Love, Care, Safety & Service

As a home owner with a fenced yard and lifelong dog owners, we understand the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for your furry family members. Our Great Pyrenees is a seasoned old lady and with her natural shepherding instincts, takes pride in ensuring everyone feels secure and protected. We are dedicated to accommodating all the special care needs of your dog, whether they are young or old, and treat them with the same love and care as we do our own. We prioritize safety above anything else. We believe that while your dog should be happy to see you when you return, they should also want to come back to us. Health is the next priority. They should be comfortable and not feel threatened or bullied. They get to go out regularly to do their business and will be left alone to enjoy their meals and rest times. Your cherished companion will discover a home away from home with us.

My furry daughter has stayed with Debasish multiple times now. She seems to have always enjoyed her stay there. I have had a very good experience in terms of timely communication, getting picture updates and flexibility on dropoff/pickup time.

Bruno stayed with them for 11 nights and came back happy and well cared for. We felt comfortable knowing he was in good hands while we were away. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them!

Schedule

Our schedule is generally open. We work from home and a SAHM. Our children are grown and we have plenty of time to take care of your pups. Boarding takes place in our home with lots of open space and a backyard for pups to let out energy. - Meal times are twice a day in the morning and in the evening and everyone gets to go out every couple of hours. - We are able to watch all pets in our care at all times. Our home is rarely unoccupied and all rooms have cameras. But we do need pets be able to be left alone for up to 4 hours to enable us to do normal activities like keeping various appointments, getting groceries, etc. - We keep all pickups and drop offs between 7 AM and 9 PM. However, travel disruptions are known to happen and we can work with you if you are impacted.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are at the heart of everything we do. We treat every guest like our own — because that's genuinely how we feel about them. - Our home is set up with your pet in mind. We have a fully fenced yard, and cameras throughout the home so we can keep eyes on everyone at all times. We separate dogs by size to keep playtime safe and fun, and dogs that are reactive or need a little extra space get their own comfortable area where they can decompress without stress. - We're experienced with dogs of all needs — seniors, special needs, and those on medication (oral or injected). If your dog has specific routines, dietary needs, or quirks, just let us know. We'll follow your schedule, not ours. A few things we ask to keep everyone safe and happy: * All male dogs over one year must be neutered. We do not accept females in heat. * For the safety of all pets in our care, we seek your understanding if we are unable to proceed with a reactive or aggressive pet. However, we always make the best effort to try. * We typically have more than one guest family at a time, but we carefully manage our count based on size, breed, and temperament — so every dog gets real attention, not just a spot on the floor. - One small clarification that surprises some people: our profile lists one dog (that's our Snow, a 9-year-old Great Pyrenees). That's our personal pet — it doesn't mean we only host one guest at a time. We keep our guest count intentional and manageable so the experience stays great for everyone.

Pets

A typical day

We want your dog to feel at home from the moment they arrive — and a consistent, comfortable routine is a big part of that. - Morning The day starts with a trip outside, followed by breakfast around 8–9 AM. After that, it's playtime — fetch in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, or just some relaxed outdoor time depending on the weather and your dog's energy level. If your dog is leash trained and up for it, morning walks are a favorite. - Throughout the day Dogs go out every couple of hours to do their business and burn off energy. Outdoor play groups are kept by size so everyone stays comfortable and safe. Whether it's running around the yard or just sniffing around at their own pace, they're always under our supervision — inside and out. We also work on social skills and good behavior during the day, gently and at your dog's own pace. If they're more of a laid-back lounger than a fetch fanatic, that's perfectly fine too — we follow their lead. - Evening Dinner is served around 5–6 PM, or on whatever schedule you prefer — just let us know. After dinner, there's one more trip outside and a wind-down period before a final yard outing around 9 PM. - Lights out at 10 PM. Dogs who do better with their own space are welcome to settle into a play pen for the night — many dogs actually find this cozy and secure. Treats and snacks at bedtime, as you prefer. - Meals & food We're happy to follow your feeding schedule and preferences. If you're sending home-cooked food, we ask that it be plain stewed or boiled protein without spices. We can't accept raw meat for safety reasons, but can provide commercially available cooked meat if needed. If you have a different schedule in mind for any part of the day, just tell us — we're flexible and happy to accommodate. Meal times are in the morning around 8 to 9 AM and evening around 5 to 6 PM. If you prefer a different schedule, let us know and we will be happy to accommodate. - They get to go outside about every couple of hours during the day. If the weather is nice, they can stay out as long as they want to play. And are let out in groups of similar size. They are always under our supervision whether inside or out. - Walk times around the block are either in the morning or the evening depending on weather. the health of the dog and if they are reactive or leash trained. - Around 9 PM, they go out to the yard for the last time. Are provided treats/snacks as requested and lights are out at 10 PM. If parents prefer, they will be given personal space in play pens so that they feel secure in their own little area when they turn in for the night.

The more we know about your dog before they arrive, the better we can make their stay. Every dog is different, and understanding their personality, habits, and needs helps us give them the most comfortable, stress-free experience possible. - Here's what's most helpful to share with us: Vaccination records and any medical information — we keep these on file for emergency purposes, so we're never caught off guard. Breed — we need to confirm this upfront to stay compliant with local laws and ordinances. Feeding preferences — if you send home-cooked food, we ask that it be stewed or boiled plain protein without spices. For safety reasons we can't accept raw meat, but we're happy to provide commercially available cooked meat ourselves if needed. - About meet & greets We love meeting your dog before their first stay — and so does your pup. When you come by, we'll happily answer all your questions, but the real star of the visit is your pup. We want them to smell us, check us out, and start to feel comfortable in our space. - A couple of tips that make meet & greets go smoothly: keep them on a short leash so they stay engaged with us rather than chasing every squirrel in the yard, and try to keep the visit relaxed. If they seem a little overwhelmed or distracted, that's completely normal — we're patient. - For some dogs, we may also suggest an orientation session — a couple of hours with us, unsupervised by you, so they can settle in and show us their true personality. Either of us can suggest this if we think it would help. - One small heads-up about tracking devices. We've seen Airtags, GPS collars, Bluetooth trackers, and small cameras get damaged during play — dogs are surprisingly rough on small electronics. We can't be responsible for damage to these items, so we'd recommend removing them before drop-off. We have cameras throughout our home and yard, so you'll always have eyes on your pup through us anyway.
