“Andrea took great care of our dogs and home! We have a rambunctious pitbull and a senior beagle mix and she was able to accommodate both of their unique needs. Our home was just as we left it which is always so appreciated. We also received frequent updates and pictures. I would not hesitate to use Andrea again!”

“Symone is amazing! Flexible, very good with my dog, consistent updates. It was clear he was very happy and relaxed. I'll absolutely book her again and cannot recommend her enough- incredible.”

“This is the 3rd time I’ve booked with Alexis & I had another great experience with her! Even though my animal can be shy, Alexis ensures my pet is comfortable & happy! She even brings her out of her shelf! Grateful to have the opportunity to book with her!”

“Kristen was so attentive and gave so much love to our Piper while we were away. Left our house so clean that we couldn’t even tell that someone had stayed there. Will hire her again.”

“As my first time using Rover, I was a little skeptical to booking a house sitting, but Bregayle was very open and willing to help throughout the process and answered all of my questions or concerns from the beginning. It was also my first time leaving my service dog, who is also a large pitbull, and she was super friendly and kept me updated everyday through his naps, eating habits, and playtime. My pup seemed happy and healthy when I came back, I could easily see he was taken good care of.”
“Christine did a great job taking care of my two dogs in my home! She was communicative, reliable, and made me feel completely comfortable while I was away. My dogs were well cared for and happy when I returned. I will absolutely book with her again!”

“John did a great job watching over Boog & our house. We are so thankful for the amazing communication and that we didn’t have to worry all week about our dog! Highly recommend & we will use him again when needed!”

“Theresa was an excellent house/dog sitter who works remotely and thus was at our home much of the time. Communication was excellent. We will definitely hire her again.”

“I felt very comfortable with Gregory staying with Benji, he communicated with me daily and gave me updates on Benji. I loved that Benji felt safe with him that made very happy. Very grateful and thankful!”

“Sumi was amazing and took great care of our fur babies and kept them company at night by staying at our home with them. We will definitely ask for her services again in the future. She sent picture updates to us and kept us informed about how the pups are doing. We highly recommend Sumi to anyone needing a great and professional pet sitter for their fur babies.”

About: I have cared for animals for most of my life, including dogs, cats, birds, and fish. I have also regularly helped neighbors, friends, and church members with their pets. I am dependable, attentive, and happy to follow each pet’s normal routine while giving them plenty of care and affection. I currently work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. I will carefully follow your instructions and respect your pet’s normal routine. I understand that every animal has different needs, comfort levels, and boundaries. I will make sure your pet receives attentive care and will keep you updated during each visit.
“Amy was super helpful, she was available on short notice and willing to stay at my place and take care of my puppy during the day! She sent many photos and updates throughout the day. I highly recommend Amy!”

“Dasia was great with our pups ! She was extremely organized and never missed a beat. We loved all the updates she gave us while we were away. It left us reassured that our babies and house were in great hands. Will definitely book with her again :)”

“Mikayla was amazing!! She is the best dog watcher we’ve ever had by far! Our dog was happy the whole time, and our house was clean and well cared for. Thank you Mikayla!!!”

“I've had sitters for years, most providing an excellent service. But Deanna Morgan is the champion! I don't even know where to start. From caring for my fur babies and my home to the regular communication whilst I was away, she went above and beyond. Her kindness and concern stretched across thousand of miles even to me. She claims my babies missed me but when I arrived (after the excited mummy cuddles) they checked the open doorway behind me and I know they weren't expecting Amazon! I can't say enough wonderful things about Deanna. However I don't want to give her such a good review that her diary books up and I lose the best sitter ever.”

“Sherice did a fantastic job looking after our fur babies. Our pups are very spoiled and I could tell from the daily updates and pictures that they felt very comfortable and happy. Thank you for everything!”

“Trinity was so awesome! I received tons of pictures daily, and my house was left so clean. I booked her last minute and even extended during the booking, and she was so accommodating and helpful. Thank you so much!”

About: Growing up, my family had a Beagle named Chloe, who we adopted as a tiny pup. Later, we rescued an Australian Shepherd who quickly became my best buddy. I loved bathing him, taking him on walks, feeding him, and teaching him new tricks. When I moved to Texas in 2021, I stayed with a family who had a pit mix named Rosie. She immediately attached herself to me and I to her. When I moved out on my own, they allowed me to take me with her and she became my baby girl who did everything with me! In January 2026, I adopted my second dog, Raffi, another pit mix. He is a snuggle bug and very high energy. Rosie and him instantly became best friends and he was exactly the addition to the family that we needed! I am currently a Special Education Teacher in Lewisville ISD and am looking for something easy and meaningful to do over the summer- like caring for animals! Because of that I have a super flexible schedule during the summer months, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, or pet sitting. Once the school year begins, I will still have flexible availability on weeknights and weekends. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and love providing them with attention, care, and companionship while their owners are away. I will care for your pet as if they were my own dog- with love, attention, pets, and treats if they’re allowed :) If I am house sitting, I treat your home as if it were my own.
“Rachel took such great care of my dogs. She was very informative and helpful throughout the entire process. My dogs acted like they knew her the moment they met her. They were very comfortable with her and I felt at ease knowing that they were so happy while I was away. I will definitely reach out to Rachel again in the near future for help with my fur babies.”

Roxie is the best! It’s hard to put into words the peace of mind you feel when you know she’s taking care of your pups while you’re out of town. We have rebooked with her several times, and every time we are blown away by the care and communication she provides. Cannot recommend her enough.

Excellent and caring sitter! Andrea just stayed with our dogs a second time. We've really enjoyed working with her. And our dogs love her. She's kind, punctual and very communicative...she sends us photos of the pups all time. And the house was looking better than we left it. We highly recommend Andrea!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Coppell walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Coppell maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Coppell choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Coppell. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
