Since childhood, I’ve always loved caring for animals and grew up with them in my home. Over 10 years, I've received in-depth training in pet nutrition and behavior and provided pet and housesitting services for more than 25 families, both in the US and Europe. I have experience with long-term stays (3+ months), administering oral medications and injections, and taking pets to vet appointments. I also make sure to regularly send updates and photos to pet owners, ensuring they feel confident that their little ones are in good hands.

Lauren took care of my 3 dogs, 5 cats, parrot, turtle and betta fish for 6 days. She even gave water to my sons tarantula! She kept in contact with me 1-2 times a day and kept my mind at ease. Very pleased with the care she gave my home and my babies. Thank you Lauren!

Lauren watched Molly for a week and she was wonderful! Molly was so relaxed when we got home and it was a blessing not to have to break her routine. Lauren walked and played with Molly every day. I am a researcher for an NGO enjoying the benefits of working remotely. My office is based in Washington, DC but I have the availability to stay with your fuzzy friend all day.

If possible, I prefer to meet your pet before the stay to make sure that they're comfortable with me. I also regularly send updates and photos to pet owners, ensuring they feel confident their pets are in good hands.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs, suiting their physical abilities, and enjoy taking them to dog parks and park trails. On a regular day, we go out 2-3 times and typically walk for 30-45 minutes.
