About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, literally since the day I was born. My experience spans dogs, cats, birds, horses, donkeys, goats, and rabbits, giving me a deep understanding of animals with very different personalities, needs, and routines. I began fostering animals at 12 years old alongside my mom, helping care for them and place them into loving forever homes. My first job was as an in home pet sitter, and I immediately fell in love with providing animals the consistent care, attention, and comfort they need while their families are away. For over 10 years, I managed a farm, which taught me how to confidently handle multiple animals at once, follow detailed care routines, and stay calm, observant, and organized in dynamic environments. While I have years of hands on experience, my love and respect for animals has always come first. As a pet parent myself, I understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your pets in someone else’s care. Because of that, I’m intentional about clear communication, regular updates, and treating every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in caring hands while you’re away. I’m currently working remote so my schedule always is very flexible. I can provide multiple potty breaks through out the day and I also enjoy taking pets on a mid day walk. I have a fenced in yard, two friendly dogs and a quiet neighborhood perfect for our daily walks. Crating is also available per your request.
About: I've been pet-sitting professionally for people since 2017. I've had cats my entire life, dogs for almost as long, and I'm happy to take care of animals with special needs! I easily bond with most pets, and love smaller life as well! Currently have a free schedule, I'm available most hours to care for your furever friend. As long as you are there for the initial introductions to your pet I'm happy to show up when you need me to. I will keep to a schedule for your pets, if you have them crated at night or if they sleep with you I'm flexible on either arrangement. Happy to take dogs on neighborhood walks and play fetch.

About: I used to be a vet tech, I have experience with dogs of any size and age. También hablo español! I would love to drop by and spend time with your fur baby to make them comfortable or take them on walks! Flexibleschedule, love, taking dogs on walks, bathe them, feed or keep them active. I love being outdoors or just dropping in to check on them. I live in a two bedroom house with four dogs that are very well taken of. Lots of trails and parks nearby for entertainment and I love making pets feel comfortable.
About: I've taken care of 3-5 family and friends dogs in the past one in particular I have watched 3 separate occasions over the course of the past 5-6 years 2 times were 1 week and another time 2 weeks all at their house the big one was my older sisters dog I had her for about 6 months and it really helped her out with her situation at home and really helped her dog settle down a bit. A few other friends and families I have done have been for a week at a time at their house Currently booked during the labor day weeks so late August and early September and have a booking for thanksgiving week now as well. I would recommend/consider getting in touch in advance due to the individuals I watch scheduling in advance. Fairly flexible, willing to do two stays at once as long as both parties are okay with the back and fourth and understand I've become quite busy and in general are understanding of real life outside of dog sitting away from home. I let them do their thing, take notes about what they like how they are what time they get fed, very relaxed and laid back. What is your preferred method for me to enter or leave the home ex. garage with a code/opener, key pad on front door, regular key lock. My meet and greets typically last a while somewhere between 15-30 minutes I like to make sure I've gone over everything I possibly can and also allow you to ask me anything .
“Amazing experience! She walked my dogs and provided excellent care and attention. I really appreciated the updates and the videos, seeing my furbabies happy made me feel so at ease. Highly recommend!”

“Lauren provides excellent service and handles with great passion and flexibility. Top notch pet sitters have a presence that’s pets are drawn to ( my pup was constantly jumping - some of it is bad parenting but I refuse to believe it. There was a positive chemistry and I will 100% refer her services to anyone seeking in-home pet sitting.”

