About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and pet owner with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve had a dog for the past 17 years and have cared for cats since 2003, giving me decades of experience with daily pet care routines, feeding, walking, administering basic care, and understanding animal behavior. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away, and I treat every pet like part of the family. My 12-year-old daughter also loves animals and enjoys helping with playtime, walks, and giving pets extra attention and affection (always under my supervision). We’re excited to provide reliable, loving pet care this summer! I’m a preschool teacher during the school year, but I will be off for the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’ll have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, playtime, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and giving pets lots of attention throughout the day. Because I’ll be home most of the time, I’m able to provide reliable, consistent care and make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-loved while their owners are away. Pets staying in our home will be treated like part of the family! We have a secure fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, plus plenty of room inside to relax and feel comfortable. We also have a friendly dog named Bear who loves to play with other dogs but is also very calm and relaxed when it’s time to rest. Our cat has been around dogs his whole life and is very comfortable sharing the home with pets. I make sure all pets receive lots of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection while keeping their normal routines as consistent as possible so they feel safe and happy during their stay.
“Jackie and Lambert are Outstanding! Very good communication, friendly, and listened to every single detail on what our Yoshi is accustomed to. We feel very comfortable the moment we met them and Yoshi does too and that’s very important to us!! Thank you Jackie and Lambert! Yoshi will see you both again soon! ?❤️”

“Our Lucy was so well cared for at Crystal's home, treated like one of the family. We got daily pictures and updates, which enhanced our vacation and relived our hearts to see her sweet face. Crystal replied quickly to our messages and was accommodating to our schedule. We will definitely try to schedule Lucy to stay with Crystal for all upcoming trips.”

“Sabrina was awesome with our dog and he seemed to really enjoy his time with Sabrina and her family. I would highly recommend Sabrina and I will definitely be using her services in the future.”

“Thank you so much! Buddy loves staying with your family! We are able to enjoy our time away in full confidence that he is safe and having a great time! We call your place "Buddy's resort vaca"!!!!!”

Cat caregivers near you - Double Oak
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life at home. Formally, I’ve done dog sitting and cat sitting for a few years and I love to do it! Making sure that animals are cared for and happy is something I’m passionate about. I currently work part-time. I can care for your animals any time on Saturdays, and Sundays. Weekday visits could work if you are local to me or it would be a drop-in during the morning and evening. For my own dog, I make sure that I play with her for at least 30 minutes a day, besides all of the usual feedings, and cuddles. She loves learning new commands so we usually practice her little routine which includes: Sit, Shake paw, Lay down, Roll over, Jump for treat, and Speak.
“We have been using Victoria for pet sitting for a while now. She has taken care of our many pets many times. She is extremely reliable and takes extremely good care of them. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Katelyn did a wonderful job taking care of our golden retriever and 3 cats. She came to our house for 3 visits a day and gave our dog walks, played with the kitties, and took care of their food and cleaning. They were all happy and calm when we returned and the house was in order, which was great. I also found Katelyn to be great with communication around any questions she had and she kept us updated by text and with pictures on how our pets were doing each day. I hope to use Katelyn again in the future!”

“I had not ever used Rover prior to this visit. Carole was amazing. She was reliable and came every day, twice a day. I have one cat, Dixie, who is not friendly to strangers, but Carole’s relationship with her made us very happy. Dixie let her pet her and even came out to see her. The pictures were wonderful to see and made leaving them a little bit easier. We will be using Carole again for our next trip.”

“I have already reviewed Annie, but she deserves some more recognition for my last booking. I flew to PA to get married and then went on my honeymoon and Annie watched my cat for 15 days. She came by everyday and her rover cards always made me feel confident Willow was happy and well taken care of. She left the apartment clean, exactly how I had left it, and I will definitely be booking her again for any future trips!”
“Absolutely outstanding pet sitter! Very friendly, kind and reliable. She took excellent care of our many pets and we will definitely be contacting her again. A+ all the way!!!”

