“Michele is great! We needed some help with our new puppy while we have to be out at work and she takes such good care of him. She shows up on time and sends a detailed report and some cute pictures of Bennett when she leaves, and always makes sure to give him some treats :).”

“Wendy has now watched my cat multiple times, and it is clear from the photos Wendy sends me just how much my cat likes her. Wendy is a true animal lover. I look forward to getting each photo of my cat having funwhile I’m away!”

“Amy is an exceptional dog sitter and we recommend her without reservation! She provided wonderfully loving and attentive care for our pack: Moose, Jackie, and Lucy. It was clear from her daily updates that she was truly enjoying her time with them. She managed the needs of all three (including their different personalities!) with professionalism and great care. We felt such a huge sense of relief knowing our dogs were safe and happy. If you need a reliable, caring sitter, book Amy immediately!”

“This was our first time using Brent for check-ins on our 6 month old puppy. He was very helpful and always left good information on the daily Rover cards. We are so thankful he has been able to help us out!”

“We can always count on Cassy to take care of our furry kids. She prioritizes the animals and would go over and beyond to take care of them. We are very grateful to have her service”

“Hannah made me feel so safe leaving our puppies during a really hard time in our lives. We were in the process of moving but had to be at a wedding. Our dogs were freaked out about the total lack of anything in our house & then their parents left of top of that??? Hannah swooped in and ensured that with each visit she sent incredibly detailed information about their activities, what she did to take care of them & at least 4 pictures :) what a relief. I could not recommend Hannah highly enough. 5 stars seems too few ❤️”

“Richard, was babysitting our two dogs Roxy and Kouchie. He did very good job. He is very reliable and communicative. He loves animals. We absolutely like his service.”

“Carole provided drop-in visits for my cat during the holidays. She was very communicative and followed all instructions I provided to her. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“Samantha did such a great job visiting my cats who are very demanding. She really does a thorough and reliable job and is very kind. She communicates in a timely fashion which is great”

“Karina, was very responsive and helpful. She did a wonderful job with Xander and Westly with short notice. We really appreciate her help and look forward to booking again sometime.”

“Anna was a great sitter! During her drop in visits she took lots of pictures and cleaned up our pup when he got into some dirt. She was responsive and easy to work with.”

About: Growing up around dogs big and small, I’m more than capable and happy to take care of your pups. From drop-by’s to dog sitting for my friends and family for months at a time, I have experience with puppies, adults, and senior dogs alike. While I don’t own dogs right now, I long for my very own furry child. For the time being, I’ll make sure to love on your dog as I would with mine, and as I’ve done with every dog I’ve taken care of. Excited to meet you and your furry one! I’m currently working part-time so I have available flexibility. I can drop in in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings; same with walks (though a hot midday walk is probably not the best for your pup…). Depending on your the client’s requests, I play with the dog, give them their meal if need be, make sure there aren’t any accidents around, and if so, clean them up. I can give medicine and I’m not afraid to stop them from swallowing things they shouldn’t (yes, I’ll fish whatever they’re not supposed to be chewing with my bare hands).
“Jessica was amazing to work with. We had a last minute get away and we were nervous about what the dogs would do while we weee gone. Jessica was kind enough to come meet the dogs with us home before we left. Within seconds it was easy to see how she loves animals and our dogs were at complete ease with her. We also had no concerns letting her into our home to play with the dogs while we were away. She had a very flexible schedule and was on time and punctual morning, afternoon or at night. She will be our go to dog helper and she should be yours too.”

About: I’ve had all types of pets since I was a baby. I’ve had guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, cats, and dogs. I am an animal lover through and through. I have a pretty open schedule so I will always be able to make the time. If not then I will make sure to have that conversation with whoever I’m caring for. Whatever you ask I will do. I know all families situations are different. If they need to be crated I will. If they need to be let out I will. Just tell me what you need.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Argyle
I’m hesitant to write this review because I don’t want Wendy to get too booked up for my kitties (even though she absolutely deserves to be!). 😂 Long story short, Wendy saved my kitty’s life! She has been taking care of my boys for almost a year now, and I truly couldn’t ask for a better sitter. One of my boys is diabetic, and Wendy has been absolutely amazing at administering his insulin every 12 hours and going above and beyond to make sure he’s well cared for. Unfortunately, during our most recent trip, my baby boy went into diabetic ketoacidosis due to circumstances completely beyond Wendy’s control. Thanks to her initiative, attentiveness, and genuine care for my boys, she noticed that something was wrong and immediately took him to the ER. After several days of taking him to the vet, communicating with us, keeping us updated, and showing so much patience and care, he is finally back home and better than ever. I will never take Wendy for granted! SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE! ❤️🐾 If you’re lucky enough to book her, you can rest assured that your fur babies are in the absolute best hands.

Kylie is absolutely amazing! Everything went perfectly. Thank you so much Kylie for looking after my baby as well as all of the pictures :)! My baby is so happy and looking forward to seeing you again !! seriously NO complaints!! thank you especially since it was last minute!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
