Although I was receiving my updates in a group blast, Silvana quickly replied to me personally in response to every message I sent to her. Considering the amount of time she spends with her furry guests — as demonstrated by the photos she sends — I was genuinely surprised at how well she got to know my Teddy in such a short time. When I picked him up, naturally he was bouncing around in excitement to see me, so I was quite surprised when she called him to say goodbye outside near my car when he excitedly rushed back to her and leaned in hard for a hug — like they'd been hugging each other goodbye as good friends for years already! “We had Steven watch our 2 senior Chihuahuas (16 and 11 years old) for a week. Our dogs had never been watched by anyone else for that long and we were worried but Steven made us feel so comfortable from the time we contacted him. Our 16 year old Chihuahua is on heart medication that needs to be given twice a day and Steven was very accommodating to our dogs’ needs. He sent plenty of pictures and updates throughout our trip and we really appreciated that. We ended up missing our return flight and Steven was very understanding and took care of our babies until we could get rebooked and fly back home the next day. We are very grateful to have found someone so kind and caring and truly believe we could not have found a better person to trust our beloved babies with. About: I've been a Dog Mom for most of my adult life, I currently have two. A couple of years ago I took classes to learn to groom and care for dogs. I learned dog CPR, first aid and grooming skills. I have taken care of several of my family and neighbors dogs and decided to expand. I have an entire room dedicated to dog play, grooming and sleeping. My dogs sleep with me and your dog can too if that is what you like. I also have crates if that is preferred. I have a small doggie door that leads to my backyard that is securely fenced. I also have a security gate on my front porch to prevent run aways. I will love your fur babies just like my own while they are with me! I am retired and I am available most of the time. I do babysit my 1 year old Granddaughter sometimes, but will take in a baby friendly dog when she's here. I have a fenced yard and two other dogs to keep your fur baby company. Sleeping arrangements are as the parents prefer, in the bed, on the floor in a dog bed or in a crate. Dogs are temporarily separated during feeding time to avoid conflicts. I stick with parents preferences on treats, eating times, etc. I will send you pictures of your dog if you want. I will love your fur baby just like my own!

About: My and my puppies (Pilot- 11 and Maxie- 14) love having other furry friends to play with! With younger puppies, I can maintain any training protocols you’re working on (leash walking, potty training, chewing). For seniors, I can accommodate whatever you need from me while in my care. For all others, we have lots of options to have fun, keep them busy, or just chill out. I’m home all day so there’s plenty of time for playing, cuddles, walks and attention. Lots of toys, furniture and dog beds for your babies to play with or get comfy. I have a lot of experience with dogs that may have difficulties on walks (pulling, chasing, reactive). I always make sure the pets are comfortable and have their needs met. My apartment is on the 1st floor and the back door leads to the doggy courtyard so potty breaks don’t have to be scorching for them in these Texas summer months.

“If I had to describe John in one word, it would be “amazing.” We are new to Dallas and needed someone to walk our two dogs on very short notice, and John was kind enough to step in and help. Our dogs are not difficult, but they definitely have their own personalities. One is a 120 lb German Shepherd who loves chasing squirrels (and climb trees to meet their families), rabbits, and sometimes even butterflies, and he also thinks he needs to make friends with every dog he sees. Our other one is an 18 lb Shih Tzu who is a little pampered and does not like walking in the sun. What really stood out to us was how patient, caring, and thoughtful John was with both of them. During the first couple of days, when our Shih Tzu decided he was done walking after finishing his business, John actually picked him up and carried him while continuing the walk because our German Shepherd still wanted more time outside. For the last few days, he even walked them separately so each of them could get the individual attention they needed. That level of care says a lot about John. He was always on time, courteous, respectful, responsible, and genuinely loving toward our dogs. We are very thankful for his help and would definitely look forward to having him take care of our boys again in the future.”
About: I’ve taken care of 4 dogs over the course of 6 years, one of them being my own and I would make their stay luxurious. I like to pamper the dog if it is okay, and give them the best stay ever. I am currently a college student, and working, and I don’t have to go office full day, so I am pretty much free all day. My parents are at home all day too and they can help. I take care of my dog by giving him plenty of treats and outdoor time, and I always give him kisses. I listen to what he says and make sure he is always having a good time. He is always bored though because of me being busy quite often and so I think pet sitting would be a great option for him to have company.

Because of this, if you are inquiring about house sitting on Saturdays, your animal must be comfortable being alone for 8 hours. I do my best to ensure that your animal will always be safe, happy, and comfortable in your home or apartment. I have worked with reactive dogs and do my absolute best to make sure your animal and neighbors stay safe. “Melinda did a great job helping us out by taking care of Marnie. It was Marnie’s first time there and she had a blast playing with the other dogs. Melinda really took the time to keep us posted on how Marnie was doing while there as well.”