“Wendy has now watched my cat multiple times, and it is clear from the photos Wendy sends me just how much my cat likes her. Wendy is a true animal lover. I look forward to getting each photo of my cat having funwhile I’m away!”

“Julie is smart, contentious, dependable. I really appreciate how she was receptive to any of our dogs needs. She was reliable and dependable. I would love for her to take care of my dog anytime.!”

“We love working with Alex! We have 2 cats, one of which is not a fan of meeting new people so it really says a lot when we come home from vacation and find this particular cat voluntarily coming down the stairs thinking it’s the sitter - with past sitters, she would stay hidden until she realized it was us. Thank you for taking such good care of the girls, Alex!”

“I had an amazing experience with Cheryl as my pet sitter! She took care of my cat, Abu, for a few days, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Cheryl went above and beyond to ensure Abu was happy and safe. He can be a bit shy, but he really warmed up to her, which says a lot about her gentle and caring character. Not only did she keep Abu well-fed and entertained, but she also kept his litter box spotless and my apartment super clean. It was a relief to know he was being taken care of well. Cheryl was reliable, communicative, and clearly has a special bond with cats. I’ll definitely be rebooking her for future trips. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable pet sitter.”

“Our cat was recovering from a shattered claw so I was hesitant to leave, but Jessica and Zeke took absolutely EXCELLENT care of him: reliable, kind, responsive, and caring. Hope we can work with them every time we're out of town.”

“Michael was AMAZING with our cat. She is very shy and Michael was great to just let her do her own thing while making sure she was taken care of. We feel so good about being able to travel and know she is in good hands.”

“Matt is very quick to respond, follows my neurotic instructions to the T and goes above and beyond. He is very flexible and sends lots of pics. He fed my cats while I went away. I felt very nervous at first knowing that a stranger was in my house, but his sweet demeanor put me at ease and my cameras verified that he is trustworthy. My one cat usually doesnt like people but warmed up to him super quick! I was pleasantly surprised. If Gizmo approves then he must be a good person. I will definitely be requesting Matt's services in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for his services.”

“This was my dog, Finnley’s, first time staying here and he had a great time! Grace and Devin were awesome during our meet and greet, daycare, and then with dropping off Finnley at the end of the day! I loved that they provided updates (photos too). I chose to book with them over someone else because of their experience with dog training and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend them and definitely will be booking with them again :)”

About: I have had a love for all kinds of pets since I was a child. I like throwing the ball for my labrador retriever and enjoy play time as much as she does. Taking dogs for walks and making sure they get enough stimulation during the day is very important to me. I am retired from owning my own business for over 40 years. I have plenty of time to play and love on your furry family member. They will have so much fun at my home and in the large fenced in yards. My labrador has never met a dog she didn't love playing with. I have 2 fenced in yards. If your furry friend enjoys their alone time, they can play in their own fenced yard or I also have a crate for good napping and quiet time. Lots of flexible options including dog beds in our spacious home. Will always keep dogs inside when temperatures are uncomfortable outside.
“Crystal really helped me out in the clutch! I needed two last minute bookings and Captain loved playing with her and her dogs! Crystal gave him lots of love and even helped reinforce the training that we are working on. We will definitely be staying with Crystal again!”

