Hi! I’m Averie, and I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. From dogs and cats to horses and livestock, caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, personalities, and care routines, and I’m comfortable providing care for animals with different needs. I also have eight years of hands-on experience with pregnant dogs, litters, and newborn puppies. I’ve been present for and helped care for my dog through eight years of births and puppy litters, giving me experience that goes beyond typical pet sitting. While I’m not veterinary trained, I’m comfortable recognizing when an animal may need extra attention and understand the importance of keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions, including feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and other special requirements. I understand how important it is to keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible while you’re away. When your pets are in my care, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ll keep you updated throughout your time gone so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re being well cared for. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every animal I care for like they’re my own. I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes, allowing pets to stay in the environment they know and are comfortable in. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding, medications, exercise, playtime, and any other instructions provided by the owner. I’m very respectful of my clients’ homes and take responsibility for keeping everything clean, organized, and well cared for while I’m there. I clean up after the pets, keep their spaces tidy, and make sure I leave the home in the same or better condition than I found it. I’m also mindful of doors, gates, and other details that help keep pets secure. I understand that trusting someone with your pets and your home is a big responsibility. I take that trust seriously and want you to come home knowing your pets were well cared for and your home was treated with the same respect.

Averie is an outstanding pet sitter. She did drop in visits for 3 cats and 2 dogs (and a fish) and they already miss her!
Averie has been our go to pet sitter for the past few years. I have quite a few animals, both indoor and outdoor, that need almost constant care. She always stays the night, and makes sure all the animals are taken care of on time. Our chickens are let out super early in the morning and put up pretty late in the evening, and she always has that done on time. I also have horses, but she has no problem with the physical labor and always leaves their area very clean for me when I get home. My cats are super high maintenance and have a lot of care instructions including medication, and she’s always done a great job with that. My dogs always get walked by her (which is a treat for them) and get plenty of playtime with her. She does a great job of always letting me know what’s going on, how everyone is doing, and sending pictures. I also have a fish tank and quite a few plants that I have her take care of. I recommend her to everyone I know!
I have had the privilege of knowing Averie for years. Her passion and love of animals is absolutely amazing. From showing livestock to riding and caring for horses she is someone I would reach out to immediately for any and all pet care! She is kind, responsible and respectful. Averie is fantastic and took great care of our Fur Babies! We have cats, dogs, horses, and chickens and Averie has taken wonderful care of them all😁 You can tell that Averie has been around animals for nearly her entire life, as she has an air about her that made our animals instantly comfortable. She is reliable and followed our instructions precisely. Having a reliable pet sitter who clearly loves animals has made it much easier for us to feel comfortable leaving town.

Averie Friesenhahn has cared for our dog Casey many times. She is always very caring and attentive to feeding whatever he needs and walking him and just sitting and petting him. .I know she has shown in 4H for quite a few years with goats, lambs and pigs. The animals can tell if a person is an animal.peraon, and Averie is. You can feel confident with Averie caring foe your pets.

Schedule
My schedule varies from week to week, as I do not work a traditional 9–5 schedule. I have some daytime work commitments and occasional evening commitments, but I’m able to plan my pet-sitting availability around each booking. I also have a few regular church and event commitments throughout the week. Because my schedule is flexible and changes week to week, I communicate my availability clearly before accepting a booking and make sure I can fully commit to the care your pets need. I’m happy to work with each owner to find a schedule that works well for both of us.