About: We offer pet care in our home as well as in your home. Your pet(s) are cared for by a trained veterinary tech! About this sitter: I provide care for your pets in your home or boarding in my home. I have had my business for over 20 years and am also a ER veterinary tech. Your pets will be loved and cared for as if they were our own! When boarding in our home they live among the family and are not kept in kennels the entire time like traditional boarding facilities. I do have baby gates and ways to keep pets separate if there is a personality conflict. However In the many years I’ve pet sat I’ve only had to do less than a handful of times. I am home 80% of the time, I do pull night shifts at the veterinary er 3 nights a week. I take pick up and drops offs for boarding Mon.-Sun. 9am-9pm and by appointment. I offer boarding in my home as well as pet sitting visits in clients homes. For boarding in my home I only keep one family at a time. I’m home most of the time since I homeschool and run my husband’s company from home. I am a relief veterinary er nurse so I do pull the occasional shift from time to time. If I pull a night shift, my husband is still home. We have a new fence and the entire backyard is fenced. We do have a doggy door that they have available anytime we are home. If we do leave for any reason I kennel. However, as long as we’re home they have free run of the house and yard. I do not intro my dogs with boarders during meet and greets. I do it slowly over the first 24 hours they are with us. So I’m happy to schedule meet and greets, just know I will not be introducing pets at that time.
About: Hi! I’m Sophie, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. ❤️ I grew up helping at my aunt’s pet hotel starting when I was 13 years old, and that’s where my love for caring for animals truly began. Now at 19, I’ve spent years caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently work at Three Bark Pet Hotel in Alvarado, where I care for a designated room of up to 10 dogs each day and also help care for cats when needed. My responsibilities include feeding on schedule, making sure every pet always has fresh water, taking them on potty breaks and walks, supervising playtime, cleaning their rooms, bathing them when necessary, and making sure they’re comfortable, safe, and happy throughout the day. 🐕🐈 The biggest reason I love this job is because every pet has their own unique personality. I genuinely get excited every time I meet a new dog or cat, and I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and love while their family is away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were one of my own. 💕 Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, explore, or simply relax, I’ll always meet them where they’re most comfortable and make sure they receive the love and attention they deserve. 🐾 Pet care is already a huge part of my everyday life! Between working at Three Bark Pet Hotel and being a full-time college student, I’ve learned how important consistency, responsibility, and communication are.✨ I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of exercise, playtime, affection, potty breaks, fresh food and water, and lots of love. ❤️ I’ll also send frequent updates and photos because I know how comforting it is to know your furry family member is happy while you’re away. 📸🐾 Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort will always be my top priorities. ❤️ I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs before caring for them. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, keeping their space clean, giving medication if needed, or simply spending quality time with them, I’ll always treat your pet with the same patience, love, and respect that I give my own. 🌸✨ I understand that trusting someone with your pet can be stressful. That’s why I believe communication is so important. I’ll keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages throughout each visit so you can relax knowing your pet is receiving genuine care and attention. 🐶🐱💕
About: Hi! My name is Ethan, and I’m a lifelong animal caregiver raised in a pet care home. My family has owned and operated a pet sitting business since 2008. I am experienced with both large and small breeds, hyper and anxious pets, and all ages from puppy to seniors. I’m pet CPR trained. My focus is on cultivating a calm, safe, and fun environment that maintains routine and builds trust. I’m currently between full-time roles and offering a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m excited to dedicate this time to caring for pets and giving them the attention they deserve! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my highest priorities. As a pet parent to three dogs and three cats, I understand that every animal has unique needs and daily routines. I’ll follow your care instructions closely to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible, providing dependable care and plenty of love and attention every step of the way.

