Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to give pets frequent attention, outdoor breaks, and lots of interaction throughout the day. My teenage kids also love helping with walks, playtime, and cuddle time after school. With someone home most of the time and plenty of hands ready to give love and care, visiting pets easily become part of our everyday life.

Information Dana S. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know anything that helps your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. This includes their temperament, energy level, and how they behave around new people, kids, and other dogs. We have three teenage children, and their friends are often in and out of the house, so if your dog has issues with kids or a busy household environment, our home may not be the right fit. I also need to know about any special needs, medications, allergies, or health concerns, as well as their feeding schedule, routines, and any anxieties or dislikes. For everyone’s safety, I do require that all pets staying with us have up-to-date vaccinations and current heartworm prevention. The more I know upfront, the better I can make their stay feel just like home.
A typical day
A typical day in our home is all about keeping your pet happy, active, and comfortable. We start with morning potty time and a walk or some fresh-air play in our fenced yard. Throughout the day, since I work from home, your pet gets plenty of attention, companionship, and routine outdoor breaks. There’s time for play—fetch, tug-of-war, or whatever your dog enjoys—as well as quiet cuddle time indoors. When my teenage kids get home, they love joining in for extra walks, backyard games, and lots of affection. Evenings are relaxed with more snuggles, calm time, and one last outdoor break before bed. Every day is structured around your pet’s needs and making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. Before your stay, we’d love for you to bring your pup over for a meet-and-greet so you can feel comfortable leaving your dog with us! ***Please note: Owners who do not pick their dog(s) up by 1:00pm on the day of departure (for overnight stays) will be charged our daily day care rate.

Reviews

Dana was great with our dog, and had great communication during the period of time! I can’t thank you enough

Amazing care of my dog. Thank you so much.

Dana has quickly become our favorite sitter for Milo, and honestly, she’s earned that title! She watched our pup two weeks in a row after last-minute work travel came up, and she handled both stays with complete flexibility and not a single complaint. As a dog parent, that kind of reliability is everything. The picture updates were the highlight of our trips, seeing Milo living his best life and getting along so well with her kids. He fit right in like he owned the place. And if there was any doubt he had a great time, it was erased the second week when he was practically pulling us to the door to get back inside. That tail does not lie. Dana is a wonderful communicator, super flexible about drop off and pickup times, and just genuinely one of those sitters you feel lucky to have found. She will 100% be our first call every time Milo needs a home away from home. Cannot recommend her enough!

Thank you for taking great care of Leo! He'll be happy to see you again 😊
