“Kaitlyn did a wonderful job taking care of Zeke, my Senior Jack Russell Terrior. He can be aggressive with new people but Kaitlyn connected with him. She made sure he had food and was let outside to potty. When he was alone, he made a couple of potty mistakes that she cleaned up on her visits. I highly recommend Kaitlyn and will user her again for future visits!”

About: “I have volunteered at many dog shelters throughout my life, walking, feeding and playing with them. When I was 16 I started dog sitting for my neighbor and also worked at a ranch where they bred australian shepherds and had to feed, walk and help with the puppies. Animals are a huge part of my life and my dogs are my top priority. I currently volunteer at SPCA in Dallas, as well as caring for my own dogs. I love caring for animals and am grateful I have the ability to help others care for their pets! I currently live in an apartment with a high energy Australian Shepherd. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity, especially during the hotter months where being outside for long periods can be tricky. I am also familiar with caring for/walking senior dogs.
“Tristan was amazing! Our front door can be a little hard to open, and we were unfortunately unreachable at the time - she was persistent to get in and wasn’t going to leave until our boys were taken care of! Will 100% be using her again.”

“Above and beyond! Erin came to the rescue last minute. She was very communicative. She tended to Charlie like her own pup. She stopped by 3 times all very last minute due to issues with my dog sitter unexpectedly being unavailable while I was out of town. I look forward to working with her again. Highly recommend!”

“I can't recommend Kathleen enough! Her punctuality and reliability gave me complete peace of mind while I was out of state helping my father recover after his surgery. Thank you!”

About: I've been an animal lover and owner my entire life, there's only a very short time I've ever not had a dog. I've raised puppies, fostered dogs, including pregnant and nursing mamas. My dog Capy started out as just a foster when she was pregnant, I helped her whelp and fostered her until all her pups were adopted, and then she became our foster failure and joined our family. I’ve also cared for my aging dogs in their senior years. I also have had birds, parakeets and cockatiels, and I’m also comfortable caring for small mammals and reptiles. There’s nothing I won’t do for any animal! I'm a stay at home mom to a school aged child and a toddler. My schedule is very open and flexible for whatever is needed. I am allergic to cats, so I cannot visit homes with them. I will feed, water, play, and give lots of affection to your dog while visiting, or just let them in and out if they don't like non family members. I will freshen water and do whatever else is needed.

My genuine love for dogs drives me to prioritize their comfort, safety, and enjoyment, making me a reliable and affectionate pet sitter for your beloved canine companions. Incorporating pet care seamlessly into my routine is a top priority. Working a full-time schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, I ensure your furry companions are cared for attentively. Early mornings and evenings are dedicated to walks, playtime, feeding, and quality interaction. During my lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, I provide a midday walk and bathroom break to break up the day for your pets. Additionally, with a hybrid work option, I can offer even more flexibility and attention to your pet's needs, guaranteeing a happy and well-cared-for experience Ensuring safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for pets is my utmost priority. In both my home and my client's home, I maintain a pet-friendly space free of hazards. I conduct a thorough pet-proofing to eliminate potential dangers and create a secure setting
About: I’m a professional grooming salon manager with a lifelong passion for both dogs and cats. While my primary expertise is in canine grooming, I also have extensive experience caring for felines and understand their unique personalities and needs. I believe every pet deserves gentle, knowledgeable care, and I bring that philosophy to every client I work with. At home, I care for four amazing dogs: two Chihuahuas, a German Shepherd, and a Miniature Schnauzer. I also have an 8-year-old cat named Cassie, who has been with me since she was a kitten. Each of them has their own distinct temperament, and they’ve taught me how to approach every pet with patience, compassion, and respect. My hands-on experience with a variety of breeds and personalities allows me to provide calm, personalized care tailored to both dogs and cats. I currently work full-time as the manager of a grooming salon, where I’m dedicated to providing high-quality care and service to both pets and their owners. I’m now looking to take on additional work during my free time to earn extra income doing what I love most — caring for animals. With a deep passion for my own pets and a genuine love for animals of all kinds, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m deeply committed to the well-being of animals and will always go above and beyond to ensure they receive the care and compassion they deserve. With extensive knowledge of pet care and grooming needs, I bring both experience and dedication to every animal I work with. Whether it’s providing grooming services or general care, I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

About: Friends and family have had me dog sit and house sit for their pets a long time. I’m very friendly and responsible and dogs tend to love me! I can be flexible about dates and times and sure you and your pets get quality care. I’m currently a college student and plan to pet sit over the summer to pay for school. I manage a balanced schedule of school and work. If you need me to pet sit, I’m flexible and adaptable with my schedule for your pet’s care. I can guarantee quality care for you and your pet(s)! I have experience in pet care in my clients home. The pets are more comfortable in their usual home environment. I usually check for doors and gates to be locked throughout the day and make sure pets feel safe in their environment. I adapt easily depending on the environment for the best care and maintain routine based off each pet.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 18. I volunteered at a vet, raised a pit bull who lived to be almost 16. I currently have 5 dogs, 2 Guinea pigs, and a Flemish Giant Rabbit. I have handled senior care, have handled shots on dogs, and aggressive animals. I am just looking for extra money to help my family. I have so much love to give to animals and just want to provide that for other animals while their parents are gone. I currently have a full time, remote job. My job is very flexible so I am able to take breaks to love on other animals . I currently take care of our 8 animals I truly believe in that all animals just need love, attention, and someone who will play with them. I will provide care in your own home. We will go on walks, play in the yard, have treats, hugs, play fetch, and just provide the attention that they long for.
About: Leaving your beloved pet with someone is never easy but you can rest assured they will be in great hands and very well taken care of with our family! We've taken care of all types of animals (young and old/big and small). Family and friends have relied on me for years to watch, feed, walk, bathe and cuddle their animals when they are away. We have two boys (age 13 and 9) that are amazing with all animals and will give your pet lots of love and attention during their stay. Our most recent dog was 14 years old and sick for quite some time which required extra senior pup care and attention. Currently we do not have a dog of our own but have turtles, a tree frog and a chameleon (all in enclosures). My number one priority is not only that your dog is safe and happy but also that you have a stress free time away knowing they feel at home in our home. Both my kids are in school full time so I'd be happy to help on weekdays for walking services, drop ins or doggy day care. Weekends will be available on a case by case basis unless obviously it's for boarding services. If dropping your pet at my home, I have a fenced yard and a wonderful walking trail in my neighborhood for outdoor exercise for your pet.
About: I'm a huge animal lover, and have had everything from cats and dogs to ferrets and fish! I've always watched over other people's animals for as long as I can remember and love every moment of it! From cuddling with a lazy fur baby to going on long runs to let out some energy, I've always been able to match any pets energy! I am a full time college student currently studying at NCTC! I'm usually free for the most part if not in class or the weekends where I get most of my studying and homework out of the way! I'm always willing to abide by any house rules you may have or areas that are off limits or need extra eyes on. I'm more than happy to crate dogs and make sure cats try not to scratch up furniture!
“Michael was AMAZING with our cat. She is very shy and Michael was great to just let her do her own thing while making sure she was taken care of. We feel so good about being able to travel and know she is in good hands.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
