The safety of your pets is my top priority! Careful when entering and exiting the home to ensure no one escapes. Leashes/harnesses/prong collars inspected prior to walks to ensure they are properly fit and secure. Happy to follow any and all safety precautions you may require. Pets crated, alarm systems armed, etc.

I require a brief meet and greet in the client's home before taking on a new service unless it is a short notice/emergency situation. This is to meet with you and your pets and to go over their routine to ensure they receive the best care while you are away. Does your pet have any health or mobility issues? History of aggressive behavior? Does your pet have certain training or commands that they respond to? As well as any special requests or any relevant information for their care.
A typical day
I like to make sure that the pets in my care get a lot of love and that they have plenty of outlets to work off energy with a nice long walk or playtime inside if that is what they prefer. Prefer to keep the pets in my care as close to their usual routine as possible while you are away.

Full Time Professional Pet Sitter

I have had pets all of my life. I worked for a local professional pet sitting company prior to joining Rover for over 10 years. I also held a "team lead" position within this company. My responsibilities included keeping the keys for our clients in the Dallas area as well as interviewing and training new sitters. I have had lots of experience walking and caring for all ages,sizes, and breeds. Cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, and birds. I have experience administering medication to dogs and cats. This includes insulin shots, pills/oral meds, and topical medications. Very experienced with senior dogs and puppies as well. Physically able to handle large breeds and high energy dogs. Knowledgeable when it comes to animal behavior/body language. Experience caring for aggressive and anxious pets. Your pets will be my top priority! This is not just a side job for me this is what I love to do. I can be available short notice and am devoted to pet sitting 7 days a week.
