He has been the "Father Figure" to our other pups. Obedience, non-aggressive, affectionate are the qualities he has passed on to his siblings. Next up is Bosley. He is a pitbull. The reputation of his breed is completely eliminated upon first impression with him. While he appears to be the strongest, most in-charge of the pack, he is the most submissive and kind. He is afraid of thunderstorms, loud noises, and demands to be cuddled on a daily basis. Koko is actually Bosley's cousin. She has all of the wonderful attributes Bosley does as far as being submissive and kind, but she isn't afraid of thunderstorms and loud noises. Her first response toward other dogs is to be the greeter. She longs to have puppies of her own and that is expressed in her loving, caring nature shown in her love for new friends--especially submissive ones. She has never met a stranger. Last is Whiskey. She is our puppy--An 8 month Belgian German Shepherd. She is playful and fun as any puppy should be. She is a social butterfly. She is still in training and doing great! She is smart as can be and her active instincts make her a very playful companion. She is the "Life of the Party" most of the time. Completely non-aggressive. 100% play, fun and games. Our dogs get all of our attention. They are our children. All of our dogs are kennel trained, but all of them are accustomed to being spoiled one-on-one including sleeping with us as needed when they are needy or scared. Your pup would be no different depending on his/her needs. If we could home all the world's needful dogs we would! Everyone will argue about who is Rosie's favorite but we all know it's me :) I'm home during the day and would love to help take care of your little loves! My son, Zeke, is in 10th grade and will assist me in bookings in every way. He is an honor roll student at Coram Deo Academy where he attends school three days a week and homeschools the other days. Because of that, he has flexible time in his schedule to go walking, etc. He is very responsible and tender hearted, loves snuggling with Rosie while watching movies, is active in our church youth group, enjoys acting in varsity drama at school and in a local youth theatre company, and is looking to start early on saving for college. We are happy for 30 minute (or 60 minute) drop in visits to include a walk for your dog(s) without an additional fee. We also both enjoy photography and will do our best to get a few pictures for you. We’ve included some of our favorite pup pics that we’ve taken in our profile. Zeke: There has been a dog in my life since I was born (my favorite are dachshunds but I don't discriminate ;) Neighbors have entrusted their pets to me and were glad with the service they received. My experience is mainly based in dogs and some in cats. I also have light experience with ferrets and am brave enough to tackle most pets. If you have an alligator, I might charge extra! Pet care works perfectly in my schedule! I am 16 years old (my mom helps me run this account; thanks, Mom!) and would love to start saving up for some big goals. I love performing with my theatre company, hanging out with friends, board games, anything Marvel or Star Wars, and swimming, but I also really love hanging out with pets. This summer I will be available when I’m not rehearsing; my schedule during the school year will include afternoons and weekends. I do have the added flexibility of attending school on Mon/Wed/Fri and schooling from home on Tues/Thurs as I attend Coram Deo Academy. On walks, I will keep your pet/pets in the neighborhood while making sure they are safe and well exercised. In your home I will feed them, play with them, and let them outside (backyard, but most importantly, I'll do my best to bring a smile to their dog, cat, ferret, frog, or other face ;) My mom will also be driving me to walks and drop ins and will serve as an added layer of safety and trust.
About: Leaving your beloved pet with someone is never easy but you can rest assured they will be in great hands and very well taken care of with our family! We've taken care of all types of animals (young and old/big and small). Family and friends have relied on me for years to watch, feed, walk, bathe and cuddle their animals when they are away. We have two boys (age 13 and 9) that are amazing with all animals and will give your pet lots of love and attention during their stay. Our most recent dog was 14 years old and sick for quite some time which required extra senior pup care and attention. Currently we do not have a dog of our own but have turtles, a tree frog and a chameleon (all in enclosures). My number one priority is not only that your dog is safe and happy but also that you have a stress free time away knowing they feel at home in our home. Both my kids are in school full time so I'd be happy to help on weekdays for walking services, drop ins or doggy day care. Weekends will be available on a case by case basis unless obviously it's for boarding services. If dropping your pet at my home, I have a fenced yard and a wonderful walking trail in my neighborhood for outdoor exercise for your pet.
About: My background in animal shelters and years of pet sitting for family and friends gave me experience with senior dogs, anxious pets, and health-related needs. I have a wide - open schedule and love using that time to care for pets. Available weekdays, weekends, and anytime in between - overnight stays are no problem at all! Whether in my home or yours, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy. I love taking long walks, which provides great exercise, and bonding time, while also sticking to their regular feeding and routine schedules.

“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and pet owner with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve had a dog for the past 17 years and have cared for cats since 2003, giving me decades of experience with daily pet care routines, feeding, walking, administering basic care, and understanding animal behavior. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away, and I treat every pet like part of the family. My 12-year-old daughter also loves animals and enjoys helping with playtime, walks, and giving pets extra attention and affection (always under my supervision). We’re excited to provide reliable, loving pet care this summer! I’m a preschool teacher during the school year, but I will be off for the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’ll have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, playtime, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and giving pets lots of attention throughout the day. Because I’ll be home most of the time, I’m able to provide reliable, consistent care and make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-loved while their owners are away. Pets staying in our home will be treated like part of the family! We have a secure fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, plus plenty of room inside to relax and feel comfortable. We do have a pool in the backyard. Bear does not like the water and does not get in. We also have a friendly dog named Bear who loves to play with other dogs but is also very calm and relaxed when it’s time to rest. Our cat has been around dogs his whole life and is very comfortable sharing the home with pets. I make sure all pets receive lots of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection while keeping their normal routines as consistent as possible so they feel safe and happy during their stay.
