“Summer was amazing with my cat Tofu! She communicated with me often, sent proof of fresh water, litter cleaning, and even reported when he pooped and peed. She also went above and beyond and helped us vacuum our room and bathroom because of the litter tracked. My cat doesn’t like anyone else besides me, but he warmed up to Summer after two days and came out to greet her and gave her kisses. I am definitely booking again when I go out of town!”

“Samantha and Sydney did an AMAZING job taking care of our two cats! This was our first time to use someone in a new home, so we were a bit anxious about how it would go. We could not have asked for better people to care for our cats! We got tons of pictures and an extensive write up every day of our trip, putting us at ease that they were in good hands. Not only did they do the basics, but we really got the feeling that they care about our pets and looked forward to seeing them everyday. 10 stars!!”

“Simply the best!!! Abby provides the same care you would provide for your pet! She provides constant communication of how your pet is doing while you are away. Awesome pictures and videos were provided to make me feel relaxed knowing my pet was being treated wonderfully! I would recommend Abby to anyone who wants the best for their pet! She is the best and I was very happy she was there for Teddy!”

About: I’ve cared for pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years, including senior dogs who needed extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I have experience with feeding, walking, playtime, giving lots of love, and sticking to each pet’s routine. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets like they’re part of my own family. 🐾 I’m currently not working, and I’ll be welcoming a newborn this summer. I’m looking for a flexible opportunity that fits into my new daily routine while allowing me to do something I truly enjoy. Caring for animals has always been something I love, so pet sitting is a perfect fit. I’m dependable, responsible, and excited to provide loving, attentive care for your pets while building a schedule that works well for my family and yours. I’m happy to care for pets either in my home or in my clients’ homes, depending on what works best for you. I do want to be transparent that I’ll have my newborn with me this summer, but that won’t affect the love, attention, and quality care I provide. I’m very flexible and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I understand every pet has different needs, and I’m happy to work with owners to find an arrangement that works best for everyone.
About: Hi there! I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid and have an affinity for all pets. I am currently mom to a poodle mix and 2 adorable cats. I’ll treat your dog as if it were my own - with lots of love! I’m up to go anywhere your dog wants to go and take great care of them. I’m always ready to run with your dog or take it slow and chill. Long, slow walks or short, exhilarating walks are all up my alley. I’m willing to meet your dog with you beforehand to see if we’re a fit and make sure I can give y’all the safest and exciting experience. I also can do commissioned drawings of your furry friend! I hope to meet your companion soon and take the good kid on an amazing walk. I took a break from Rover (hence the old reviews) but I am thrilled to be back. I'm currently a graduate student so I try to do this doing my free time Sunday to Tuesday. I am available most mornings and will let you know if I can accommodate. I currently am only able to do drop ins and walks. I treat every client's home with respect and will make sure to leave the home as it was. My number one priority is your pet's safety and happiness!
About: Hello! I recently lost my best friend/dog of 14+ years. He was my entire life and while I’m not ready to adopt again, I definitely am eager to look after and care for other people’s pets like they’re my own. I’m also an experienced doggie foster mom and am always looking for ways to get more involved in the dog community. The dog rescue I work with specializes in rescuing dogs that are abandoned, abused, neglected, and older. If all people had the same heart and spirit as dogs, this world would be a much better place. I work from home with a flexible schedule so I am able to take care of pets throughout the day in my home or travel to your home as needed for walks/drop-in visits. I only host one dog at a time for boarding. This way your pup will get my undivided attention. I am open to hosting two dogs from the same household. I live in an apartment but I do have a small fenced yard. I am able to provide frequent potty breaks and walks as needed.
“Very easy to work with and made sure my cat was good on my 2 week trip, kept his litter clean and food/water full. He is a very playful cat so she made sure to take him outside and play with him a lot which really is great for him. Would highly recommend”

I booked Ember after having to take a last minute trip for work. She agreed to a meet and greet on such short notice, was punctual during her check ins, and remained incredibly calm and professional when I accidentally came home a day early and totally forgot to met her know 💀. I would trust her with Riley again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!

We were super grateful Sarah was able to drop in on short notice when our usual sitter couldn’t arrive in time for a potty break before a long weekend. The pups loved her, she followed our weirdly specific instructions to a T, and she provided plenty of photos! Highly recommend.

Christine is the absolute BEST! We feel so extremely fortunate to have found her many years ago. She’s watched both our sweet late Cinnamon girl; and now our two morkies. They absolutely love her! Lots of attention and love and updates with pictures! We prefer home visits and we feel relieved and good knowing someone so reliable and responsible is there with them when we are away. Thank you so much for all the exceptional care and many pictures! Can’t recommend Christine highly enough!

Amber was absolutely fantastic! She was very communicative throughout the entire stay and kept me updated with plenty of pictures, which gave me peace of mind knowing Louie was doing well. She followed all of my care instructions exactly as requested and made sure Louie was comfortable and well cared for. She went above & beyond while Louie was in her care. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I would highly recommend Amber to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring pet sitter, and I would gladly book with her again!

We have used Nana & Scott three times now I believe and each time, we have felt so confident that our pups are in wonderful hands. They communicate with us so well, love on our dogs, and give us each the peace of mind we need to enjoy our trips without worry. Booking with Nana & Scott is a no brainer.

Aubrey is wonderful! She is extremely punctual, a great communicator, very sweet, and so great with my very anxious puppy. She’s very knowledgeable about quality care for pets and always leaves great post visit summaries which gives me great peace of mind while I’m away at work. Definitely book Aubrey!!! ❤️

It was our first time using the app and we have a kitten that we just got that is only about two months old, plus our nine year old dog who takes medication daily, so I was nervous! But Aivy was amazing! She took the BEST pictures of the animals too. Overall great experience.

Melanie is so amazing and sweet! She went above and beyond taking care of our dog and cat. As first time Rover users, we realized very quickly that we had nothing to stress about leaving our babies with her. We will definitely be booking with her again, thank you Melanie!!

Samantha is absolutely WONDERFUL. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to come home from our trips to a clean home and happy pups. Samantha is communicative, responsive, and sincerely makes you feel like taking care of your fur babies is her pleasure. Will definitely continue using her services!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
