Pet care is a natural part of my routine, and I build my schedule around providing consistent attention and support. I’m used to planning my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I keep a flexible schedule so I can accommodate pets who need mid-day visits or a little extra time. Throughout the week, I make sure each pet gets the right balance of exercise, companionship, and calm downtime. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in. It is something I prioritize and enjoy as part of my everyday rhythm especially having 3 dogs of my own!

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding instructions, walk schedules, and training preferences exactly as given. I also make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and comfortable! I do that by having refreshing water, tidying up food areas, and giving plenty of playtime or quiet time depending on what the pet needs. I stay attentive to their behavior and well-being. I also send regular updates so their owners feel confident and connected. When caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm and welcoming space that’s pet-friendly and supervised. Having three dogs of my own plus accommodating for others will be fun! I provide structured play, exercise, and rest. I make sure pets feel secure, whether that means cozy spots to relax or engaging activities to burn energy. I treat every pet like part of the family by being patient, promoting safety, and with lots of love and consistency. For all pet care needs a child will be with me at all times. I also ask about their energy level, favorite activities, and any behaviors or triggers I should be aware of, like separation anxiety or reactivity on walks. The more details I have upfront, the better I can tailor their care and make sure they feel relaxed and understood while you’re away. My home has a 3 year old boy that is very energetic and playful. For playful or energetic pets, I’ll do things like fetch, tug-of-war, interactive toys, and nice long walks or backyard play sessions. For pets that enjoy exploring, I’ll take them on sniff walks where they can stop, smell, and take in their surroundings at their own pace. For calmer or older pets, I focus on more gentle activities. We will partake in slow strolls, cozy cuddle time, brushing, or puzzle toys that keep their minds engaged without too much physical strain. I also enjoy doing simple training games or reinforcing commands to give them a fun challenge! Absolutely recommend Kasey! My pup could not have been on better or more capable hands, she was clean and tidy and very attentive and always made sure to communicate well and sent lots of pictures.
Kasey was beyond amazing with my Blue Nose Pit Hatter. She would even walk and have Hatter do tricks just as I trained him. Talking to her I found out she was a life long dog lover and owner and had an Australian Shepherd. Absolutely lovely woman, I would hire again anyday.
