The Basics Done Right
Hi there! I'm doing this for fun—I truly love dogs, though I can't have one of my own right now. Hosting them is my way of staying close to the pups I adore. I'm all about doing the basics really well, because that’s what our furry friends need most: consistent care, a clean environment, and a calm, steady presence. I always feed on time, refresh water bowls at least once a day, and keep the space tidy. Dogs go out for potty breaks four times a day, and I’m home almost every day. Occasionally, I step out for errands (1–2 hours), but I make sure your dog is never left alone for long. I've been sitting dogs through Rover since 2018. Before that, I cared for a German Shepherd mix during my high school years. We were very close—he learned over 15 commands from me, which I was incredibly proud of. I hope your furry friend enjoys their time here just as much. What to Bring: Please bring your dog’s food, bowls, leashes, and any medications they need. You're also welcome to bring beds, blankets, toys, or treats—whatever makes your pup feel most at home. I have one large crate available, but I won’t use it unless you specifically request it (e.g., for crate training puppies at night). Drop-off & Pick-up: You're welcome to drop off or pick up your dog at any time—just let me know in advance so I can be ready to greet you. The Space: I live in a 1-bedroom, 1-sitting-room apartment. I keep the sitting room intentionally empty, so the dogs have a spacious, open area to move around and relax.

Wenjing is the best!! I've lost count of how many times she’s looked after Kiko, but we always come back because she’s so attentive and clearly loves dogs. Thank you so much for Kiko's little gift, too!
This is our first time leaving our two chihuahua mix dogs for a long period, and they came back like completely different dogs. I could tell they had an amazing time staying with Wenjing for a week. Cash used to be uncomfortable around other dogs and bark a lot, but that's changed now. They used to refuse to eat until we gave in and offered them human food, but after staying with Wenjing, they now happily eat their regular food. I could go on and on about all the positive changes that have made a big difference for us. We're really happy to have found Wenjing and will definitely book her again. I'm very thankful for her.

Schedule
I work from home full-time, which means I’m around most of the day to keep an eye on the dogs. I also order just about everything I need online, so I rarely need to leave the house for errands.

A typical day
I’ll follow your feeding instructions closely, make sure your pup always has fresh water each day, and spend some time playing with them. I typically do walks in the early morning or late evening when it’s cooler and quieter outside.