About: First, to be honest, I haven’t have any pet since I moved to the U.S. 4 years ago. But I have several pets (dogs and cats) when I was an elementary school student in Vietnam. Since my friend asked me to be their dog sister when they’ re on business trip, my childhood memories was unlocked about some fur friends. Hopefully, we can help your buddies feel lessen loneliness when you are busy out there. Currently I’m studying courses on weekdays and working a part time job on weekends (6hrs/shift). These schedules make me flexible to care on new friends regularly. The main reason for my Rover profile is making new friends with dogs to make connections. I treat them as a family company so they are with me while I’m doing work, gardening or jogging. Being their companies not only as a sitter but also a new friend is my privilege on Rover! I have a fenced big backyard so friends can enjoy their sunbath time or potty break whenever they want to do it. I’m very concerned on how to treat them comfortably so please instruct me know how to do it.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for some time now. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, play, cuddle… basically take care of their pets when they are away or busy. They have comfort knowing their pet is safe and happy with me. I work with Hypoallergenic dogs breeds. Anywhere from small to medium dogs up to 40 lbs I’m currently working from home. So I’ll have plenty of time to be a companion for your pet and keep an eye on them from the comfort of being home. I have a fenced yard, keeping your pet safe. Take them for walks. Will work with you and your pets needs and any specific routine that they are used to.
About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my personal experience and deep understanding of what it takes to provide loving, responsible care. I’ve successfully trained two dogs of my own, so I understand the patience and attention puppies or even older dogs require. As a dog owner myself, I know the most valuable gift is peace of mind—being able to travel or be away from your furry family member, knowing they’re in a safe, caring, and attentive environment. I bring that same level of care and responsibility to every dog I look after, treating them as if they were my own. Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine, as I work part-time and care for my two loving Shelties who are a big part of my life. They require regular attention, so I make sure to walk them twice a day, provide frequent playtime, and ensure they have consistent potty breaks throughout the day. My schedule allows me to be fully present for their needs, and this same care and attention extend to any dogs I look after. Whether it’s play, walks, or simply making sure they’re comfortable, pet care is truly a priority in my day-to-day life. In my home, I provide a safe, loving, and fun environment for pets. I have a fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy plenty of supervised exercise and playtime. My two loving and playful Shelties are great companions and will keep your fur baby active and entertained. For dogs that require specific boundaries or downtime, I can easily accommodate by crating them or using a playpen as needed. My goal is to ensure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and at ease while they’re with me.

About: Leaving your beloved pet with someone is never easy but you can rest assured they will be in great hands and very well taken care of with our family! We've taken care of all types of animals (young and old/big and small). Family and friends have relied on me for years to watch, feed, walk, bathe and cuddle their animals when they are away. We have two boys (age 13 and 9) that are amazing with all animals and will give your pet lots of love and attention during their stay. Our most recent dog was 14 years old and sick for quite some time which required extra senior pup care and attention. Currently we do not have a dog of our own but have turtles, a tree frog and a chameleon (all in enclosures). My number one priority is not only that your dog is safe and happy but also that you have a stress free time away knowing they feel at home in our home. Both my kids are in school full time so I'd be happy to help on weekdays for walking services, drop ins or doggy day care. Weekends will be available on a case by case basis unless obviously it's for boarding services. If dropping your pet at my home, I have a fenced yard and a wonderful walking trail in my neighborhood for outdoor exercise for your pet.

About: Hi Y'all, We are Meranda and Josh !! We WANT ALL THE FURRBABIES!!! We have 4 pooches of our own! All of which we have raised from puppies and are sweet and gentle. We have a 7 year old husky named Jager who is so sweet and gentle as well as the head of my lil pack. He is smart and obedient. He is friendly from strangers to puppies alike. He has been the "Father Figure" to our other pups. Obedience, non-aggressive, affectionate are the qualities he has passed on to his siblings. Next up is Bosley. He is a pitbull. The reputation of his breed is completely eliminated upon first impression with him. While he appears to be the strongest, most in-charge of the pack, he is the most submissive and kind. He is afraid of thunderstorms, loud noises, and demands to be cuddled on a daily basis. Koko is actually Bosley's cousin. She has all of the wonderful attributes Bosley does as far as being submissive and kind, but she isn't afraid of thunderstorms and loud noises. Her first response toward other dogs is to be the greeter. She longs to have puppies of her own and that is expressed in her loving, caring nature shown in her love for new friends--especially submissive ones. She has never met a stranger. Last is Whiskey. She is our puppy--An 8 month Belgian German Shepherd. She is playful and fun as any puppy should be. She is a social butterfly. She is still in training and doing great! She is smart as can be and her active instincts make her a very playful companion. She is the "Life of the Party" most of the time. Completely non-aggressive. 100% play, fun and games. Our dogs get all of our attention. They are our children. All of our dogs are kennel trained, but all of them are accustomed to being spoiled one-on-one including sleeping with us as needed when they are needy or scared. Your pup would be no different depending on his/her needs. If we could home all the world's needful dogs we would! If you are looking to socialize your pup in a loving, safe, non-aggressive environment with a variety of dogs then we are your Rover family!

