stalls, walking dogs, house sitting, and caring for animals (dogs, cats, cows, and more) was my main source of income from childhood into my late teens. I work a full-time job (8–5, Monday through Friday) as a food equipment rep, but I am available most evenings and weekends. While I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, she currently stays with my mom to keep her dog company while I'm living in an apartment—so I love having the opportunity to spend time with and care for other animals! I have previously owned horses, a Doberman, a Labrador, a German Shepherd, and other large breeds—plus plenty of experience raising puppies! When the pandemic started, I also fostered some dogs before “failing” and adopting my current love bug Lucky :) I do work full time but work from home so have some flexibility to ensure your pet a key priority and can always adjust my schedule as needed I have a fenced yard and a 30 pound dog. He is used to other dogs (my two other dogs crossed the rainbow bridge last year) so having another pet around would be familiar for him. He is neutered.