About: I have experience with all ages from puppy to senior. I have always had dogs my whole life and have a lot of experience with all different kids of breeds. I enjoy having furry friends to provide unconditional love. I'm currently working part time so I have lots of extra time to play with pups! I am typically unavailable Friday and Saturday nights. I primarily do drop in visits. I will treat your pups as I treat my own. I will respect your home like my own as well!
About: EXPERIENCE Professional experience in the dog boarding industry as well as 39 years of constant com*paw*nionship. I've only been 2 years of my entire life without a dog. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MY DOGS My dogs live inside with me! They sleep at the foot of my bed on my bed (until I've had enough and nudge them off) and are employeed full time as my indoor shadow. It's a necessary expense!!! PERSONAL HISTORY/INSIGHT I'm a die-hard loyal companion to my pups bc they are to me first! Never surrendered a single one of my pets no matter the alternative road I faced! Moved and couldnt keep my dog? Didnt move. Approved on home under terms: No Dog, my reply, "my dog and me or deal breaker". I commit whole heartedly and for LIFE! How many people can say that and it be truth? I was the little girl who got untrusting strays to follow her home which I did by singing song from the little mermaid and Andrew Lloyd webber songs. <--yes...u read that right. They have always trusted me and warmed up to me extremely easily. WISDOM/RESILIENCE Growing up...a neighborhood dog almost ended my life and guess what....I learned a lot on what NOT to do and kept the bond strong. What happened to me didn't phase me. CONCLUSION I've always preferred the company of animals over people for many reasons. But don't judge me .... HIRE me. The friendship, respect, consideration and connection I can't help is of the absolute highest caliber. Period. I work from home and am extremely active. I'm an outdoorsy rebel who loves to explore the areas off the path. Hiking is how I stay going and sane. Dogs usually go with me. I care for them by being present and constantly engaged. I notice when they are laying on the floor and don't have something soft. I know the things to look for before a fight breaks out and I also know exactly how to get them to stop that does not risk either of the dogs or myself. *INSIDE THE HOME IS ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DOING JUST THIS...HIS PET IS ACTUALLY IN THE PHOTOS. AND HE CAN PROVIDE REFERENCES UPON REQUEST!
“Karly is great! Super responsive, provided very thorough report cards, and my boys really enjoyed their walks with her. Karly was flexible and available one night for an unscheduled, last minute drop-in. Puppy saver!”

About: Hi, my name is Taylour! I adore all animals and grew up with many of them, including horses, chickens, cats and dogs! In addition to caring for my own animals, I have experience caring for other people’s pets for about 10 years now. I have handled cats, large and small dogs as well as senior pets and puppies. I currently own a black pug named, Hopper. He’s four years old and an absolute sweetheart. I adopted him after my American Bulldog, Jake, passed away suddenly and he has been the best comfort and companion. I understand how precious our pets are to us and it’s always my goal to treat all pets with love, patience and understanding while also respecting the owners needs. I am currently a stay at home mom with my kids being in school during the day. Which leaves me with plenty of time to care for your pets. I treat all animals with respect first and foremost. I am attentive and detail oriented so I will be following given instructions precisely. Making sure you and your pets are comfortable is my number one priority.
About: As a dog owner, I understand how important it is to leave your pup in a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where you can feel completely at ease. I offer a smoke-free home with a spacious yard where your dog can explore, play, and relax comfortably. I’m a proud dog mom to two very sweet pups — Thor, my 3-year-old labradoodle and gentle giant, and Bowzer, my 10-year-old cockapoo couch potato. Thor is playful, crate-trained, and almost always carrying one of his toys around. Bowzer is calm, affectionate, and happiest curled up on the couch — and yes, I do allow pups on the couch 😊 Bowzy loves sharing his spot, and Thor is usually nearby with his toys and ready for cuddles. I believe communication is key, especially when your dog is in someone else’s care. During your pup’s stay, I’ll send regular updates along with photos and videos so you can relax knowing they’re happy and in good hands. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I only board one family’s dog at a time. This allows your pup to acclimate calmly with my dogs and ensures they receive my full attention. My goal is to provide a loving, safe, and cozy stay. I look forward to meeting you and your precious pup! I work from home three days a week and am in the office two days with limited hours, so I have a later start to my mornings and am typically home by 5pm. This allows for consistent potty breaks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Our mornings begin with a potty break in the yard followed by breakfast. In the evenings, the pups have dinner and we wind down with playtime, a walk around the neighborhood, or cozy couch time. If your pup follows a specific feeding, walking, or medication schedule, I’m more than happy to stick to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. I provide a calm, smoke-free home with plenty of indoor space and a yard for dogs to safely explore and play. We also enjoy neighborhood walks for extra exercise and fresh air. Thor is crate-trained and comfortable sleeping in his crate at night. Bowzer usually sleeps in his own bed or near me. I always follow what makes each dog feel most secure. If your pup prefers to be crated, sleeps in their own bed, or is used to sleeping near their people, I’m happy to accommodate their usual routine. If your dog requires a crate during their stay, I kindly ask that you provide their crate so they have something familiar and comfortable from home. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I only board one family’s dog at a time. I’ve found that dogs adjust best in a calm environment where they can acclimate at their own pace without the stress of multiple unfamiliar dogs. This allows me to give your pup my full attention and care.

Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
