“I had an amazing experience with Cheryl as my pet sitter! She took care of my cat, Abu, for a few days, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Cheryl went above and beyond to ensure Abu was happy and safe. He can be a bit shy, but he really warmed up to her, which says a lot about her gentle and caring character. Not only did she keep Abu well-fed and entertained, but she also kept his litter box spotless and my apartment super clean. It was a relief to know he was being taken care of well. Cheryl was reliable, communicative, and clearly has a special bond with cats. I’ll definitely be rebooking her for future trips. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable pet sitter.”

“Kaitlyn did a wonderful job taking care of Zeke, my Senior Jack Russell Terrior. He can be aggressive with new people but Kaitlyn connected with him. She made sure he had food and was let outside to potty. When he was alone, he made a couple of potty mistakes that she cleaned up on her visits. I highly recommend Kaitlyn and will user her again for future visits!”

“Carole did a great job taking care of my 2 cats. Even though one is very shy and hides from strangers, Carole was able to send me a picture of her. The litter box area was in good shape upon my return.”

“Above and beyond! Erin came to the rescue last minute. She was very communicative. She tended to Charlie like her own pup. She stopped by 3 times all very last minute due to issues with my dog sitter unexpectedly being unavailable while I was out of town. I look forward to working with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Derrick was amazing. Our dog loved him and our cat liked him enough to come out of hiding which is rare haha. On time and sent plenty of check in pictures. Will definitely try booking with him for all future needs!!”

“Elizabeth is wonderful! She has helped me out a couple of times now with very short notice, she is wonderful I. Her care, and the animals (dog annd two cats) all love her! Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Kathrine was outstanding, so calming and kind. Hank was well cared for and comfortable while we were gone. She communicated well. So thankful I found Kathrine! I highly recommend her!”

About: I've been an animal lover and owner my entire life, there's only a very short time I've ever not had a dog. I've raised puppies, fostered dogs, including pregnant and nursing mamas. My dog Capy started out as just a foster when she was pregnant, I helped her whelp and fostered her until all her pups were adopted, and then she became our foster failure and joined our family. I’ve also cared for my aging dogs in their senior years. I also have had birds, parakeets and cockatiels, and I’m also comfortable caring for small mammals and reptiles. There’s nothing I won’t do for any animal! I'm a stay at home mom to a school aged child and a toddler. My schedule is very open and flexible for whatever is needed. I am allergic to cats, so I cannot visit homes with them. I will feed, water, play, and give lots of affection to your dog while visiting, or just let them in and out if they don't like non family members. I will freshen water and do whatever else is needed.
“Very friendly and helpful. Even when I accidentally messed up the booking dates. Next time I have to book I will definitely rebook. She was wonderful with the dogs and they loved having her over!”
About: I have hands on experience caring for Labradors, Great Pyrenees, Australian Shepherd mixes, and Bernese Mountain Dogs, and I’m continually learning about other breeds such as Corgis and Siberian Huskies. I’ve cared for dogs for my family and friends and I have a genuine love for giving pets attention, exercise, and comfort. I’m currently balancing a full-time job and college coursework, which allows me to be available for pet care in the evenings on weekdays and throughout weekends. While I don’t currently have dogs of my own, I treat every pet I care for like part of the family, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just lots of cuddles, I’m committed to giving your pets the attention and care they deserve. Your furry friends will be in safe and loving hands! I am currently working a full time job and going to school for a college degree but I will be available during evenings on weekdays and during weekends. I don't own any dogs. But I have experience caring for dogs in my family and I am open to giving your family's the same love and care.
About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have spent a lot of my life caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m currently the proud dog mom to a Great Dane, an Aussiedoodle, and a Cockapoo! I’ve always had a huge love for dogs, and you’ll almost always find one of my babies right by my side! Whether it’s walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care, and I would be honored to give your special babies the same love, attention, and care that I give mine every single day. I work full-time in a remote/hybrid position, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate many pet care needs throughout the week. I’m typically available before work, in the evenings, and have open availability on weekends. Midday visits and walks may also be available depending on the location and scheduling. If you’re unsure whether your requested time will work, feel free to reach out! I’ll always do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priority. I know that every pet has their own routine and personality, and I’ll take the time to learn what makes them feel most comfortable. Whether we’re out for a walk or enjoying a drop-in visit, I’ll treat your home with respect and your pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m happy to follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), favorite playtime routes, and any special requests. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your fur babies are in caring and dependable hands while you’re away.
About: I’ve been petsitting for my friends and neighbours since I was 12, including administering medication, cleaning messes, housekeeping, and most all other common tasks and chores. If there’s a task you need of me that I don’t have experience in, I’d be glad to learn. As of right now I’m still in school, but after graduation (end of May, roughly) I’ll be available nearly 24/7. It’ll be ideal for me not to be scheduled for boarding on Fridays, but I will, of course, if your schedule calls for it! I absolutely value the trust of my clients and the safety of their pets, and will always do everything I can for them to feel they can leave their home and the pets inside it safe and secure with me.

