Hi! I’m Averie, and I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. From dogs and cats to horses and livestock, caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, personalities, and care routines, and I’m comfortable providing care for animals with different needs. I also have eight years of hands-on experience with pregnant dogs, litters, and newborn puppies. I’ve been present for and helped care for my dog through eight years of births and puppy litters, giving me experience that goes beyond typical pet sitting. While I’m not veterinary trained, I’m comfortable recognizing when an animal may need extra attention and understand the importance of keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions, including feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and other special requirements. I understand how important it is to keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible while you’re away. When your pets are in my care, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