“Chris was so great by keeping us updated daily with notes and pictures that we felt very comfortable and rebooked a second stay for our dog. Chris is really a life saver, can’t thank you enough to be so thoughtful for the well being of my dogs while giving them a great daily routine full of exercice.”
“My Zoey was so anxious and having separation anxiety when I dropped her off and she may have made a few urinal messes in the house. Terry was very patient and friendly to Zoey. She took some time to settle in but he got her calm and happy. Wonderful services and highly recommend”

“Julie had Barkley for a week. When I picked him up he was happy to see me but I'm not sure he was ready to leave. Great experience for myself and Barkley. Will definitely return.”

“Lucy's home is George and Walter's home away from home. It's like leaving your kids with a trusted family member every time the boys stay with Lucy. She's simply amazing!”

“They took great care of my active Catahoula huge backyard and comfortable house. The couple doesn’t speak English, but their daughter was so helpful. Multiple photos and videos were sent over the 4 days! Will definitely be using them again”

“Blanca and her boyfriend are very genuine and caring! They have two dogs of their own and you can tell that they would do anything for them. From the moment I met Blanca, I knew my Waffles would be in great hands! She sent me photos and videos and kept me updated on how things were going. I was running behind on dropping him off and she was very understanding and easy going. They are very active and love to take your dog for a walk, go to the dog park and play in the back yard with them. I already scheduled to book them again for an upcoming trip and will be using them for future trips to come! Y’all are the best, thanks again!”

“Allison and Nicholas were wonderful with our puppy, Rio. They were always responsive and we felt that Rio was very well taken care of. Allison and Nicholas' pups were great playmates and Rio had so much fun! We are looking forward to using Allison and Nicholas again and know that Rio will enjoy her stay!”

“Linda was wonderful! Her home was clean and beautifully kept and her yard was perfect and safe. She's great and prompt with communication, sent a pic every day with an update, and great with our senior dog who was in need of more care than a younger dog, needing meds, diapers, and a watchful eye (unfortunately his nerves gave him a bad stomach one night and she had a lot of yucky clean-up in the middle of the night but was very kind about it and concerned for him) . She was kind and comfortable both with me and my dog. I could tell she's been doing this a while! If you want a doggie grandma, call Linda! Ps: she has 2 dogs, one big/tall (younger) one and one small (senior dog). My dog is social so he was fine with them. They're sweet.”
“Angie was amazing with our 2 dogs. Her home is a great environment for pets, and she was awesome about keeping us informed on how ours were doing. I cannot recommend her enough, and we will definitely be repeat customers.”

“Dolly had a great stay and we had a relaxed trip because we knew she was in caring hands. Lots of pictures received during her stay and Syrah is a great communicator and very responsive and flexible. We will definitely see them again! We can now plan future adventures knowing Dolly will be so well taken care of while we are gone.”

“Glenda took wonderful care of our dog Levi while we were away! She was attentive, easy to communicate with, and clearly great with dogs. We loved getting updates and knowing Levi was in such good hands. Highly recommend Glenda!”

“Our pup loves going to stay with Kylie! Every time we book with her he runs straight in the house because he feels so welcomed! We highly recommend booking with Kylie and plan to continue to bring our pup back!”

“Katie and her family were great! We were able to relax while on vacation knowing that Bentley was in good hands. Katie provided regular updates and was very understanding when we had travel delays. Highly recommend.”
“Paul and Cary have been so wonderful with Milo. Their care is above and beyond, exceptional in every way. Milo was treated like a family member and was very happy being there. We got daily updates, photos and videos and couldn’t have been happier, seeing Milo so joyful. He loves playing with their dog Wendy, walking, playing and relaxing with Paul and Cary. They gave us peace of mind and it was the best decision that we chose them as Milo’s sitters. Thank you so much.”