About: I have been a huge dog lover ever since I can remember! I grew up living with dogs my whole life and I have two dogs of my own that I lovlingly take care of. I also have experience pet sitting for friends and neighbors and have taken care of both younger and older dogs. 🐶 I'm a college student at the University of North Texas, so I have a very flexible schedule during breaks! During the school year my schedule will look a little different, but I will still be available to look after your pups! I will gladly send you video and picture updates of your sweet dogs! I am also happy to play with them, give them daily exercise and the loving attention they need. My biggest priority is making sure your dogs are safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I have had a love for all kinds of pets since I was a child. I like throwing the ball for my labrador retriever and enjoy play time as much as she does. Taking dogs for walks and making sure they get enough stimulation during the day is very important to me. I am retired from owning my own business for over 40 years. I have plenty of time to play and love on your furry family member. They will have so much fun at my home and in the large fenced in yards. My labrador has never met a dog she didn't love playing with. I have 2 fenced in yards. If your furry friend enjoys their alone time, they can play in their own fenced yard or I also have a crate for good napping and quiet time. Lots of flexible options including dog beds in our spacious home. Will always keep dogs inside when temperatures are uncomfortable outside.
“Francesca did a superb job, on time, responsive and everything you could ask for in a dog sitter. Highly recommend your dogs will love her as will you! Thank you so much!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 18. I volunteered at a vet, raised a pit bull who lived to be almost 16. I currently have 5 dogs, 2 Guinea pigs, and a Flemish Giant Rabbit. I have handled senior care, have handled shots on dogs, and aggressive animals. I am just looking for extra money to help my family. I have so much love to give to animals and just want to provide that for other animals while their parents are gone. I currently have a full time, remote job. My job is very flexible so I am able to take breaks to love on other animals . I currently take care of our 8 animals I truly believe in that all animals just need love, attention, and someone who will play with them. I will provide care in your own home. We will go on walks, play in the yard, have treats, hugs, play fetch, and just provide the attention that they long for.
“I am so grateful we found Susan! She went above and beyond checking in on our kitty while we were away for a week. It was evident that she takes pride in her pet sitting duties and genuinely cares about the animal she is taking care of. Thanks so much for loving our sweet boy, always keeping us in the know, and sending the cutest photos! Hope to book with you again in the future.”

Pancho had a wonderful time! She took great care of him, kept him entertained, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. It was clear that Pancho had lots of fun and was well looked after. I would definitely trust her to watch him again. Thank you for taking such good care of my little guy!

Hey Jade! My best friend wanted me to give to a review, and I was like duh.... Amazing experience auth Jade! Best in sitter in FloMo. We love going in walks and Jade hooked us up everyday. We didn't even have to ask. While my best friend was away for work shes showed up on time to the minute. Some of the best head scratching and pets. Kept us safe during the storm to. We were so happy to see her that day. Hopefully this is more frequent. Not that I want best friend to leave but knowing Jade will come day hi, feel better about it! - Mika Sheppard Mills

Amanda truly saved the day for us! We had a last-minute change of plans and couldn’t take our pups—2-year-old Max and 10-year-old Tanner—with us on a trip. Since our dogs had never been boarded or had a sitter before, we were understandably nervous. But Amanda put us at ease right away. She was professional, experienced, and incredibly intuitive. She made a quick and positive impression on our cranky chihuahua Tanner (no small feat!) and figured out how to manage our energetic border collie Max in no time. Her calm demeanor and confidence made all the difference. We highly recommend Amanda and will absolutely be using her services again. She’s a lifesaver!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
