Loving care for your pet
With more than 30 years of experience caring for animals, I’ve developed a deep understanding of dogs and their individual needs. My experience goes beyond basic care, I focus on creating a calm, structured, and safe environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. I’m also a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions, where I helped raise and train a future service dog. This experience gave me valuable hands-on training in obedience, socialization, leash skills, and positive reinforcement, as well as patience and consistency when working with young dogs. I’m comfortable providing a wide range of care, including administering medications, structured exercise, mental enrichment, and maintaining consistent routines that help pets feel relaxed and confident. Every dog has a unique personality. Whether your dog is energetic, sensitive, shy, or still learning good manners, I adapt my care to their individual needs so they feel safe, engaged, and well cared for. I treat every pet with the same attention, patience, and respect I would give my own. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet to make sure your pet feels comfortable before the first visit.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel secure in their familiar environment. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to the dog’s energy level, providing exercise, mental stimulation, and time to explore safely. For pet sitting, I follow your pet’s feeding schedule, play routines, and daily habits to keep things as normal as possible. I also provide plenty of companionship and affection so your pet feels relaxed while you’re away. If needed, I can assist with medication and help maintain pet areas such as litter boxes or bedding. I’m also happy to bring in mail or water plants if requested.

Luciana has taken care of Charley several times now. She does a great job of communicating about her visit. I know Charley is in great hands when I have to be away which helps so much.
I’ll be the first to admit I’m overprotective dog mom who gets extreme anxiety about leaving my dog with someone who isn’t family or a dear friend. Luciana put all of my nerves at ease with her nurturing and attentive spirit because she is thoughtful and thorough. She is the absolute best. I can’t recommend her enough and would refer her again and again.

Pet care is my full-time job, which allows me to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Your pet won’t just receive a quick visit, they’ll have someone present who can give them the attention, companionship, and routine they need. Whether your pet enjoys frequent potty breaks, playtime, or simply relaxing company, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
